Justice League Wraps Filming, Professor X From Logan Revealed - Collider Movie Talk

But that’s not the only aging hero in the movie. James Mangold has recently revealed a brand new behind-the-scenes image featuring an older, more haggard Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier/Professor X. And though plot details do shed some light on Professor X, we don’t exactly know how he’ll fit into the movie with Logan. We’ll find out more when it debuts in theatres on March 3, 2017. BUY OR SELL Yesterday, a new set of images and poster were released from Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The movie stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne as special operatives for the government of the human territories charged with maintaining order throughout the universe. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets opens in theatres on July 21, 2017. According to Variety, Disney is in talks with Hairspray director Adam Shankman to helm Disenchanted, the sequel to the Amy Adams 2007 comedy-fantasy Enchanted. The sequel has been in development for several years now with Adams saying earlier this year that she hopes to be involved. The story is set ten years after Enchanted, with Adams’ Giselle character questioning her happily ever after, and accidentally triggering events that make everyone’s lives turn upside-down in both the real world and in the animated kingdom of Andalasia. Two new teasers have been released for John Wick Chapter 2 and War For The Planet of the Apes. War’s snowy teaser is set to a voice over from Andy Serkis’ Caesar saying his farewell to Malcolm (Jason Clarke) at the end of Dawn, while John Wick picks up with Keanu Reeves in Rome getting fitted for a new suit and heavy firepower. Both movies will share all new footage at this weekend’s New York comic con. War for the Planet of the Apes opens July 14, 2017 and John Wick Chapter 2 opens on February 10, 2017. According to The Wrap, Emily Mortimer has joined the cast of Mary Poppins Returns as the grown-up Jane Banks. She will star alongside Ben Whishaw as her brother Michael Banks, Emily Blunt as the ageless magical nanny as well as Lin-Manuel Miranda and Meryl Streep. Mary Poppins Returns is set in Depression-era London, 20 years after the events of the original 1964 movie. Jane and Michael are now adults, and Michael has three kids of his own. When tragedy strikes the family, Mary Poppins arrives to help them rediscover the joy and adventure missing from their lives. Mary Poppins Returns is scheduled to open December 25, 2018. The Blade Runner sequel will be released in one year and to mark the occasion, Warner Bros. has revealed that the film’s official title is Blade Runner 2049. Presumably, the “2049” refers to the year, since the original Blade Runner took place in November 2019. Sicario and Arrival director Denis Villeneuve directs, with Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling both set to star. The film hits theatres on October 5, 2017.
