Blackpool Pleasure Beach has topped a holidaymakers' poll of the best amusement parks in the UK and even held its own in Europe, to be voted into the top 10 alongside Disneyland Paris and PortAventura in Spain. Blackpool's Sandcastle Waterpark also proved a favourite with travellers - being placed eighth in a list of best European water parks. Instead, the Staffordshire Park took 12th place in Europe, and four other UK attractions made it into the European amusement park top 25.
