Scott 2

Scott 2 is the second solo album by Scott Walker.

Overview

Scott 2 follows the formula of Walker's début release, with a mixture of contemporary covers ("Black Sheep Boy", "The Windows of the World") Jacques Brel interpretations ("Jackie", "Next", "The Girls and the Dogs"), film songs ("Wait Until Dark", "Come Next Spring") and his own original compositions ("The Amorous Humphrey Plugg", "The Girls from the Streets", "Plastic Palace People", "The Bridge"). The content of his own and Brel's material was markedly more risqué than on Scott, with "Jackie", "Next" and "The Girls from the Streets" standing out with themes of sexual tribulations and decadent lifestyles.

According to Jonathan King writing in the liner notes to Scott 2, not long after the album had been completed, Walker described it as the "work of a lazy, self-indulgent man." He added, "Now the nonsense must stop, and the serious business must begin." King continues about Walker: "I have no doubt that many years from now, over a space age dinner of vitamins, [...] he will say: 'Well, the last fifty years have been great fun, but now we must get down to doing something worthwhile.' And he'll mean it."

2 Chainz

Tauheed Epps (born September 12, 1977), better known by his stage name 2 Chainz (formerly Tity Boi), is an American rapper from College Park, Georgia. He initially gained recognition for being one-half of the Southern hip hop duo Playaz Circle, alongside his longtime friend and fellow rapper, Earl "Dolla Boy" Conyers. They are perhaps best known for being signed to fellow Georgia-based rapper Ludacris' Disturbing tha Peace label, as well as their debut single "Duffle Bag Boy".

In February 2012, Epps signed a solo record deal with Def Jam Records, an imprint of Universal Music Group. The following August, he released his debut studio album Based on a T.R.U. Story, to mixed reviews. The album spawned three successful singles: "No Lie", "Birthday Song", and "I'm Different", all of which charted in the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100 and were certified Gold or higher by the RIAA, along with the album being certified Gold. His second studio album B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time was released on September 11, 2013. It was supported by the singles "Feds Watching", "Where U Been?", and "Used 2".

Jacques Webster (born April 30, 1992), better known by his stage name Travis Scott, stylized as Travi$ Scott, is an American recording artist, music producer, and musician from Houston, Texas. In 2012, Scott signed a record deal with Epic Records. In November of the same year, Scott signed with GOOD Music, as an in-house producer, after appearing on the label's debut compilation album, Cruel Summer (2012). In April 2013, it was announced he signed with T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. He released his first official full-length project, a mixtape titled Owl Pharaoh, on May 21, 2013. He then released his second mixtape Days Before Rodeo on August 18, 2014. His debut album Rodeo was released on September 4, 2015.

Early life

Jacques Webster was born on April 30, 1992. He grew up in Missouri City, a suburban area outside Houston and attended Elkins High School. Normally, Scott would stay with his grandmother, while his mother worked for the company Apple, and his father ran his own business. Scott attended the University of Texas at Austin as well as The University of Texas at San Antonio before leaving to fully pursue his music career.

Scott Adkins

Scott Edward Adkins (born 17 June 1976) is an English actor and martial artist who is best known for playing Yuri Boyka in Undisputed II: Last Man Standing and Undisputed III: Redemption, Bradley Hume in Holby City, Ed Russell in Mile High and as Hector in The Expendables 2. Adkins has also appeared in Dangerfield, Hollyoaks, The Tournament TV series and many others, as well as many films.

Early life

Scott Adkins was born at Sutton Coldfield, England, on 17 June 1976. He became interested in martial arts at the age of 10 when he and his father and older brother, Craig visited the local Judo club. His interest towards martial arts grew even more at age 14 when he adopted Bruce Lee as his idol. That same year, he started practicing taekwondo and received his first black belt at the age 19. Since age 16, Adkins has also trained in kickboxing which he holds black belt in. He also has trained in Ninjutsu, Judo, Karate, Jujutsu, Wushu, Krav Maga, Capoeira, Jeet Kune Do and gymnastics.
