Tora Harris - High Jump 2.33m 1st Place (7-7.75)
2006 USA Outdoor Championships High Jump 2.33m (7-07.75) As we entered the call room, the rain came down hard. There was thunder and lightening at that moment. The meet was postponed...for 6hours! We waited indoors not knowing when the meet would restart or if it would ever restart. Finally they gave us word to starting warming up again and the meet started. It was still wet but getting dryer as the meet went on. By the last jumps we were all dead tired. I had no power to keep jumping after 2.33m. I was starting to cramp up on the last jumps so I had to quit after winning.
