I love all the Tartars Ah SATTAR. Sabantuy
According to some studies, this ancient holiday has ancient history. So far back as 921 AD the Christian era, described it in his writings, the famous scholar Ibn Fadlan arrived in Bulgar as ambassador from Baghdad. Also in the region of Tatarstan Alkeyevsky scientists discovered tombstone Bulgar period, the inscription on which reads that the deceased rested in 1120 on the day Sabantui. The origin of the ancestors of the Tatars of the holiday calendar Sabantuy associated with the rites of public prayers and sacrifices in honor of the god of the sky and the sun Tengre and ancestral spirits. Despite the impact on the feast of Sabantuy at different times of certain elements (Muslim, Christian, Soviet), passing the tradition of practices, games and competitions Sabantui remained continuous. During the period of the Khanate of Kazan Sabantuy received the status of the mass of the national holiday. It is held after the spring sowing, when the hard life of rural dwellers comes a little respite. Modern Sabantuy retained all the value that was passed on from generation to generation. A tradition of summing it the outcome of the workers during the spring field work began in the Soviet era and continues today. The dni przodków Tatarów w kalendarzu wakacyjnym Sabantuy związanych z obrzędów publicznych modlitw i ofiary na cześć boga nieba i Tengre słońca i duchów przodków. Pomimo wpływu na święta Sabantuy w różnym czasie niektórych elementów w muzułmaninem, chrześcijaninem, radziecki), przechodząc w tradycję praktyk, gry i konkursy Sabantui pozostał ciągły.

Maria Korepanova (Udmurtia) ENG Maria Korepanova who sings Udmurt and Besserman songs is famous for her unique manner of singing. Since she was 17, she has been going on expeditions in her home area in Northern Udmurtia and collected archaic folk songs which are known as "krezes". Getting to know genuine traditional culture completely changed her outlook on life. Having previously been involved only in academic choir singing, she was deeply impressed by the powerful way the village women sang. Today, she has brought herself to a master level of proficiency in this Besserman improvisational singing style. During the last few years, Korepanova has performed with different Udmurtian ethno groups and projects. As a contemporary musician, she is open to experiments but she never loses touch with her musical roots. The Bessermans are a small nation in the North-Western part of Udmurtia who have a fascinating culture. They speak a dialect of Udmurtian with Tartar influences. Some of the Besserman traditions differ from Udmurtian traditions due to the influence of Islam during the Volga-Bulgarian and Khanate of Kazan period. The Besserman's name for themselves is derived from the Arabian word "muslim" through Turkish and Persian languages, which literally means "obedient", "humble" (Wikipedia).
