Shannon
Jack Shannon is a New York cop and a single father. He decides to move to San Francisco so that his late wife's parents can help him take care of his son. So he calls in a few favors to get a job with the local police. His new boss doesn't welcome him warmly cause he doesn't like the fact that Shannon got a job that should go to someone local and that he pulled some strings to get his job. But the two of them learn to get along.

Henry Gross (born April 1, 1951) is an American singer-songwriter best known for his association with the group, Sha Na Na and for his hit song, "Shannon". He was the youngest person, at age 18, to play on the main stage at the Woodstock Music & Art Fair in 1969.

Early years[link]
Gross was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. His mother Zelda's love of music encouraged his pursuit of a performing career. By age fourteen, he was playing regularly in local clubs in the New York area, and spending his summers playing at Catskill Mountains resort hotels.
At age 18, while a student at Brooklyn College, Gross became a founding member of Sha Na Na, playing guitar and wearing the greaser clothes he wore while a student at Midwood High School.
Going solo[link]
Gross broke from Sha Na Na to become a solo singer-songwriter in 1970. He signed a recording contract with ABC Dunhill Records in 1971. His debut album had little commercial success. He continued to play at clubs and colleges until, in 1973, he was signed with A&M Records.
His first self-titled A&M album sold well. It made several regional hits including "Simone," "Come On Say It," "Skin King," and a cover version of Lindisfarne's European hit, "Meet Me On The Corner". Gross' second A&M album was Plug Me Into Something. He began to achieve national recognition in Rolling Stone and The New York Times.

Gross moved on to Lifesong Records to make his next album. He produced a single, "Shannon", a song written about the death of Beach Boy Carl Wilson's Irish setter of the same name. The single went gold based on US sales alone,[1] and became a worldwide hit, reaching #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1976. In Canada, it reached #1 in May of the same year.[2] It peaked at #32 in the UK Singles Chart.[1] After this single's success, Gross released the album, Release. His second single, "Springtime Mama", reached #37 in the US. On his next album, Show Me to the Stage, Gross mixed rock and roll songs with Phil Spector and Brian Wilson influences. While the album sold well, it provided no hit singles. He also recorded The Beatles song "Help!" for the documentary, All This and World War II; both occurred in 1976. Gross' recording career slowed, but with CBS Records he made "Love is the Stuff" and with Capitol Records, in 1981, along with Bobby Colomby, produced the What's in a Name album.
In the 1980s, Gross performed in the road company production of Pump Boys and Dinettes, with a cast featuring Jonathan Edwards and Nicolette Larson. Gross moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1986 and signed a publishing deal with Pic-A-Lic Music, a company owned by Roger Cook and Ralph Murphy.

"Shannon" is remembered for being the subject of a profanity-laced tirade by American Top 40 host Casey Kasem, while recording an episode of the show in 1985. A listener had requested "Shannon" as a 'Long Distance Dedication' (a regular feature of the show) to his own recently-deceased dog. Kasem was upset that the show's producers had placed the dedication immediately following the Pointer Sisters' hit "Dare Me", an up-tempo song that he considered a poor lead-in to a sad song such as "Shannon".

Since 1990[link]
Gross continued his song writing and recording career in Nashville. In 1993, he released the album, Nothing But Dreams, on his own record label, Zelda Records, named after his mother. He has had worldwide hits as an artist and writer, including "Shannon" (1976) and more recently "Big Guitar", a Top 40 Country Radio hit for the Arista recording group, Blackhawk, fronted by his good friend, Henry Paul. Gross released I'm Hearing Things on Zelda Records in 2001. He has also written and currently performs a one man show called "One Hit Wanderer", chronicling the highlights and funniest moments of his life in and out of the entertainment business.
He continues to record in Fort Myers, Florida with multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer John McLane producing four albums with 74 tracks: One Hit Wanderer (2006), Foreverland (2007) and "Rhymes and Misdemeanors" and "Right As Rain" (2011).

Early life[link]
Tweed was born in St John's, Newfoundland, to a mink rancher[2] and was raised on a mink ranch in Markland. Shannon is one of seven children. She has two younger sisters, Tracy (born May 10, 1965), who is an actress, and Sara Tweed, who lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She has another sister, Kim. Shannon and Tracy shared the screen in the film Night Eyes 3, and have appeared nude together in a Playboy spread. Tracy occasionally makes appearances on Family Jewels. She also has two brothers, Lance and Jeff.
After their father was badly injured in a car crash, her mother was left to care for the children on her own while her father was recuperating. Eventually her mother had to sell the ranch to support her seven children. Mrs Tweed did not tell her husband that she had sold the ranch and when he found out, he divorced her. Shannon's mother moved the family to her home town of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Tweed attended Mount Royal Collegiate in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan but never graduated. She became involved in beauty pageants at a young age. In 1978, she was Miss Ottawa and fourth in the Miss Canada Pageant. She won the Miss Canada talent competition (her specialty was singing).[2]

After the Canadian wish-fulfilment TV series Thrill of a Lifetime arranged for her to pose for Hugh Hefner's Playboy, she was chosen to be the Playmate of the Month for the November 1981 issue and eventually the Playmate of the Year for 1982.[4][5][6] Since then, Tweed has primarily acted in TV series such as the HBO comedy 1st and Ten, the prime-time soap opera Falcon Crest and guest appearances on Frasier, as well as B movies. Tweed also appeared in an episode of The Dukes of Hazzard in the seventh and final season. In 1985, she landed a role on Days of our Lives as Savannah Wilder, remaining with the show until 1987. She reprised the role for a brief storyline in October 2011.
Her first major theatrical film appearance was in the teen sex comedy Hot Dog... The Movie in 1984. Since then, Tweed has appeared in more than 60 films including Detroit Rock City, produced by Gene Simmons in 1999.
Personal life[link]
Tweed had a relationship with the CFL linebacker Ron Foxx, who then played for the Ottawa Rough Riders. After a brief relationship with Hugh Hefner[2] (which coincided with her Playmate appearances and being named 1982 Playmate of the Year), Tweed has lived with Gene Simmons of Kiss since 1983.[7] The couple have two children, Nicholas (born January 22, 1989) and Sophie Alexandra (born July 7, 1992) Simmons. The family members star in a reality television show on A&E entitled Gene Simmons Family Jewels.[8] On October 1, 2011 Shannon and Simmons married at the historic Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.[9]

Shannon Emery Lee (born April 19, 1969) is an American actress. She is the daughter of martial artist and actor Bruce Lee and Linda Lee Cadwell, the granddaughter of Cantonese opera singer Lee Hoi-Chuen, and the younger sister of Brandon Lee.[1]

Shannon Lee was born as the second child to Bruce and Linda (Emery) Lee. Shannon and her family lived in Hong Kong from 1971 to 1973, after which her mother moved back to the United States following the death of her father. Together, they lived in Seattle, Washington (Linda's hometown) and Los Angeles. Shannon grew up in the affluent area of Rolling Hills, California.
Graduating from The Chadwick School in 1987, Lee then attended Tulane University in New Orleans, where she studied voice and graduated in 1991. She moved back to Los Angeles in 1993 after her brother's death to pursue acting. She married lawyer Anthony Keasler in 1994, and bore their daughter, Wren, in 2003.
She is also known for managing her father's official Facebook memorial page.
Career[link]
Lee made her acting debut playing a cameo in her father's biopic film Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story in 1993. She went on to act in several low budget films including High Voltage (1997), And Now You're Dead (1998) and Lessons for an Assassin (2001). She also guest-starred in an episode of the television series Martial Law alongside Sammo Hung in 1998 and appeared in the science-fiction television film Epoch, which first aired on the Sci Fi Channel in 2000. She was also the television host of the first season of WMAC Masters.
Lee is currently the president of the Bruce Lee Foundation.[2] She also sang on the band Medicine's album The Mechanical Forces of Love in 2003. Shannon also sang a cover of "I'm in the Mood for Love" for the movie China Strike Force (2000), which starred Leehom Wang and Aaron Kwok. She is the executive producer of the 2008 television series The Legend of Bruce Lee, based on her father's life. She also is executive producer of the 2011 documentary film called I Am Bruce Lee.

Shannon Brown (born November 29, 1985) is an American professional basketball player who plays at the shooting guard and point guard positions. He plays in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Phoenix Suns. Brown attended Proviso East High School in Maywood, Illinois, was named Illinois Mr. Basketball in 2003, and played college basketball at Michigan State University. The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Brown in 2006; Brown played his rookie season with Cleveland and has played for three teams in the NBA Development League.

Cleveland Cavaliers[link]
Brown was drafted in the first round with the 25th pick of the 2006 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Appearing in only 23 games (5 starts) in his debut season, he showed promise, scoring in double figures twice (10 points vs. New York on November 29 and 14 vs. Toronto on 3/3), but was hampered by an injury to his shin.
Brown was assigned to the NBA Development League's Albuquerque Thunderbirds on March 2, 2007[3] but was recalled by the Cavaliers a day later. In his sole game as a Thunderbird, Brown scored 14 points with four rebounds and six assists.[4][5] Brown returned to the NBA Development League, this time with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, on January 11, 2008.[4] In four games as a Viper, He averaged 23.5 points, including a 37-point performance against the Dakota Wizards on January 16.[6] He was recalled by the Cavaliers on January 17.[7]
Through 2007–08's All-Star Break, Brown played in 15 games during the season (starting four games), averaging 7.0 points per game.
Chicago Bulls[link]
On February 21, 2008, Brown was traded to the Chicago Bulls as part of a 3-team deal between the Bulls, the Cavaliers, and the Sonics. The Sonics received Cavs forward Ira Newble, Cavs forward Donyell Marshall, and Bulls forward Adrian Griffin. The Cavs received Bulls center Ben Wallace, Bulls forward Joe Smith, the Bulls' 2009 2nd round pick (which turned out to be Danny Green), Sonics forward Wally Szczerbiak, and Sonics guard Delonte West. While the Bulls received Brown, Cavs forward Drew Gooden, Cavs guard Larry Hughes, and Cavs forward Cedric Simmons.[8][9]

On August 6, 2008, he was signed to the Charlotte Bobcats to a one-year contract worth the minimum NBA salary of $800,000.[10][11]
Los Angeles Lakers[link]
On February 7, 2009, Brown was traded, along with Adam Morrison, to the Los Angeles Lakers for Vladimir Radmanović.[12]
Brown's playing time with the Lakers was initially limited. Towards the end of the season, Brown experienced an upswing of playtime. In the 5 final games of the season, Brown played for an average of 16.4 minutes. With those minutes, he averaged 7.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.[13]
Brown's increased playtime would carry on to the playoffs. In the opening game in the first round match up against the Jazz, Brown played 22 minutes. He had 9 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds and a steal. He finished the series averaging 17.4 minutes, 7.2 points, 1.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and one steal per game.
On July 6, 2009, Brown agreed to return to the Lakers for two years and $4.2 million.
It was announced on January 18, 2010 that he was selected to compete in the Sprite Slam Dunk Competition at Dallas in the 2010 All-Star weekend. On the same day, he led the Lakers with 22 points in their 98–92 win against the Orlando Magic.[14] Brown participated in the dunk contest on February 13, 2010, but did not advance beyond the first round.[15]
On February 16, 2010, in a game against the Golden State Warriors, Brown scored a career high 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his first career double-double.[16] He won his second championship at the end of the season.
On August 5, 2010, Brown decided to return to the Lakers, agreeing to a two-year deal worth $4.6 million.[17]
On August 8, 2010, Brown signed the deal with the Lakers.[18]
On June 30, 2011, Brown terminated his contract with the Lakers.[19]
Phoenix Suns[link]
On December 10, 2011, the Phoenix Suns signed Shannon Brown to a 1 year contract.[20] On March 15, 2012, Brown led the Suns with 21 points in a tough 91–87 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. On March 28, 2012, Brown scored a career high 32 points, with five 3-pointers, in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs. On April 7, 2012, Brown would score 20 points in the third quarter against his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers. He would lead the team with 24 points in a blowout 125-105 victory. Two days later, Brown would grab seven rebounds for the Suns (tied for the team game-high with Marcin Gortat) in a blowout 114-90 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Brown has a son, named Shannon Christopher Brown.[23]
Since 2010, Brown has been in a relationship with R&B singer Monica Arnold. The pair met in June 2010 when Brown was consulted to star as her love interest in the music video for the single "Love All Over Me".[24] In October 2010, Arnold confirmed her engagement to Brown via Twitter, posting a photo of her massive, rose-cut diamond ring.[25] On November 22, 2010, Arnold and Brown were married in a secret ceremony at their Los Angeles home. The marriage did however not become a matter of public record until January 21, 2011, when Brown told the Hip-Hop Non-Stop TV-Show.[26] The couple had a second wedding ceremony for family and friends in July 2011.[27]
