"That'll be the saddle." - Channel Four adverts & Continuity, October 1994
The last commercial break in Forbidden Planet opens with a whimsical advert for milk. This was the last campaign before the Milk Marketing Board was privatised, apparently because it was there. In fact, this might well be the last ADVERT before privatisation, as it went into effect two days later (as pointed out by your actual Robin Carmody). The MMB had already effectively ceased to be in all but name and vestigial tail, although it wasn't dissolved outright until 2002. Unfortunately, it could be about bloody anything because the sound temporarily goes for a burton. At first I thought it was deliberate for effect - an advert for hearing aids, or ear surgery, or quietness or something - but no, it's actually the DSS, meaning Red here is trying to promote some damn benefit or other ...

A Visit To The Theatre
Paddingotn's first visit to the theatre is marked by a marmalade mishap and a near-row over some opera glasses. To top off the evening, Paddington takes the night's performance a little too seriously and sneaks backstage to give the lead a piece of his mind.
