Europe's highest ski centre, Val Thorens, France is a modern, purpose built resort with an excellent snow record and superb skiing and snowboarding to suit enthusiasts of all abilities and skills. There is a dedicated learning area for beginners, plenty of blues and reds for intermediates and for experts a number of long, steep descents.
