Nirvana reborn 20 years on

Astonishingly, the 20th anniversary of the release of Nirvana's third and final studio album, In Utero, is upon us. This brings us back to a time when Kurt Cobain's power trio were the biggest band on the planet. The impact of their previous album, Nevermind, had tilted the rock world on its axis and made grunge the defining sound of the early Noughties. (They also altered the world of fashion, but the less said about ill-matched combinations of ripped jeans, scuffed Converse runners, patched-up stripey cardigans and unkempt greasy hair, the better.)

Don't Miss
