Why anyone goes to the theme parks is beyond me. Seeing Floridas beauty is what you should do. Go on an adventure not to a fake, contrived, adventure. See the real world, it's less expensive and way more awesome.
This is Blue Springs State Park in Orange City, Florida, about 45 minutes north of Orlando,
The spring shoots out 200 million gallons of fresh water a day, that creates a fresh water river that is a constant 72 degrees.
There's a narrow passage that starts at about 12 or 15 feet deep then you swim another 6 to 8 feet through a rock tunnel, this time of blackness is the time you spend in the tunnel. I wouldn't recommend this if you are claustrophobic. Then you swim out into the larger cave opening avoid the trees as you are coming up and you have done an awesome free dive through a cave.
The Letchworth SP is advertised as "The Grand Canyon of the East", and it certainly is quite impressive and beautiful, even though it cannot stand comparison with the Grand Canyon. This video shows views from the Gorge Trail and from West and East rims, with the Lower, Middle and Upper falls. Recorded September 2012 in HD with Panasonic TM900.

Vogel State Park is one of the oldest in the State of Georgia and one of the most well liked by locals and especially Floridians who flock to this 2,280 foot elevation park to escape the humid summer heat of Florida. It is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains at the base of Blood Mountain. The park lies in the middle of the Chattahoochee National Forest and is one of the richest botanical areas in Georgia.
The park covers 233 acres and features 22 acre Lake Trahlyta which was built in the 1930s by the CCC and named after an Indian princess. The lake is available for fishing year round. The park provides 103 tent & RV sites, most with water & electrical hook-ups. There are 4 comfort stations in the campgrounds and 2 dump stations. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boats are available for rent.

Near St George Utah.
Sand Hollow Reservoir and the surrounding area is absolutely one of the most amazing places my family has ever had an adventure at. It's a place to do almost any thing and the variety is what makes it such a great summer vacation spot for the family.
(Summer water temperature is in the low to mid 80's.)
Activites include Day / Overnight Camping for tents to RV's , Swimming, Fishing, Hiking, Herping, Boating, Off Road with Your ATV or trucks with endless trails starting inside the park and going out in to the beautiful Utah Desert, Numerous species Reptiles, plants in the spring and other animals for nature lovers in the area to see the area and plenty of other parks like Zion National Park, Snow Canyon State Park, Red cliffs National conservation area. This park is one of the best parks in the western USA that I have been to so far out of CA, AZ, NV, NM, OR, ID, CO and I'm sure it would still sit pretty high amount all park simply because the endless way to have fun that fill a need or desire for every one.

Great Smoky Mountains, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain, Olympic, Zion, Grand Teton, Acadia, Glacier, Volcanoes, Joshua Tree, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Sequoia, Death Valley, Saguaro, Wind Cave, Virgin Islands, Mesa Verde, Kings Canyon, Crater Lake, Canyonlands to name a few and all the animals and insects that go with them, Any Reptile, Amphibian, Bird, Fish, Mammal and even all the Plants.
This lake is one that is know to have the SWIMMERS ITCH occasionally witch is a parasite that gets into your skin and causes rashes. Get topical cream from store and apply it before swimming don't stay in shallow water with stirred up silt for too, Try to get out to deeper water to swim away from the crowds or float around and wash off after you swim asap, I got the itch 1 time from another lake but not from this one and you don't want it lol. But I was able to swim in the lake over 20 times with problems by sticking to deeper water but I did not use the protective cream. With that said this place is too amazing to skip out on if you do things right.
All footage in this video is from the State park or the BLM land next to the park that is open access for the general public except for a few videos that were from the Virgin river right that is a few miles away from the park.

State park
State parks or provincial parks are parks or other protected areas managed at the sub-national level within those nations which use "state" or "province" as a political subdivision. State parks are typically established by a state to preserve a location on account of its natural beauty, historic interest, or recreational potential. There are state parks under the administration of the government of each U.S. state, and of some states of Mexico. The term is also used in Australia, though the distinction between state and national parks there is different. The Canadian equivalent term is provincial park. State parks are thus similar to national parks, but under state rather than federal administration. Vogel State Park - GA
Vogel State Park is one of the oldest in the State of Georgia and one of the most well liked by locals and especially Floridians who flock to this 2,280 foot elevation park to escape the humid summer heat of Florida. It is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains at the base of Blood Mountain. The park lies in the middle of the Chattahoochee National Forest and is one of the richest botanical areas in Georgia. The park covers 233 acres and features 22 acre Lake Trahlyta which was built in the 1930s by the CCC and named after an Indian princess. The lake is available for fishing year round. The park provides 103 tent & RV sites, most with water & electrical hook-ups. There are 4 comfort stations in the campgrounds and 2 dump stations. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boats are available for rent.

There's a narrow passage that starts at about 12 or 15 feet deep then you swim another 6 to 8 feet through a rock tunnel, this time of blackness is the time you spend in the tunnel. I wouldn't recommend this if you are claustrophobic. Then you swim out into the larger cave opening avoid the trees as you are coming up and you have done an awesome free dive through a cave.

This lake is one that is know to have the SWIMMERS ITCH occasionally witch is a parasite that gets into your skin and causes rashes. Get topical cream from store and apply it before swimming don't stay in shallow water with stirred up silt for too, Try to get out to deeper water to swim away from the crowds or float around and wash off after you swim asap, I got the itch 1 time from another lake but not from this one and you don't want it lol. But I was able to swim in the lake over 20 times with problems by sticking to deeper water but I did not use the protective cream. With that said this place is too amazing to skip out on if you do things right.
All footage in this video is from the State park or the BLM land next to the park that is open access for the general public except for a few videos that were from the Virgin river right that is a few miles away from the park.

Sand Hollow Reservoir and the surrounding area is absolutely one of the most amazing places my family has ever had an adventure at. It's a place to do almost any thing and the variety is what makes it such a great summer vacation spot for the family.
