Runs were plentiful for each team in game one against Wayne State College as both the Vikings and Wildcats combined to score 33 runs in their seven inning affair. In the first three innings of the game it looked like the Vikings hitting and pitching were on point as they scored eight runs and only allowed two in the first inning ... With the Vikings holding onto a 12-2 lead Wayne State found it's strength in the bottom of the fourth....
