"In a blistering new message, the leader of al Qaeda denounces the leader of ISIS as the illegitimate leader of a phony caliphate.
Exposing a glaring hostility between the two jihadi groups, Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of al Qaeda, openly attacks ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi for usurping the jihadi movement.
"We do not acknowledge this Caliphate," he says, according to a translation from SITE Intelligence posted Wednesday. "We do not see Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as one worthy of the Caliphate."
He dismisses al-Baghdadi as a pretender who declared himself caliph with the support of only "a few unknown people," and established ISIS, which calls itself the Islamic State, "by force and with explosions and car bombs," instead of by "the choice of the people" through "approval and consultation."
He also faults al-Baghdadi for failing to support Muslims who are not in the Islamic State's territory...."

We want an Islamic Caliphate IN WHICH THE UMMAH CHOOSES ITS RULERS WITH FREEDOM AND FREE WILL, and swears allegiance to them according to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH), and obeys them ONLY AS LONG AS THEY OBEY ALLAH. We accept (as rulers) those who fulfill the Shari'ah requirements and are chosen by the Ummah on the basis of it's Creator's Book and the Sunnah of its Prophet (PBUH), and we will then gladly be his supporters and aides.
Western media, which has animosity to Islam, and its followers in our own countries' media spread the lies that al-Qaeda wants to usurp from the Ummah its right to choose its rulers, that it wants to impose on it an oppressive and tyrannical rule, that would squander away its rights and this is part of a campaign of lies.
al-Qaeda wants the Ummah to select its rulers through its choice and its consensus and the agreement of its masses.... This is why we say with EXTREME CLARITY to our Muslim Ummah in general and our people in al-Shaam in particular THAT AL-QAEDA IS THE LAST TO WANT TO USURP YOUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHO YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH TO BE YOUR MUSLIM RULER to lead you with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). Abu Bakr (Abdullah ibn Abi Quhafa) (Arabic: عبد الله بن أبي قحافة, Transliteration: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Quḥāfah, c. 573 CE - 634 CE) also known as Abū Bakr as-Șiddīq (Arabic: أبو بكر الصديق) was a senior companion (Sahabi) and the father-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He ruled over the Rashidun Caliphate from 632–634 CE when he became the first Muslim Caliph following Muhammad's death. As Caliph, Abu Bakr succeeded to the political and administrative functions previously exercised by Muhammad, since the religious function and authority of prophethood ended with Muhammad's death according to Islam. He was called Al-Siddiq (The Truthful) and was known by that title among later generations of Muslims.
As a young man, Abu Bakr became a cloth merchant and he traveled extensively in Arabia and neighboring lands in the Middle East, through which he gained both wealth and experience. He eventually came to be recognized as the chief of his clan. On his return from a business trip to Yemen, he was informed that in his absence Muhammad had openly declared his prophethood. Not long after, Abu Bakr accepted Islam and was the first person outside the family of Muhammad to openly become a Muslim. He was instrumental in the conversion of many people to the Islamic faith and early in 623, Abu Bakr's daughter Aisha was married to Muhammad, strengthening the ties between the two men.

Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden (

He was a member of the wealthy Saudi bin Laden family, and an ethnic Yemeni Kindite.
Bin Laden was on the American Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) lists of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and Most Wanted Terrorists for his involvement in the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings. From 2001 to 2011, bin Laden was a major target of the War on Terror, with a US$25 million bounty by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. On May 2, 2011, bin Laden was shot and killed inside a private residential compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, by U.S. Navy SEALs and CIA operatives in a covert operation ordered by United States President Barack Obama.

"In a blistering new message, the leader of al Qaeda denounces the leader of ISIS as the illegitimate leader of a phony caliphate.
Exposing a glaring hostility between the two jihadi groups, Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of al Qaeda, openly attacks ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi for usurping the jihadi movement.

It crushes corruption and supports the oppressed and liberates al-Aqsa and usurped Muslim homes, from Eastern Turkestan to al-Andalus - the Caliphate that will revive the state of Shura and of justice and liberates the Ummah from internal tyranny and external invasions. The Caliphate that we want is a state based on CONSENT and CHOICE and on holding rulers accountable. It will not be based on oppression and tyranny and the usurpation of the rights of the Ummah, and the glorification of individuals and the justification of tyranny. We accept (as rulers) those who fulfill the Shari'ah requirements and are chosen by the Ummah on the basis of it's Creator's Book and the Sunnah of its Prophet (PBUH), and we will then gladly be his supporters and aides.
Western media, which has animosity to Islam, and its followers in our own countries' media spread the lies that al-Qaeda wants to usurp from the Ummah its right to choose its rulers, that it wants to impose on it an oppressive and tyrannical rule, that would squander away its rights and this is part of a campaign of lies.
al-Qaeda wants the Ummah to select its rulers through its choice and its consensus and the agreement of its masses.... Al Qaeda has invited journalists to send questions to its No. 2 figure, Ayman al-Zawahiri, in the first such offer by the increasingly media-savvy terror network to "interview" one of its leaders since the 9-11 attacks.
The invitation is a new twist in al Qaeda's campaign to reach a broader audience, and represents an attempt by al-Zawahiri to present himself as a sophisticated leader rather than a mass murderer.
"I think their media capability is sophisticated as ever," said Bruce Hoffman, a terrorism expert and professor at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. "It shows how this group with 7th century ideology is exploiting 21st century media capabilities."
The advertisement, issued by the group's media arm Al-Sahab on an Islamic militant Web site, invites "individuals, agencies and all media" to submit written questions for al-Zawahiri by sending them to the Web forums where Al-Sahab traditionally posts its messages.
Al-Sahab asked the forums to send it the questions "with no changes or substitutions, no matter whether they agree or disagree (with the question)."
It said it would take questions until Jan. 16, after which al-Zawahiri would answer them "as much as he is able and at the soonest possible occasion." It did not say whether his answers would come in writing, video or audiotape.

Abu Bakr, the fiery 73-year-old leader of Jamaat al Muslimeen, rattles off the many accusations that the government of Trinidad and Tobago has leveled against him.
"Nothing has stuck, because it's fabricated," he continues. "They list all the charges in a book, and they just throw the book at me.... That's not prosecution, that's persecution!"
Bakr has mellowed a bit in his old age, but he still relishes the opportunity to serve as a thorn in the side of the government with whom he has clashed for decades. Depending on which local you ask, "The Jamaat" is either a jihadi group, a vast criminal organization, an invaluable community resource providing jobs and social services to Trinidad's disadvantaged, or a combination of all three.
But everyone agrees that the coup that Bakr led in 1990 — which held the state hostage for six days, unleashed widespread looting and chaos, and resulted in 24 deaths and the shooting of the prime minister — changed the country forever.

Kayla Mueller, the American aid worker who died while being held captive by ISIS, was repeatedly raped by the terror group's leader in Syria, her family confirmed Friday.
U.S. officials told the family in June of the assaults by ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, a representative of Mueller's family told NBC News.
The sexual assaults are the latest outrage by ISIS, which has published graphic videos showing the beheading of captives, among other atrocities. Mueller, a 26-year-old from Prescott, Arizona, was captured by the terror group in Syria in August 2013, and in February the U.S. confirmed she died in ISIS captivity.
The sexual abuse by the ISIS leader was first reported by the Independent newspaper of London.
"They told us that he married her, and we all understand what that means," Carl Mueller, Kayla's father, told The Associated Press.
Her mother, Marsha Mueller, added, "Kayla did not marry this man. He took her to his room and he abused her and she came back crying."
The assaults took place at a home where Mueller was being held along with girls from an Iraqi religious minority group who were also sexually abused, The AP reported.
One of those girls, 14, escaped in October 2014 and, after returning to Iraq, told U.S. officials that al-Baghdadi frequently visited the house and took Mueller as his "wife."
The American officials corroborated her account with other intelligence and passed it on to Mueller's parents, according to the AP.
Mueller was being held by top ISIS operative Abu Sayyaf. "Our understanding she was kept by Sayaff but that she was the 'property of' Baghdadi," the family spokesperson said in a statement to NBC News.

Mueller's parents have chafed at many accounts of her captivity, including assertions that she converted to Islam. Mueller herself wrote in letters in spring 2014 that she was in good health and being treated well. The family has also criticized the U.S. government for moving too slow to try and rescue her.
She was among the U.S. hostages Army Delta Force commandos attempted to rescue in a July 2014 operation in Raqqa.

ISIS emir and newly, self-appointed Caliph for all Muslims blesses mankind with his first public appearance in a video recorded at a mosque in Mosul. In his first appearance, Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi enlightens misguided Muslims and informs them that he too is, in fact, imperfect.
Excerpts from his speech were translated exclusively for Monitor Mideast.
Al Baghdadi's first lecture consists of interpretations he gave to Quranic verses, whilst some other quotes were plagiarized from the first speech held by the first Sunni Caliph, Abu Bakr.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State, emerged from the shadows to lead Friday prayers at Mosul's Great Mosque, calling on the world's Muslims to "obey" him as the head of the caliphate declared by the Sunni jihadist group.
The notoriously secretive jihadi, who has never before been seen in public, chose the first Friday prayer service of Ramadan to make an audacious display of power in the city that Salafist Islamists have now controlled for three weeks.
Speaking from the balcony in his new incarnation as self-anointed "Caliph Ibrahim", al-Baghdadi announced himself as "the leader who presides over you", urging Muslims to join him and "make jihad" for the sake of Allah.
Under his direction, the Islamic world would be returned to "dignity, might, rights and leadership", he said.
"I am the wali (leader) who presides over you, though I am not the best of you, so if you see that I am right, assist me," he said, dressed in a black turban and robe reminiscent of the last caliphs to rule from Baghdad.

نعلن هذا البيان عن إخواننا في بريطانيا وأصحابنا في قافلة الإغاثة الذين سافروا من بريطانيا لإيصال المساعدة الطبية و المواد الإغاثية كالاغطية و المواد الغذائية و سيارات الإسعاف لاخواننا و إخواننا بسوريا.
أسيركم ألان هيننغ سافر معنا لسوريا عدة مرات. في كل مرة صاحب إخوانكم و إخوانكم بالإسلام بالسفر في أمانهم و رعايتهم. لم نخف من الدخول الى سوريا و كذلك الان. كان مثلنا يشعر بالسرور و بالأمان و الاطمئنان بانه لن يتعرض لمكروه ما دام تحت رعايتنا و خصوصا انه قام بالسفر لإيصال الإغاثة لاخواننا و إخواننا الذين هم بأمس الحاجة اليها.
الان تأثر بحالة الشعب السوري المأساوية و خصوصا الأطفال فخصص كل أوقات فراغه لمساعدتهم بجمع الأموال و إبلاغ الآخرين بأحوالهم. فقام بغسيل السيارات لجمع المعونة المالية، و جمع المواد الإغاثية بشتى أنواعها و حدث الجميع عن الجرائم التي تحصل ضد المسلمين في سوريا.
في شهر ديسمبر من السنة الماضية ترك احتفالات الميلاد السنوية مع عائلته حتى يساعد عائلات إخواننا و إخواتنا. سبحان الله، كلنا نتذكر ليلة من رحلتنا الى سوريا عندما شعر بعض الأخوة بالإعياء فقرروا النوم بفندق مريح، اما الان فرفض و نام بالسيارة حتى لا ينفق من الأموال التي رأى ان من الأفضل ان تنفق على إخواننا و أخواتنا. هذا هو ألان، فنعم الرجل ألان، فهو مثلكم و مثلنا، همه الوحيد ان يساعد و يرفع المعاناة عن إخواننا و أخواتنا في سوريا.
نحن نناشدكم بان لا تأخذوا حياته عوضا عن الجرائم التي ترتكبها الحكومات العالمية. لقد تجاهل الان نصيحة حكومته - و التي هي حكومة ديفيد كاميرون- و تحمل مشاق و خطورة السفر لسوريا لمساعدة الشعب السوري. نحن نحزن كل يوم من اجل إخواننا و أخواتنا في سوريا و هم يقتلون بالغارات الجوية التي تقوم بها الحكومات الدولية. و لكن الان بريء من هذه الجرائم و ليس له اي أهداف او انتماآت سياسية. و لقد أظهرت أعماله و نشاطاته حبه لاخواننا و أخواتنا و خوفه عليهم. هو ليس عدوا للإسلام و حتى للدولة الاسلامية.
نحن نناشدكم و نترجاكم و نرجوكم بان تعطفوا على ألان و ترحموه كما عامل المسلمين بالعطف و الرحمة.
لقد رزقكم الله عز و جل بمركز جليل حيث تستطيعون ان تنفذوا حياة إنسان بريء. نحن نترجاكم و نرجوكم بان تحكموا بالعدل و الإنصاف و ان تعاملوه بالرحمة التي وضعها الله في قلوب المسلمين- و في قلوبكم.
لقد وعدنا الان الأمان و السلامة و كمسلمين نطلب منكم باسمكم أميرا للدولة الاسلامية بان تعين إخوانك بالسلام على رعاية العهد و الأمان الذي أعطيناه لآلان.
نرجوا منكم ان تروا العالم جميعا رحمة المسلمين. الرجاء،الرجاء إطلاق سراح ألان.

لقد رزقكم الله عز و جل بمركز جليل حيث تستطيعون ان تنفذوا حياة إنسان بريء. نحن نترجاكم و نرجوكم بان تحكموا بالعدل و الإنصاف و ان تعاملوه بالرحمة التي وضعها الله في قلوب المسلمين- و في قلوبكم.
لقد وعدنا الان الأمان و السلامة و كمسلمين نطلب منكم باسمكم أميرا للدولة الاسلامية بان تعين إخوانك بالسلام على رعاية العهد و الأمان الذي أعطيناه لآلان.
