About your subscription
- When can I expect the Monthly in the mail?
-
We publish 11 issues a year, from February to December. The December issue is a bumper summer reading special, so you will not receive an issue in January.
We send out issues to subscribers the week before they go on sale to the public, so you’ll always be first to know what’s in the magazine. Generally your copy will arrive by the start of the month, though if you do not live in a major city it may be later.
- My issue did not arrive in the mail. What can I do?
-
We may have an incorrect address on file, or your subscription may have expired. If you have an account at themonthly.com.au, you can login and update your details or renew your subscription.
If delivery problems persist, please contact us so that we can investigate.
- Does the Monthly have an app for my device? Do I need to use it?
-
themonthly.com.au is designed for ease of reading on all kinds of devices, including your iPhone, iPad, or Android or Windows phone. We also have an app for iPhones and iPads.
- I would like to read the Monthly offline, but you don’t have an app for my device. What can I do?
-
For offline reading we recommend the print edition. If that’s not an option for you, we publish each issue as an eBook. After you have subscribed you can download the latest issue.
- Can I be notified when there is a new issue?
-
Yes, we send an email newsletter every month with highlights from the issue. To stay up to date with new online articles and blog posts, follow us on twitter @themonthly or like us on Facebook.
- When does the Monthly publish new content?
-
At the start of each month, subscribers receive the new print edition. Soon after, it goes on sale in newsagents and booksellers, and the issue’s content becomes available to subscribers online at themonthly.com.au. We add new blog posts and video content throughout the month, and every weekday we publish two essential bulletins:
PoliticOz, a daily dose of political analysis with a collection of the most important stories of the day, and the Shortlist Daily, a selection of the best reads from around the world.
- How do I renew my subscription?
-
Log in to themonthly.com.au and visit your account page to view your subscription(s), and choose the one you’d like to renew.
At present, gift subscriptions cannot be renewed through themonthly.com.au. Please contact us to renew a gift subscription.
