Mark Millar (born 24 December 1969) is a Scottish comic book writer, known for his work on books such as The Authority, The Ultimates, Marvel Knights Spider-Man, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Civil War, Wanted, and Kick-Ass, the latter two of which have been adapted into feature films. In August 2007, he won the Stan Lee award at Wizardworld in Chicago.

Millar was born in Coatbridge. He has a brother, Bobby, who works at a special needs school.

Millar was inspired to become a comic writer after meeting Alan Moore at a signing session at AKA Books and Comics when he was a teenager in the late 1980s. However it was not until experiencing financial problems after his parents died that he decided to drop out of university and take up writing professionally.

His first job as a comic book writer came when he was still in high school, writing Trident's Saviour with Daniel Vallely providing art. Saviour combined elements of religion, satire and superhero action Millar later became known for.

During the 1990s, Millar then worked on titles such as 2000 AD, Sonic the Comic and Crisis. In 1993, Millar, Grant Morrison and John Smith created a controversial eight-week run on 2000 AD called The Summer Offensive. It was during this run that Millar and Morrison wrote their first major story together, the highly controversial strip Big Dave.

Jeff Wadlow is an American film director, screenwriter and producer. He wrote and directed the 2005 film Cry Wolf with the money he won in the 2002 Chrysler Million Dollar Film Competition for his short film, Living the Lie. He directed the film Never Back Down, which was released on 14 March 2008, and starred Djimon Hounsou and Sean Faris.

On May 8 2012, it was confirmed that Wadlow will direct the sequel to the 2010 black comedy superhero film Kick-Ass.

He is the nephew of CBS Evening News Anchor Katie Couric and is the son of the late Emily Couric.

Bryan Singer (born September 17, 1965) is an American film director, writer and producer. Singer won critical acclaim for his work on The Usual Suspects, and is especially well-known among fans of the science fiction and superhero genres for his work on the X-Men films and Superman Returns.

Singer was born in New York City, and was adopted by Grace Singer (née Sinden), an environmental activist, and Norbert Dave Singer, a corporate executive. He grew up in a Jewish household in West Windsor Township, New Jersey. He attended West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South (formerly just West Windsor-Plainsboro High School), graduating in 1984. For college, Singer studied filmmaking for two years at New York's School of Visual Arts and later transferred to the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles. Actors Lori and Marc Singer are his cousins. He is openly gay and has said that his life experiences of growing up as a minority influenced his movies. He was diagnosed with dyslexia.

After graduating, Singer directed a short film called Lion's Den involving a number of friends, including actor Ethan Hawke whom he knew from his childhood in New Jersey and editor John Ottman who he had met while working on a friend's short film.

James Eugene "Jim" Carrey (born January 17, 1962) is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, and producer. Carrey has received four Golden Globe Award nominations, winning two. Known for his highly energetic, slapstick performances, he has been described as one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood.

Carrey first gained recognition in 1990 after landing a recurring role in the sketch comedy In Living Color. His first leading roles in major productions came with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), Dumb and Dumber (1994), The Mask (1994), and Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995). In 1997, he gave a critically acclaimed performance in Liar Liar, which earned him a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor. He then starred in the critically acclaimed hits The Truman Show (1998) and Man on the Moon (1999), both garnering him two Golden Globe Awards for Best Actor.

In 2000, he gained further recognition for his portrayal of the The Grinch in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Three years later, Carrey starred in the major blockbuster film Bruce Almighty (2003). The following year he starred in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), for which he received another Golden Globe nomination in addition to a BAFTA Award nomination. He then starred in popular productions Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), Fun with Dick and Jane (2005), Yes Man (2008), A Christmas Carol (2009), and Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011).

Dan DiDio (born October 13, 1959) is an American writer, editor and publisher who has worked in the television and comic book industries. He is currently the Co-Publisher of DC Comics, along with Jim Lee. Wizard magazine recognized him as its first ever “Man of the Year” in 2003 for his work on the DC Universe line.

Prior to joining DC Comics, DiDio worked in television, beginning in 1981. He worked extensively in the daytime soap opera industry on soaps such as Loving and The City^{[citation needed]}.

After leaving ABC, DiDio was a freelance writer and story editor for Mainframe Entertainment, specifically working on ReBoot and War Planets. Joining the company full time he became Mainframe's Senior Vice President of Creative Affairs^{[citation needed]}.

DiDio joined DC comics in January, 2002, as Vice President - Editorial, as well as writer for Superboy (issues 94 to 100); and was promoted to Vice President -Executive Editor, DC Universe in October, 2004.

Since 2006, DiDio has been writing a weekly column for DC Comics called "DC Nation" which has then been appearing on the end page of most of DC Comics' main superhero titles; originally, the column was tied in to the yearlong weekly maxi-series 52, a project which he oversaw, but it has continued since.
