OSUMB Ohio State Marching Band Halftime Country AND Western 9 28 2013 OSU vs Wisconsin TBDBITL
The Ohio State University Marching Band performed a halftime show named "Country AND Western" on 9/28/2013 at the Ohio State vs. Wisconsin football game. The music includes "Better Dig Two'" "Ghost Riders in the Sky'" "Ring of Fire'", "Wagon Wheel'" "Dueling Banjos'" "The Magnificent Seven'", and a sing-along, "Happy Trails." The field formations included a remarkable bucking bull and rider, a spinning wagon wheel, and a steam locomotive moving across the field in pursuit of Snidely Whiplash, complete with spinning wheels and moving side rods (the rods that connect the drive wheels.) Big hats, two tombstones with Michigan and Wisconsin for monikers, a Ring of Fire, a Cactus and moon, and a rather large steer head, and other neat stuff, too. In addition, Ross Runyon on trumpet is one "Banjo" dueling Nick Ater, a Sousa player, the other "Banjo" in "Dueling Banjos." A classic show.- published: 29 Sep 2013

OSUMB 9 7 2013 Game Show Halftime Show Are You Smarter Than A Wolverine OSU vs SD State
The Ohio State University Marching Band performs their "Game Show" halftime show, "Are You Smarter Than A Wolverine?" at the OSU vs. San Diego State football game on September 7, 2013. This show was learned with only 4 days of practice, again demonstrating that the OSUMB is TBDBITL (The Best Damn Band In The Land.) The game show vignettes, complete with Buckeye and Wolverine contestants, include "The Price is Right", "Family Fued", "Wheel of Fortune", and "Jeopardy", and even Alex Trebek chimes in. You know who wins... superior brains and braun always does. Hint, the right answer to "GO_B___" is GO BUCKS, not GO BLUE. Every year, the OSUMB Alumni Band marches in pre-game and halftime at a game early in the season with the current OSUMB. This year, over 641 OSUMB alumni marched. Add in the current OSUMB members and fans were entertained by an 835+ piece brass and percussion band. This was the 45th reunion for the Alumni members of TBDBITL.
