♥ ♥ ♥ READ ME PLEASE ♥ ♥ ♥ [Available in HD] Hey pandas! Hope you guys had an amazing holiday season! It's crazy how quickly a year passes us by! I posted something on Instagram that I wanted to share with you guys here... Call it my 2014 reflection... It's crazy how fast 365 days pass us by, and inevitable to look back at the time that has left us. It's easy to focus on the hardships we endured, or the things we didn't get or accomplish... call me naïve or ignorant, but I think we can learn from everything that happens to us - good or bad. This year I learned that daily happiness is a choice. A daily choice. Something that I MUST decide every day. I also learned that people's opinion of me, or you, or you shouldn't matter, unless *that person* matters to you. Renting space in our heads is expensive- only lease it out to those who care about you. Another thing that I learned is that it's never a good idea to wrestle with the pigs on social media. We both get dirty, but the pig likes it. The last thing I learned is that the best most precious gift we can give our loved ones is our time and attention- the one thing that can't be bought. Whether it's making eye contact during a conversation, taking the time to say 'thank you', sending a quick 'I miss you' text, or playing an extra ten minutes of playdoh. The biggest thing I need to work on is avoiding burn out. I've lived full throttle since high school and find it so hard to not put so much time and effort into everything I do. I may not have any major plans or resolutions for 2015, but what I do know is that I plan on wearing a smile, speaking words of kindness, practicing patience, and laughing whenever possible.
