This week was the perfect opportunity for Miranda, Roy, Tate and Laura to show the judges just how much they want to be in the finale. For the most part, I think they all rose to the occasion. Any challenge where the artists have to incorporate feathers seems like a pretty herculean feat, so I was pretty happy with everyone’s efforts. There were some missteps and a few bad decisions, but this is a talented group of artists. I’m very happy with who made it into the finale.
Week 7 — it’s time for group dances. But before any of the performances started, Tom had an amazing announcement. Next Monday, Len won’t be around to judge. Taking his place as guest judge…..wait for it….CHER! It will be amazeballs! I know you are excited but, right now, we need to discuss this week’s show. Remember, no one went home last week. Turns out, there wasn’t a double elimination, but someone was leaving.

Rewind and Repeat: Team Foxing Awesome Performance, Dancing with the Stars Season 17 Week 7 [VIDEO]

OK, Dancing with the Stars is certainly not my beat. I really haven’t even been tuning in this season. Our own Melissa Friedman’s the one to do the weekly recaps. Hope you’ve been reading them. Here’s the thing. When I saw the video for this Team Foxing Awesome performance in my news feed on Facebook, I watched. And then I watched it again. And then I went to see if the clip existed on ABC.com. It did. So I watched it a third (and maybe a fourth time). So, for me, it’s definitely a rewind and repeat moment.
HBO Documentary Preview: Seduced and Abandoned [VIDEO]
“The movie business is the worst lover you’ve ever had in the sense that you are seduced and abandoned over and over again.” — Alec Baldwin
From HBO:
For ten days in May 2012, director James Toback and actor Alec Baldwin worked their way through the Cannes Film Festival in an attempt to secure financing for a proposed film project, a political-erotic Middle Eastern adventure inspired by Bernardo Bertolucci’s classic Last Tango in Paris. As they dashed around – hopeful against all odds – Toback filmed the hilarious and revealing proceedings, from pitches to billionaires, studio moguls, producers and international sales financiers, to intimate encounters with major movie stars and iconic directors whose passion for movies proves it’s still possible to transcend the madness.
What compromises will they have to make? Who will they convince to give them money? What do their colleagues - both directors and actors - have to add to the mix? And will they be able to make the film they want to make?
Seduced and Abandoned premieres Monday, October 28th at 9/8c on HBO.
Moment of Goodness: Hook Saves David’s Life, Once Upon a Time “Good Form”

Neverland is growing on me. I’m not sure why exactly, but it is. It’s so much darker and more discouraging than the playful place we read about as children, yet it isn’t without a spark of hope. It has been hard to watch Henry undergoing the transformation to a Lost Boy, and I’m still holding out hope that he is rescued before things go too far.
Moment of Sadness: Libby [SPOILER], Masters of Sex “Catherine”

Dr. William Masters is emotionally constipated. For all the sympathy and empathy he can show to couples struggling to conceive (that Christian couple was both hilarious and ridiculous), he is equal measures distant and difficult with his wife. Yes, he was ambivalent - at best - when it came to wanting to be a father, but he genuinely loves and cares for Libby. It’s just a shame he can’t say it or show it when Libby needs it most.
