William Wendell "Billy" Gilman III (born May 24, 1988) is an American country music artist. In 2000, at the age of 11, he debuted with the single "One Voice," a Top 20 hit on the Billboard country music charts and became the youngest singer to a Top 40 hit on the country music charts. An album of the same name was released later that year on Epic Records, and was certified Double Platinum in the United States. Following it was a Christmas album Classic Christmas and Dare to Dream, both of which were certified gold. He exited Epic's roster and signed to Image Entertainment in 2005 releasing Everything and More. In 2006, he released the self-titled Billy Gilman.
William Wendell Gilman III was born on May 24, 1988, in Westerly, Rhode Island, he was raised in Hope Valley, Rhode Island. Gilman began singing before he was in school, and gave his first public performance at age 7. At the age of 9, Gilman was discovered by Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel, who helped him record demos. Gilman was then signed to Epic Records Nashville in 2000.
When the night is still
And the sea is calm
Lonely shadow, you call upon me
Lay by my side
Fear not tonight
Lonely shadow, you'll find a new light
Dream a dream
And see through angel's eyes
A place where we can fly away
Ride with me upon a shining star,
Above the moonlit sky
We will find Elysium
Hear the nightingale
Sing a lullaby
Lonely shadow, you'll find a new light
Dawn will be kind,
All will be bright,
Lonely shadow, rise from the darkness
Dream a dream, [etc.]
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yule-tide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos
Everybody knows a turkey
And some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way
He's loaded lots of toys
And goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly
And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although it's been said
Many times, many ways
Merry Christmas to you.
I like wearing watches
Lots and lots of watches
For two reasons
First
If they are all set a little different
If they are all set a little different
No one's ever too late
Or too early or right on time
They just "are"
Watches, watches
No one's ever too late
Or too early or right on time
They just "are"
No one's ever too late
Or too early or right on time
They just "are"
No one's ever too late
Or too early or right on time
They just "are"
They just are, they just are
I like wearing watches
Lots and lots of watches
For two reasons
Second reason,
With all these watches on me
It's like having "all the time in the world"
And never having to think about the end of time
Or about dying
With all these watches on me
It's like having "all the time in the world"
And never having to think about the end of time
Or about dying
When you're down and troubled
and you need a helping hand
and nothing, whoa nothing is going right.
Close your eyes and think of me
and soon I will be there
to brighten up even your darkest nights.
You just call out my name,
and you know wherever I am
I'll come running, oh yeah baby
to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
all you have to do is call
and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You've got a friend.
If the sky above you
should turn dark and full of clouds
and that old north wind should begin to blow
Keep your head together and call my name out loud
and soon I will be knocking upon your door.
You just call out my name and you know where ever I am
I'll come running to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer or fall
all you got to do is call
and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hey, ain't it good to know that you've got a friend?
People can be so cold.
They'll hurt you and desert you.
Well they'll take your soul if you let them.
Oh yeah, but don't you let them.
You just call out my name and you know wherever I am
I'll come running to see you again.
Oh babe, don't you know that,
Winter spring summer or fall,
Hey now, all you've got to do is call.
Lord, I'll be there, yes I will.
You've got a friend.
You've got a friend.
Ain't it good to know you've got a friend.
Ain't it good to know you've got a friend.
You've got a friend.
Don't you love the mornings
When you go outside and there on the ground
Is a fresh perfect green leaf
A leaf floating from the quiet summer trees
just resting on the grass and waiting to be discovered
Touch the treasure
And pick it up gently
And feel the excitement
Of a new leaf with no tears
No marks no holes
It is the sign of healing and future
Don't you just love the mornings
If you ever forget to remember
This night and all that is meant
If you ever can't see
What you meant to me
Let me remind you again
If you ever look and can't find me
Your heart will know where I've been
If you memory slips
And you can't feel this kiss
Let me remind you again
We'll always have this moment
It belongs to the two of us
And I only pray
That every day
We'll always remember
The way it was
So let's make this night last forever
Who says all good things must end
And when we're old and gray
And memories fade
I'll still be loving you then
And I will remind you again
And when we're old and gray
And memories fade
I'll still be loving you then
And I will remind you again
Roly Poly - gnawin' on a biscuit
Hungry every minute of the day
Roly Poly - eatin' corn and 'taters
Long as he can chew it it's OK
He can eat an apple pie
And never even bat an eye
He likes everything from soup to hay
Roly Poly, daddy's little fattie
Bet he's gonna be a man someday
Roly Poly - scrambled eggs for breakfast
Bread and jelly twenty times a day
Roly Poly - eats a hearty dinner
It takes lots of strength to run and play
Pulls up weeds and does the chores
and runs both ways to all the stores
He works up an appetite that way
Roly Poly, daddy's little fattie
Bet he's gonna be a man someday
Roly Poly daddy's little fattie
Bet he's gonna be a man someday
He rocks in the tree tops all day long
Hoppin' and a-boppin' and singing his song
All the little birdies on Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet
Rockin' robin, rock rock
Rockin' robin'
Blow rockin' robin
'Cause we're really gonna rock tonight
Every little swallow, every chick-a-dee
Every little bird in the tall oak tree
The wise old owl, the big black crow
Flappin' their wings singing go bird go
Rockin' robin, rock rock
Rockin' robin'
Blow rockin' robin
'Cause we're really gonna rock tonight
Yeah yeah
Pretty little raven at the bird-band stand
Told them how to do the bob and it was grand
They started going steady and bless my soul
He out-bopped the buzzard and the oriol
He rocks in the tree tops all day long
Hoppin' and a-boppin' and singing his song
All the little birdies on Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet
Rockin' robin, rock rock
Rockin' robin'
Blow rockin' robin
'Cause we're really gonna rock tonight
Pretty little raven at the bird-band stand
Told them how to do the bob and it was grand
They started going steady and bless my soul

I think she likes me
And I know I like her
It's kind of frightening
'Cause it's too soon to be sure
I think she likes me
Maybe even might be love
Should I be patient
Or should I ask her straight out
That smile she gave me
Don't leave too much room for doubt
I think she likes me
Maybe even might be love
Our first kiss said more than good night
I bet I've relived it a thousand times
I can't predict what the future's gonna bring
But those looks that she's been giving me
Can only mean one thing
I think she likes me
I think she might be the one
And more than likely
The best is still yet to come
I think she likes me
New York, New York, is everything they say
And no place that I'd rather be
Where else can you do a half a million things
All at a quarter to three
When they play their music, ooh that modern music
They like it with a lot of style
But it's still that same old back beat rhythm
That really drives 'em wild
They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating
And from what I've seen I believe 'em
Now the old boy may be barely breathing
But the heart of rock and roll is still beating
LA, Hollywood, and the Sunset Strip
Is something everyone should see
Neon lights and the pretty pretty girls
All dressed so scantily
When they play their music
That hard rock music
They like it with a lot of flash
But it's still that same old back beat rhythm
That really kicks 'em in the
They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating
And from what I've seen I believe 'em
Now the old boy may be barely breathing
But the heart of rock and roll is still beating
DC, San Antone and the Liberty Town, Boston and Baton Rouge
Tulsa, Austin, Oklahoma City, Seattle, San Francisco, too
Everywhere there's music, real live music, bands with a million styles
But it's still that some old rock and roll music
that really drives 'em wild
They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating
And from what I've seen I believe 'em
Now the old boy may be barely breathing
But the heart of rock and roll is still beating
I was all right for a while
I could smile for a while
But I saw you last night
You held my hand so tight
As you stopped to say Hello
Ah you wished me well
You couldn't tell
That I've been cryin' over you
Cryin' over you
Then you said So long
Left me standin' all alone
Alone and cryin' (cryin')
Cryin' (cryin'), cryin' (cryin'), cryin'
It's hard to understand
That the touch of your hand
Can start me cryin'
I thought that I was over you
But it's true, so true
I love you even more than I did before
But darlin' what can I do
You don't love me and I'll always be
Cryin' over you, cryin' over you
Yes, now you're gone
And from this moment on
I'll be cryin' (cryin')
Cryin' (cryin'), cryin' (cryin'), cryin'
I'm cryin', cryin' over you
Ben, the two of us need look no more
We both found what we were looking for
With a friend to call my own
I'll never be alone
And you my friend will see
You've got a friend in me
Ben, you're always running here and there
You feel you're not wanted anywhere
If you ever look behind
And don't like what you find
There's something you should know
You've got a place to go
I used to say
I and me
Now it's us
Now it's we
I used to say
I and me
Now it's us
Now it's we
Ben, most people would turn you away
I don't listen to a word they say
They don't see you as I do
I wish they would try to
I'm sure they'd think again
If they had a friend like Ben
Like Ben
Like Ben
Yeah yeah, hey yeah
Hey hey, what do ya say
Ive got you, it's a brand new day
Aint nothing gonna bring me down
And if we stick together like crazy glue
As long as you've got me baby, I got you
Theres no stopping us now
And when it's dark, when its cold
When you're scared and alone
I'll be there by your side
An thats all you need to know
These are the reasons that we love
And baby my love you can be sure of
I got your back when the odds are stacked
Against us you will see
This is a promise I will make
You can always count on me
You can always count on me
Relax, if we get off track
I'll take the wheel and steer us back
I'm looking out for you, yeah
And even if we don't see eye to eye
We can still share peace with the big blue sky
That's what best friends do, yeah
And when you're down, when you're out
Call my name, scream it out
I'll be there, don't forget
That's what friendship is all about
And these are the reasons that we love
And baby my love you can be sure of
I got your back when the odds are stacked
Against us you will see
This is a promise I'll make
You can always count on me
You can always count on me
Cause you make me smile, and you make me laugh
I will catch your fall when you need a hand
You won't ever have to wait, let's go
Yeah
These are the reasons that we love
The reasons we love, yeah
And baby my love you can be sure of
I got your back when the odds are stacked
Against us you will see
This is a promise I'll make
These are the reasons
You can always count on me
These are the reasons
These are the reasons that we love
This is a promise I will make, yeah
And baby my love you can be sure of
I got you babe
I got your back when the odds are stacked
Against us you will see
Against us you will see, yeah
This is a promise that I'll make
The reasons that we love
You can always count on me
This is the promise that I'll make, yeah
You can always count on me
These are the reasons, yeah
You can always count on me
M y love you can be sure of, yeah
You can always count on me
I got your back, yeah baby
Yeah yea
Wooh
These are the reasons we love
These are the reasons, yeah
You're flying loose and I'm losing ground with you
Want you to stay cause I can't follow you
You know I'll wait forever if you want me to
It's not your talkin I know it's who you're talking to
Missed you on Sunday cause you weren't there
Saw you on Monday with purple hair
No matter what you do you'll find me there
Missing you on Sunday
Our number one day
Yeah I'm missing the answer to my prayers
I see you walking through the danger zone
That's not the way I used to walk you home
Don't wanna hold you back
I'd let you go alone
And pray that someday you'll come back on your own
Missed you on Sunday cause you weren't there
I saw you on Monday with purple hair
No matter what you do you'll find me there
Missing you on Sunday
Our number one day
Yeah I'm missing the answers to my prayers
Some people say I'm such a fool to wait for you
But I can't close the gates through the heaven we once knew
Life's such a mystery
Always been clear to me
When you're around I see the sun come shining through
No matter what you do you'll find me there
Missing you on Sunday
Our number one day
Yeah I'm missing the answer to my -
I missed you on Sunday cause you weren't there
I saw you on Monday with purple hair
No matter what you do you'll find me there
Missing you on Sunday
Our number one day
There was always the voice of an angel
In the sweet lullaby of my dreams
Who would sing me a song made in heaven
That would awaken the music in me
You gave my life such meaning
Shined light upon my soul
And you were always there to hold
When I come to the end of tomorrows
And I look back on all of my days
I imagine I'm here beside you
And we're talking our usual way
And we will dance
We will sing
Still amazed by everything
And we will dance
And we will sing
We're still amazed by everything
The simple joys that life can bring
The songs you taught me how to sing
And yes we will sing them again
In my heart they'll never end
When I'm lost I pray that I can find you
When the darkness seems to hide the light
When I'm up I know I'm flying with you
All the things I love are all because of you
Because of you
You were always the one with the courage
Taught me all that I needed to know
When I needed a shoulder to cry on
You would reach out a hand I could hold
Your strength and all your kindness
Became a part of me
And I would always try to be
I'll be the me you hoped I'd always be
We will dance
We will sing
Still amazed by everything
And we will dance
And we will sing
We're still amazed by everything
The simple joys that life can bring
The songs you taught me how to sing
And yes we will sing them again
In my heart they'll never end
In your eyes I always see my future
In your smile I see the reason for my ways
In your voice I know the truth has meaning
When you sing to me I hear your heart speak to me
There was always the voice of an angel
In the sweet lullaby of my dreams
Who would sing me a song made in heaven
That would awaken the music in me
(awaken the music, awaken the music)
One of my greatest fears is "It."
I can't touch "it," but I can feel "it."
It does not have a taste or smell,
But I can hear it in my spirit
It is deep inside of me,
It makes me fear my memory
One day I'll live peacefully,
Without the fear of "It"
It is something I can't see
It can never possess me
It always tries to take control
I can defeat it if I believe it
It keeps running through my mind,
I have to fight it time and time
And time and time and time
And time again...
The more I understand about it
The less my world revolves around it
Then I can just live out my life
Our eyes are for looking at things
But they are also for crying
When we are very happy or cery sad
Our ears are for listening
But so are our hearts
So are our hearts
Our noses are for smelling food
But also the wind and the grass and
If we try very hard, butterflies
Our hands are for feeling
But also for hugging and touching so gently
Our mouths and tongues are for tasting
But also for saying words, like
"I love you," and
There's some things I know to be true
Snow is white, and the ocean is blue
Rain is wet, and it falls from the sky
And the stars come out every night
And just as sure as the sun will rise
This love is real, you see in my eyes
Plant a seed and it will grow
Some things I know
There's some things in life I need
Water to drink, air to breathe
A place to rest when I need sleep
When I'm hungry, food to eat
As sure as I need the Lord above
That's how much I need her love
And I need shelter from the cold
Some things I know
There's some things in life I want
To be thankful for all I've got
A friend to talk with, a hand to hold
To still be young when I grow old
And I want all my dreams to come true
And I want to share them all with you
And I just had to tell you so
Some things I know
Oh, I just had to tell you so
Memories are a great gift
Memories are given to us by God
As a keepsake and a treasure
Memories allow us to call upon the past
Memories can teach us
About what things are good to repeat
Memories they warn us
About what things should never
Be allowed to happen again
Memories are a gift of the past
That we hold in the present
To create what can be a great future
Treasure and keep memories
For the sake of
For the sake of
For the sake of life
For the sake of
For the sake of
For the sake of life
Memories offer us opportunities
To laugh, or to cry
Memories offer us opportunities
To smile, or to reminisce
Memories can teach us
About what things are good to repeat
Memories they warn us
About what things should never
Be allowed to happen again
Memories are a gift of the past
That we hold in the present
To create what can be a great future
Treasure and keep memories
For the sake of
For the sake of
For the sake of life
For the sake of
For the sake of
For the sake of life
If we oupen our mind
Memories allow and offer
And help and support
And teach and warn about life
Memories can teach us
About what things are good to repeat
Memories they warn us
About what things should never
Be allowed to happen again
Memories are a gift of the past
That we hold in the present
To create what can be a great future
Treasure and keep memories
For the sake of
For the sake of
For the sake of life
For the sake of

My heart skips a beat when I watch her go by
I don't know if she knows if I'm even alive
I'd love to ask her out, but there's too many people around
I've got to make it to summer
I want to drift on that ocean-blue in her eyes
On a blanket of sand
Holding her hand
While the lonely people go by
I've got to make it to summer
I want to tell her the things that I'm feeling inside
And if I get the chance, I know I'm gonna make her mine
Yeah
I'm stuck in my room while the snow starts to fall
I'm lost in big poster there on my wall
I'd love to see her there with the golden sun in her hair
I've got to make it to summer
I want to drift on that ocean-blue in her eyes
On a blanket of sand
Holding her hand
While the lonely people go by
I've got to make it to summer
I want to tell her the things that I'm feeling inside
And if I get the chance, I know I'm gonna make her mine
Yeah
I've got to make it to summer
I want to drift on that ocean-blue in her eyes
On a blanket of sand
Holding her hand
While the lonely people go by
I've got to make it to summer
I want to tell her the things that I'm feeling inside
And if I get the chance, I know I'm gonna make her mine
And if I get the chance, I know I'm gonna make her mine
I instantly knew when I saw you
You and I would be forever
Hearts never apart true from the start
To each other and together
There's nothing we can't do
And until the end of time
If you tell me you'll be mine
I'm Never gonna spend another night
Without you in my dreams
For the rest of my life
I'm gonna reach out to you honestly and try
To give you what you need
With all of my might
'Cause nothing has ever felt so real and so right
I'm never gonna spend another night
(without you)
You are so in my heart
Even alone in the dark I can feel the light of our love shining
We are so meant to be
That we're definitely destiny
And there's no denying
That I love you
Though it's so cliche
There's nothing else to say
I'm Never gonna spend another night
Without you in my dreams
For the rest of my life I'm gonna reach out to you honestly and try
To give you what you need
With all of my might
No love has ever felt so real and so right
I'm never gonna spend another night
Some kids have and some kids don't
And some of us are wondering why
And Mom won't watch the news at night
There's too much stuff that's making her cry
We need some help
Down here on Earth
A thousand prayers, a million words
But one voice was heard
A house, a yard, a neighborhood
Where you can ride your new bike to school
A kind of world where Mom and Dad
Still believe the golden rule
Life's not that simple
Down here on Earth
A thousand prayers, a million words
But one voice was heard
One voice, one simple word
Hearts know what to say
One dream can change the world
Keep believing till you find a way
Yesterday while walking home
I saw some kid on Newbury road
He pulled a pistol from his bag
And tossed it in the river below
Thanks for the help
Down here on Earth
A thousand prayers, a million words
But one voice was heard
One voice was heard
One voice was heard
Little things that you do
Make me glad I'm in love with you
Little things that you say
Make me glad that I feel this way.
The way you smile, the way you hold my hand
And when I'm down you always understand.
You know I love those little things that I knew
The little things you whispered in my ear.
I know there ain't nobody else like you.
No one could do the little things you do.
Little things in my ear that you say
When there's no one near.
Little things that you do
Let me know that your love is true.
When we walk you like to hold my hand
And when we talk you tell me I'm your man.
You know I love those little things that I knew
The little things you whispered in my ear.
I know there ain't nobody else like you.
No one could do the little things you do.
Little things that you do
Make me glad I'm in love with you.
Little things that you say
Make me glad that I feel this way.
When we walk you like to hold my hand
And when we talk you tell me I'm your man.
You know I love those little things that I knew
The little things you whispered in my ear.
I know there ain't nobody else like you.

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air
What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell,
Away in a manger, no crib for his bed
The little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head
The stars in the sky looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay.
The cattle are lowing,
The poor baby wakes,
But little Lord Jesus
No crying He makes;
I love thee, Lord Jesus,
Look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle till mornight is nigh
Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask thee to stay
Close by me forever and love me, I pray!
Bless all the dear children in thy tender care
Angels we have on heard high
Sweetly singing ore the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains
Gloria in excelsis Deo
Gloria in excelsis Deo
Come to Bethlehem and see
Christ whose birth the angels sing
Come adore on bended knee
Christ the Lord the newborn King
Gloria in excelsis Deo
Gloria in excelsis Deo
See him in a manger laid
Whom the choirs of angels praise
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid
While our hearts in love we raise
Gloria in excelsis Deo
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent night, holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heav'nly host sing Allelluia
Christ the savior is born
Christ the savior is born
Silent night, holy night
Wondrous star, lend thy light
With the angels let us sing
Alleluia to our King
Christ the savior is here
Christ the savior is here
Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord at Thy birth
Rocking around the Christmas tree
At the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see
Every couple tries to stop
Rocking around the Christmas tree,
Let the Christmas spirit ring
Later we'll have some pumpkin pie
And we'll do some caroling.
You will get a sentimental
Feeling when you hear
Voices singing let's be jolly,
Deck the halls with boughs of holly
Rocking around the Christmas tree,
Have a happy holiday
Oh holy night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appear'd and the soul felt its worth
The thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
Oh hear the angel voices
Oh night divine
Oh night when Christ was born
Oh night divine
Oh night divine
The thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
Oh hear the angel voices
Oh night divine
Oh night when Christ was born
Oh night divine
When I'm walkin' by myself
Along the path that I should follow
I can see one reason why
I'm happy I can face tomorrow
No ones gonna change my mind
I'm gonna let my spirits climb
As high as I can go I feel this way because I know
There's something 'bout heaven
That brings you down to Earth
Here in the moment with chapter and verse
Oh we talk about living life for all it's worth
It's heaven on Earth sharing my life with you
Suddenly I'm in a place
I've never been and see no danger
All you said was walk with me
And you will never be a stranger
All the world is here for me
I opened up my eyes to see it
That's the way I see it
And its all because of you
Oh there's something 'bout heaven
That brings you down to Earth
Here in the moment with chapter and verse
Oh we talk about livin' life for all its worth
It's heaven on Earth sharing my life with you
Oh it's heaven on Earth (on Earth)
Sharing my life with you
I am free cause I can see so far beyond the here and now
Knowing heaven waits for me just clears it up for me somehow
Everything I see and hear with everything you touch it's clear
You are with me everywhere you never let me down
Cause there's something bout heaven
That brings you down to Earth
Here in the moment with chapter and verse
Oh it's all about living life for all its worth
It's heaven on Earth sharing my life with you
Oh there's something 'bout heaven
Oh here in the moment
All the guys have gone blind from starin'
My baby, she ain't even carin'
And they're crazy if they think I'm sharin'
'Cause I know what they're after
And nobody else can have her 'cause she's
My girl, a walkin' talkin' angel baby
My girl, not a minute goes by when she ain't looking pretty
My girl, a 24-7 piece of heaven
God never made another in this world
Quite like my girl
Oh, oh, quite like my girl
Her eyes are shining like big blue diamonds
It's a cukoo kind of love, ain't no denying
When I kiss her lips, I feel like flying
Man, she's something else
And I've got her all to myself 'cause she's
My girl, a walkin' talkin' angel baby
My girl, not a minute goes by when she ain't looking pretty
My girl, a 24-7 piece of heaven
God never made another in this world
Quite like my girl
The way she moves, the way she grooves
You know she drives me wild with her wild-child smile
Planets align when she's holdin' me tight
Blowing my mind, it's such a ride
I can't get enough
My girl, a walkin' talkin' angel baby
My girl, not a minute goes by when she ain't looking pretty
My girl, a 24-7 piece of heaven
God never made another in this world
Quite like my girl
Oh oh, quite like my girl
Oh yeah, she's lookin' pretty
My girl, a walkin' talkin' angel baby
My girl
My girl, a walkin' talkin' angel baby
Can't you hear your heart it's talking to your brain
A little voice inside you keeps calling out her name
You can only lose if
You start to hesitate
So why ignore an open door
Showing you the way
A heart can't shake it
When it feels that rush
A heart can't fake it
When it needs that touch
A magic potion, locomotion
You can't ever stop
A heart can't take it when
She's everything you want
You can't stop your feet from
Walking to her door
Everytime you leave her
You keep on wanting more
You think you're in control but
Who're you trying to kid
When you're on your knees, begging please
Give me one more kiss
A heart can't shake it
When it feels that rush
A heart can't fake it
When it needs that touch
A magic potion, locomotion
You can't ever stop
A heart can't take it when
She's everything you want
She's everything, she's everything, she's everything you need
She's everything, she's everything, she's all you ever dreamed
Can't play it cool, acting like a fool
When you're trying to deny
You'd do anything, everything
To be by her side
A heart can't shake it
When it feels that rush
A heart can't fake it
When it needs that touch
A magic potion, locomotion
You can't ever stop
Well a heart can't take it when
She's everything you want
A heart can't take it when

Santa.com, here I come
Santa.com, here I come
Santa.com, here I come
Santa.com, let Rudolph run
Santa.com, here I come
Santa.com, here I come
Santa.com, here I come
Santa.com, let Rudolph run
Santa.com, here I come
Santa.com, here I come
Santa.com, here I come
You know Dasher and Dancer
And Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid
And Donner and Blitzen.
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
Rudolph with your nose so bright
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?
Then all the reindeer loved him
And they shouted out with glee
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
Knocked on his door last night
He should have been there
I waited till 6pm
Lord I'm worrying again
Said he messed up something real bad
Whatever it is I'll be there
I'll pray for him
Hope he's all right
Feels like he's all alone
Against the world tonight
But he's gone away Lord
Help me pray for him
Told him he's got to believe
There's a lot to believe in
Doesn't think he's good enough
Says it doesn't matter much
Well if I were walking in his shoes
He'd be there for me
He'd know what to do
I'll pray for him
Hope he's all right
Feels like he's all alone against the world tonight
But he's gone away Lord
Help me pray for him
Well I've done everything I can do
I leave it in your hands
Lord it's up to you
I'll pray for him
Hope he's all right
Feels like he's all alone against the world tonight
But he's gone away Lord
Help me pray for him
Oh pray for him
Hope he's all right
Feels like he's all alone against the world tonight
But he's gone away Lord
Help me pray Lord
For he's gone away Lord
Is this my bed?
What's going on in my head?
I feel so different today
I have this image of you
My freedom, my courage, the strength I never knew
I found the answer through you
Discover the glory of living through you
You taught me so much
Your words lift me up
I'm not me anymore
I'm all of us and a part of you
I'm not me anymore
I am here for you
With every beat of my heart
I come closer to you
I have this vision of you
My kindness, my faith I attribute to you
I share my secrets with you
You taught me forgiveness with all that you do
To have someone to trust
Can change you so much
And I'm not me anymore
I'm all of us and a part of you
I'm not me anymore
Well I am here for you
With every beat of my heart
I come closer to you
Closer than I've ever been
To knowing your love never ends
And even when my heart is aching
Knowing that you'll take me in and love me again
I'm not me anymore
I'm all of us and a part of you
I'm not me anymore
Well I am here for you
With every beat of my heart
I've got a secret I can't keep
I've got my eyes on something sweet
It feels like my heart's pounding through my chest
You've got a smile I can't resist
I get tongue tied, everytime you and I are close like this
Girl, here's my wish
I wanna get to ya
I wanna be the one that moves ya
I wanna give my heart to ya
I want you so much
Girl I know just what I've been missing
I wanna be the one you're kissin'
So open up your arms and listen
I wanna get to ya
I'm the kind of guy who understands
A simple little thing like holding hands
Or x's and o's on a love note sent to you
I'll make you a promise that I'll keep
I'm telling you, right here, right now
I'll get down on my knees
I'll do anything
I wanna get to ya
I wanna be the one that moves ya
I wanna give my heart to ya
I want you so much
Girl I know just what
I've been missing
I wanna be the one you're kissin'
So open up your arms and listen
I wanna get to ya
The way I feel
I know this love is real
I am black, I am white
I am all skins in between
I am young, I am old
I am each age that has been
I am scrawny, I am well fed
I am starving for attention
I am famous, I am cryptic
I am hardly worth the mention
I am short, I am height
I am any frame or stature
I am smart, I am challenged
I am striving for a future
The color of shy
Is blues and grays
The color of earth
Is greens and browns
The color of hop
Is rainbows and purple
And the color of peace
Is people together
Shades of life
I am
I am able, I am weak
I am some strength, I am none
I am being, I am thought
I am all things, said and done
I am born, I am died
I am dust of humble roots
I am grace, I am pain
I am labor of winned fruites
I am slave, I am free
I am bonded to my life
I am rich, I am poor
I am wealth amid strife
I am shadow, I am glory
I am hiding from my shame
I am hero, I am loser
I am yearning for a name
I am empty, I am proud
I am seaking my tomorrow
I am growing, I am fading
I am hope amid the sorrow
I am vertain, I am doubtful
I am desperate for solutions
I am leader, I am student
I am fate and evolutions
I am spirit, I am voice
I am memory, not recalled
I am chance, I am cause
I am effort blocked and walled
I am hymn, I am heard
I am reasoned without rhymes
I am past, I am nearing
I am present in all times
I am many, I am no one
I am seasoned by each being
I am me, I am you
When I see the stars hang in the sky, oh
When I watch a bird spread its wings and fly
And each time I hear the wind blow through the trees, oh
With every breath of air that I breath
All the things I can't see
Still inside I believe
In a baby's laugh
In a mother's eyes
Little miracles around us
Every day of our lives
The way the sun lights up the dark
The hope that I feel in my heart
And as far as I can tell
God's alive and well
Yeah, God's alive and well
Just like the Earth cradles the moon, oh
How that far-away sun still makes the flowers bloom
And the joy only heaven can bring to a soul, oh
If trouble comes, I am safe in the hands
'Cause I know there's a plan
My heart understands
In a baby's laugh
In a mother's eye's
Little miracles around us
Every day of our lives
The way the sun lights up the dark
The hope that I feel in my heart
And as far as I can tell
God's alive and well
Yeah, God's alive and well
Call it a little bit of luck
Or just a simple twist of fate
Oh, we get swept up in the arms
You can feel it every day
In a baby's laugh
In a mother's eyes
Little miracles around us
Every day of our lives
The way the sun lights up the dark
The hope that I feel in my heart
And as far as I can tell
Yes, as far as I can tell
God's alive and well
Yeah, God's alive and well
As far as I can tell
Color, the gift of color
Is so beautiful
Color, the gift of color
Is so natural
Color, the gift of color
Makes the world so right
Color, the gift of color
Gonna paint your world tonight
Thank you for the colors of the rainbow
Thank you for sharing these colors with all the fish
And all the birds and all the flowers
And all that you have given us
I want to thank you
And thank you
For the colors of the
Heaven-in-the-earth
And for sharing these colors
In the people of the world
You give us color
As a gift, God
And thank you
For the colors of the
Heaven-in-the-earth
And the Heaven-in-the-sky
And for sharing these colors
In the people of the world
You give us color
You never looked more beautiful
Than you look tonight
In your eyes I see all I can be
And how you change my life
You held on when I let go
Now all I want is to let you know
Your love is like a river
It runs through my heart and soul
It's deep when I'm thirsty
And warm when I'm cold
And when I feel forgotten
I come running to your shore
And find peace of mind time after time
You give me everything and more
When tomorrow comes
I can face the morning
In a different light
You can change your mind a thousand times
Nothing will ever change mine
Cause your love is like a river
It runs through my heart and soul
It's deep when I'm thirsty
And warm when I'm cold
And when I feel forgotten
I come running to your shore
And find peace of mind time after time
You give me everything and more
The sun will rise and the light will shine
Oh everything will be all right
Oh yes it will (yes it will)
Cause your love is like a river
It runs through my heart and soul
It's deep when I'm thirsty and warm when I'm cold
And when I feel forgotten
I come running to your shore
And find peace of mind time after time
You give me everything and more
I'm almost goin' to the movies
And hangin' out with my friends
I'm almost seein' somebody new
I'm almost over getting over you
I'm almost comin' to my senses
But still a litle out of my mind
I'm almost happy but still a little blue
I'm almost over getting over you
I know our love has ended
And we should be apart
But how can you live with
An almost mended broken heart
I know our loved has ended
And we should be apart
But how can you live with
An almost mended broken heart
I'm almost sleepin' like a baby
I almost make it through the night
I'm ready to accept it's really true
I'm almost over, I can't believe it's over
When you change the way you look at things
The things you look at change
I can see the world so differently
Seeing things your way
There's a path that's right in front of me
That's been calling me for days
And I know that when you walk with me
It will be for always
You give me everything I have
Everything I need
You are the reason why I believe
All my love
I wanna give to you all my life
I wanna see you in my dreams
You opened up my eyes to a world I have never seen
I'm coming home
When I see the way the early dawn drives the night away
To reveal a world that's holding on to see a brighter day
I can only hope for everyone to feel the way I do
Live their life to love someone the way I love you
You give me everything I have
Everything I need
You are the reason why I believe
All my love
I wanna give to you all my life
I wanna see you in my dreams
You opened up my eyes to a world I have never seen
For always I will remain faithful to the faith you have in me
Can't believe how much I have grown with you
I'm finally coming home
Through you I see the light that will take me home
All the days of my life
For always I will remain faithful to the faith you have in me
Can't believe how much I have grown with you
I'm finally coming home
Racing down the highway
Road's open wide
A modern-day young gun
On a steel horse ride
Feeling like an outlaw I'm Billy the kid
Makin' most of this moment
'Cause who knows when it will all end
Always on the run
And whatever comes
I'm stickin' to my guns
They still call me Billy the kid
I'm still wanted for what I did
The price of fame is on my head
Can't shoot down old Billy the kid
Been told many times
To get outta town
I could walk away, baby
But I was born to fight
And I still believe
The west can be born to fight
And I still believe
The west can be won
I'll keep chasing those sunsets
With an angel riding shotgun
Papers say I'm dead
But I ain't buried yet
Still got bullets left
They still call me Billy the kid
I'm still wanted for what I did
The price of fame is on my head
Even if the pipes are knockin' and the walls are thin
We keep on rockin' like a cradle in the wind
We ain't got much money but we got enough
We got the power of young love
Who cares if the roof is leakin' and the paint is old
The stove is broken but we'll never be cold
Rubbin' two hearts together to warm up
That's the power of...
Young love, it's like a runaway train
Young blood, running through our veins
One kiss and I feel the pain
And I love the power of
Young love
We grew up together in our hometown
Got used to seein' each other around
And then one night it happened and it didn't take much
The band played just for us and...
The old folks complain about the kids today
But they were us just yesterday
All we need is the stars above
Cause we got the power of young lvoe
Young love, it's a burnin' flame
Young blood can't be contained
Washes over me like the falling rain
And I love the power of young love, young love, young love
You don't, you won't
No way I say
You didn't, you doesn't
You isn't, you wasn't
You wouldn't, you couldn't
You oughtn't, you shouldn't
Love nobody but me
You're mine, not his
You are, you is
I mean it, I seen it
I did it, I done it
I do, you knew
You can't, you shan't
Love nobody but me
That's all, that's it
I ain't jealous of the fellas
That you hang around with
Don't pay no mind
But I'm telling you one more time
You don't, you won't
No way I say
You didn't, you doesn't
You isn't, you wasn't
You wouldn't, you couldn't
You oughtn't, you shouldn't
Love nobody but me
That's all, that's right
I ain't waitin', ain't fakin'
No maybes no mights
My heart don't lie
But I'm telling you one more time
You don't, you won't
No way I say
You didn't, you doesn't
You isn't, you wasn't
You wouldn't, you couldn't
You oughtn't, you shouldn't
Love nobody but me
You're mine, not his
You are, you is
I mean it, I seen it
I did it, I done it
I do, you knew
You can't, you shan't
Love nobody but me
Love nobody but me
Love nobody but me
You don't, no way
You didn't, you doesn't
You isn't, you wasn't
You couldn't, you wouldn't
Love nobody but me
You're mine, you are
I mean, I seen it
I did it, I done it
You knew you shouldn't
Love nobody but me
Love nobody but me
Deep in the valley of our soul
Tired of worries you can't control
With so many mountains left to climb
Unanswered questions left to find
We go on
We go on
It's the first lesson learned when you're born
On the wings of angels
We ride out the storm
You and me
We go on
Pull a stranger from the water
And in that moment he's your brother
There's a gift when you receive him
Love is the greatest reason
We go on
We go on
It's the first lesson learned when you're born
On the wings of angels
We ride out the storm
You and me
We go on
Faith happens when you can't see
Against all odds you believe
We go on
We go on
It's the first lesson learned when you're born
On the wings of angels
We ride out the storm
You and me
Sleigh bells ringing
Choir singing,
Wondering what ole Santa's bringing
It's the warm and fuzzy time of year
Snow flakes fall
The temp is dropping
Families out together shopping
It's the warm and fuzzy time of year
Elves are working over time
Making all our toys
Reindeer hooves on all the roofs
Good little girls and boys
Big old cups of steaming cider
Fall asleep by the cozy fire
It's the warm and fuzzy time of year
Elves are working over time
Making all our toys
Reindeer hooves on all the rooves
Good little girls and boys
Big old cup of steaming cider
Fall asleep by the cozy fire
It's the warm and fuzzy time of year
For a straight A student who knows so much
You don't know nothin' bout love
Well you and me make history
There's no two hearts like us
Well go on, pretend, you can't figure it out
Well if there's any doubt
Let me spell it out for you honey
You don't want to miss
The perfect combination of
Three words, two hearts, one kiss
Three words, two hearts, one kiss
I know where I'm supposed to be
A heartbeats right on time
I don't know why you're holding back
But you're the first in line
We better catch this train waiting on the tracks
Cause it might not come back
Let me spell it out for you honey
You don't want to miss
The perfect combination of
Three words, two hearts, one kiss
Three words, that's it, I love you
Two hearts that beat as one
Oh let me spell it out for you honey
You don't want to miss
The perfect combination of
Three words, two hearts, one kiss
The perfect combination of
Three words, two hearts
We're looking for the king, the new Messiah
We're following the star shining brighter.
"Old man, won't you help us if you can,"
He shook his head but he pointed his hand.
There's a new kid in town,
And he's lying in a manger down the road.
There's a new kid in town,
But he's just another baby I suppose,
Heaven knows,
There's a new kid in town,
Here in Bethlehem.
I see you've traveled far bearing treasures
You say these gifts are for the new King's pleasures
I've heard that a king might come
But up till now there hasn't been one.
There's a new kid in town,
And he's lying in a manger down the road.
There's a new kid in town,
But he's just another baby I suppose,
Heaven knows,
There's a new kid in town,
Here in Bethlehem.
There's a new kid in town,
And he's lying in a manger down the road.
There's a new kid in town,
But he's just another baby I suppose,
Heaven knows,
There's a new kid in town,
There's a flower in the smallest garden
Reaching for the light
There's a candle in the darkest corner
Conquering the night
There is amazing strength in a willing hand
There are victories
That you've never planned
There's a hero
In everybody's heart
There's a fire inside of everybody
Burning clear & bright
There's a power in the faintest heartbeat
That cannot be denied
Go on and trust yourself
You can ride the wind
You're gonna take your dreams
Where's they've never been
There's a hero in everybody's heart
Go on and trust yourself
You can ride the wind
You're gonna take your dreams
Where they've never been
There's a hero in everybody's heart
The woman in my life wakes me up in the morning
With a gentle touch
She kisses me and whispers "darling
This day was made for us"
The woman in my life has a way of smiling
That can turn a gray sky blue
It's just like her without trying
To make the whole world new
And she's there when I need her
My guardian angel
In the dark I can see her
Here by my side
The woman in my life catches me when I've fallen
And holds me like a baby when I'm hurt
No matter how high I climb
She guides me safely back to Earth
And she's there when I need her
My guardian angel
In the dark I can see her
Here by my side
The woman in my life says I'm the one she prayed for
And all she's ever gonna need
But she's the one my heart was made for
And that's the way it's always gonna be
Now I understand just why my dad
He swallered a frog and hollered "Yum yum"
He slid down the hillside and darted his tongue
He entered the garden on this bright moonlight night
And he stopped in his tracks it was love at first sight
He said, "My skin is black and your skin is green
You dwell in a garden, I live by a stream
Although I'm short and stogy and your long and green
I've got a crush on you" and he squeezed her tighter
And tighter and tighter, "I've got a crush on you"
He said, 'I'm a king snake and you'll be my queen
With a butler and serpents in your own private stream
And if you refuse me it would be such a shame
'Cause I'm so tired of doin' my own fang"
And he squeezed her tighter to excite her and delite her
"I've got a crush on you and I'll be back tommorow"
Next day when he got there, a two-legged man
Was holdin' sweet green thang in his big human hand
A long jet of water shot out of her nose
Oh king snake had fallen in love with a hose
He said, "My skin is black and your skin is green
You dwell in a garden, I live by a stream
Although you're made of plastic I think you're fantastic
I've got a crush on you" but I don't think it's gonna work out
When the night is still
And the sea is calm
Lonely shadow, you call upon me
Lay by my side
Fear not tonight
Lonely shadow, you'll find a new light
Dream a dream
And see through angel's eyes
A place where we can fly away
Ride with me upon a shining star,
Above the moonlit sky
We will find Elysium
Hear the nightingale
Sing a lullaby
Lonely shadow, you'll find a new light
Dawn will be kind,
All will be bright,
Lonely shadow, rise from the darkness
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is he bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song,
As we go along,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
When you're in town
Later on, we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we've made,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
And pretend that he's a Charlie Brown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman
Until the other children knocked him down.
When it snows, ain't it thrilling
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Walking in a winter wonderland,
The sun is shining, the grass is green
The orange and palm trees sway
There's never been such a day
In Beverly Hills, LA
But it's December the 24th
And I'm longing to be up north
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know.
Where the treetops glisten,
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write.
May your days be merry and bright.
And may all your Christmases be white.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write.
May your days be merry and bright.
I've been looking at people
And how they change with the times
And lately all I've been seeing are people
Throwing love away and losing their minds
Or maybe it's me that's gone crazy
'Cause I can't understand why
All these people keep hurting each other
When good love is so hard to come by
So what's the glory in living
Doesn't anybody ever stay together anymore
And if love never lasts forever
Tell me what's forever for
I've been listening to people
And they say love is the key
And it's not my way to let them lead me astray
It's only that I want to believe
But I see love-hungry people
Trying their best to survive
While in their hands is a dying romance
And they're not even trying to keep it alive
So what's the glory in living
Doesn't anybody ever stay together anymore
And if love never lasts forever
I see her climbing my fence
She's throwing stones up at my window
She loves the midnight hour
She wants to play and that's all I need to know
I opened the door to the back porch
Barefoot on the cold floor
Didn't know where she was coming from
But that's what I'm goin' for
And it seems like the sun never goes down
When the daylight fades on this side of town
And we're dancin' around
Under the southern stars
And it feels like there's nothin' but wide open sky
When you're spreadin' your wings and learning to fly
And you get so high you can't forget where you are
I can't come down
I've gone too far
Wishing on a southern star
We take the long way home
That's where you find your dreams come true
Lying under the falling leaves
That's when you change your point of view
I fell in love that summer
And I tried to tell her
But just try to catch an eagle
Like you could ever
Yeah, it seems like the sun never goes down
When the daylight fades on this side of town
And we're dancin' around under the southern stars
I can't come down, I've gone too far
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yule-tide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos
Everybody knows a turkey
And some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way
He's loaded lots of toys
And goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly
And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although it's been said
Many times, many ways
Listen to the wind
If you listen carefully
You will hear soft notes
listen with your mind
Listen with your heart
You will hear a Heartsongs
A soft relaxing song
That reminds... you of
Peace and harmony
Harmony and love
Peace and harmony and love
If you hear this song
Always remember it
For if you do
You can teach it
To other people too
And they will forever
Forever they'll remember
Their Heartsongs
Of harmony
Harmony and love
Peace and harmony and love
Listen to the wind
If you listen carefully
You will hear soft notes
Listen with your mind
Listen with your heart
You will hear a Heartsong
Just hear those sleigh bells jingling,
Ring ting tingling too
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is falling
And friends are calling "yoo hoo",
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you.
Giddy yap, giddy yap, giddy yap,
Let's go, Let's look at the show,
We're riding in a wonderland of snow.
Giddy yap, giddy yap, gidd yap,
It's grand, Just holding your hand,
We're gliding along with a song
Of a wintry fairy land
Our cheeks are nice and rosy
And comfy cozy are we
We're snuggled up together
Like two birds of a feather would be
Let's take that road before us
And sing a chorus or two
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you.
There's a birthday party
At the home of Farmer Gray
It'll be the perfect ending a perfect day
We'll be singing the songs
We love to sing without a single stop
At the fireplace while we watch
The chestnuts pop. pop! pop! pop!
There's a happy feeling
Nothing in the world can buy
When they pass around the coffe and the pumpkin pie
It'll nearly be like a picture print by Currier and Iives
These wonderful things are the things
We remember all through our lives!
Just hear those sleigh bells jingling,
Ring ting tingling too
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is falling
And friends are calling "yoo hoo",
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you.
I sleep with one eye open
One foot on the floor
And when I see that the coast is clear
I slip right out the door
Some folks think I'm trouble
Bad with a capital B
But if I bust your bubble
Shamey, shamey, shame on me
Shamey, shamey, shame on me
I keep one hand in my pocket
The other in the cookie jar
I'm one step ahead, give me an inch
I'll take the whole nine yards
Some folks think I'm trouble
(Trouble)
Bad with a capital B
But if I bust your bubble
(He's trouble)
Shamey, shamey, shame on me
I'm as innocent as I can be
A little bent on trickery
A little hide and seek
A little tongue in cheek, oh yeah
Some folks think I'm trouble
(Trouble)
Bad with a capital B
But if I bust your bubble
(He's trouble)
Shamey, shamey, shame on me
Shamey, shamey, shame on me
Shamey, shamey, shame
Shamey, shamey, shame
Well, we met one night on the brink of July,
The sun had gone down, But the moon was so high
I could see her face, what a beautiful face
We talked like we had a lot to make up
We touched like there was never enough
And the time flew by, and then we said good-bye
I still love her, I still miss her
I still wish shed stayed forever
I tired to give her everything
That she was searching for
But she wanted more
It was the summer of bonfires down by the beach
Never thought her heart was out of my reach
Then tomorrow came and everything changed
Then the wind turned cold like a promise forgets
But I hold onto every word that she said
cause that's all I have and that's all she left
I still love her, I still miss her
I still wish shed stayed forever
I tired to give her everything
That she was searching for
But she wanted more
More than she could find in my arms
More than my world
More then this little town
I wonder if she found it
I still love her, I still miss her
I still wish shed stayed forever
I tired to give her everything
That she was searching for
But she wanted more
She wanted more
I tried to tell her, I tried to say
I Love You, I Love You
One of my greatest fears is it
I can't touch it, but I can feel it
It does not have a taste or smell
But I can hear it in my spirit
It is deep inside of me
It makes me fear my memory
One day I?ll live peacefully
Without the fear of it
It is something I can't see
But it can never possess me
It always tries to take control
I can defeat it if I believe it
It is deep inside of me
It makes me fear my memory
One day I?ll live peacefully
Without the fear of it
It keeps running through my mind
I have to fight it time and time
And time and time
And time and time again
It is deep inside of me
It makes me fear my memory
One day I?ll live peacefully
Without the fear of it
The more I understand about it
The less my world revolves around it
Then I can just live out my life
My time on Earth
Long as it seems
Is just a moment
In the grande scheme of things
A short refrain
Of life's endless song
Sung only once
And then we're gone
My time on Earth
Each breath I breathe
Is one more chance to share my love
With those around me
We come and go
Like shooting stars
The truth be known,
That's all we are
The more that I know
The more I can see
The older I grow
The more I believe
It's not the length of the life
Or the depth of the grave
In the end we'll be measured
By the love that we gave
So my time on Earth
On fate depends
But all that happens
In the space we're meant to live
Depends on me
And choices I face
For better or worse
They're mine to make
The more that I know
The more I can see
The older I grow
The more I believe
It's not the length of the life
Or the depth of the grave
In the end we'll be measured
By the love that we gave
So my time on Earth
Will be well spent
And when I leave this world
I'll leave with no regrets
I'll live and love
For all its worth
'Till I live out
My time on Earth
I could feel you reaching out for me before we ever touched
And I knew you would always be someone I could trust
I felt your presence through the good times and the bad
You kept the faith you always had
When you saw me getting nowhere
Trying to find a new direction
For a stubborn little voice that said
I didn't have a prayer
When my star began to fade
And I found the stage was bare
I looked into the wings and you were there
I felt like I was falling
Falling over the edge
And in this new altitude
I couldn't catch my breath
I turned my face to heaven
And it was then I realized
My guardian angel was here by my side
When you saw me getting nowhere
Trying to find a new direction
For that stubborn little voice that said
I didn't have a prayer
When my star began to fade
And I found the stage was bare
I looked into the wings and you were there
This song belongs to you
And you know every word is true
I always knew that I'd be lost without you
When my star began to fade
And I found the stage was bare
I looked into the wings
I looked into the wing
I looked into the wings
When Jamie died
And I didn't understand
The eternity of my sadness
I wised I could have prevented it
When I rest in bed
Dream about how I could have
Lived and played with my brother
How I wished that I could have saved him
If wishing could bring him back
He'd be here with me today
But then, I remember...
It happened anyway
When I look at pictures
And imagine what he would be like
Now a dozen years old
I wish I could have saved him from agelessness
If crying could bring him back
He'd be here with me today
But then I remember...
It happened anyway
When I think of why and how
He was with us and left us
I wished I could have prevented it
And stopped his death, and saved hium from
Never needing breath for birthday candles...
For birthday candles
If wishing could bring him back
He'd be here with me today
But then I remember...
When Jamie died I didn't understand
Oh, but then I remember
It happened anyway
It happened anyway
It amazes me
How I can see
That there is still so much more
After all this time
It's not hard to find
Why I adore you
Your smile, your heart, my friend
You make me all that I am
If you can tell me how
I could love you more than I do now
I will
And I know without a doubt
I will give you all I have to give
As long as I live
I will
As the years go by
I know that I
Will never leave your side
You're the world to me
And I'll always be
Right here for you
Until the last breath I take
I'm yours, for the rest of my days
I can't imagine how
I would be now
Without you here with me
I will give you all I have to give
For as long as I live
I've Changed
written by Steve Hornbeak, Liz Rose and Billy Gilman
I hate yo think about what we said the last time we talked
I remember that you cried and I just walked
I could say that I'm sorry about a thousand ways
I wouldn't blame you for not givin me the time of day
And even though you probably won't believe me
Just look into my eyes so that you can see that
I've changed
I've learned a lot from lonely days and nights
Thinkin bout you baby
Forgive me or don't, you probably won't,
But girl I've gotta let you know that I've changed
Yeah, yeah, I've changed
What I wouldn't do to make it all up to you
I know your thinking its all a line,
But its all true
I broke your heart and I know I won't forget it
Just give me one more night and you won't regret it
I've changed
I've learned a lot from lonely days and nights
Thinkin bout you baby
Forgive me or don't, you probably won't,
But girl I've gotta let you know that I've changed
Yeah, yeah, I've changed
I was that guy that made you cry that was back then
But I swear that's not who I am
I've changed
I've learned a lot from lonely days and nights
Thinkin bout you baby
Forgive me or don't, you probably won't,
But girl I've gotta let you know that I've changed
I don't want to live without you
Just one more chance to love everything about you
Forgive me or don't, you probably won't,
But girl I've gotta let you know that I've changed
Yeah I've changed
Please believe me I've changed
Bare feet on a hot summer night
It's just you, just me and we're talking
That look if we could talk all night
sweet enough to build a feeling on
crazy is the moon dancing off the water
I'm jumping up and down inside
Before I know I gotta get a little closer
Cause there's something I just can't hide
That fallin', that feelin'
Don't know how,
but you've got me reeled in
I love this, but all I know is
Chorus
I love you from deep down inside
It takes all I have to confide
And that's never been easy for me to say
Bonfire raisin up to the sky
Gotta flame going strong like a heart beat
That smile and the look in your eyes
says to me that you feel it too
And we're rollin' so goldin'
Girl, don't you know I'm stolen
And you've got me right here now
Chorus
I love you from deep down inside
It takes all I have to confide
And that's never been easy for me to say
I know, I know, so I'm going to give it my best
And let time take care of the rest
Right now in my soul
I know
I know without question
you're all that I want, all that I need
I love you from deep down inside
It takes all I have to confide
And that's never been easy for me to say
I know, I know,
so I'm going to give it my best
And let time take care of the rest
Right now in my soul
I know
I know
Oh, right now in my soul
I Know
If they would find a cure when I'm a kid
I could ride a bike and sail on rollerblades, and
I could go on really long nature hikes
If they would find a cure when I'm a teenager
I could earn my license and drive a car, and
I could dance every dance at my senior prom
If they would find a cure when
I'm a young adult
I could travel around the world and teach peace, and
I could marry and have children of my own
I could... if they would
I could... if they would
If they would find a cure when
I'm grown old
I could visit exotic places and appreciate culture
And proudly share pictures of my grandchildren
If they would find a cure when
I'm alive
I could live each day without pain and machines, and
I could celebrate the biggest thank you of life ever
I could... if they would
I could... if they would
If they would find a cure when
I'm buried into heaven
I could still celebrate with my brothers and sister there, and
I remember her
Shakin' off the dust
She could walk the walk
She was one of us
When she went away
I went down that day
Tryin' to cheer her up
Said you won't be missin' much
And all that I remember
When I think of her back then
Is a fast-talkin' fun-lovin' girl we called a friend
Hey little Suzie just got back
She's still wearing her baseball hat
Struck out twice and came back to sit with me
The game got called on a count of the weather
The rain came down and we huddled together
Thinkin' that life just couldn't get better
And when she walked away I noticed
She was lookin' back
I hope I'm the cause of all that
An accidental touch
Never meant so much
Makes me realize that we're not close enough
She used to talk so loud
Now she's whispering
Trying to draw me in
I'm listening
She was always after somethin'
Now I wonder if it's me
Maybe I'm just dreaming
But I call em' as I see em'
Oh hey little Suzie just got back
She's still wearing her baseball hat
Struck out twice and came back to sit with me
The game got called on a count of the weather
The rain came down and we huddled together
Thinkin' that life just couldn't get better
And when she walked away I noticed
She was lookin' back
I hope that I'm the cause of all that
The look that she shares
When she's playin' with her hair
Tells me where she's coming from
That it's going somewhere
(somewhere, somewhere)
Well hey little Suzie just got back
She's still wearing her baseball hat
Struck out twice and came back to sit with me
The game got called on a count of the weather
The rain came down and we huddled together
I swear no uniform ever looked better
When she walked away I noticed
She was lookin' back
I hope that I'm the cause of all that
(the cause of all that)
Hey girl, take the wheel
I can't drive anymore
What I want is to park this car
When I'm with you
And wait till the cops come around
Gonna find love if we keep this up
Can't stop, we feel the rush
If we keep foolin' around and it gets crazy enough
We're gonna find love
First time I met you
It crossed my mind
Your next kiss and your last kiss
Are gonna be mine
And I'd say we're right on time
Gonna find love if we keep this up
Can't stop, we feel the rush
If we keep foolin' around
And it gets crazy enough
We're gonna find love
Steamy windows
There's no way out
One more kiss
Are you with me now
Gonna find love if we keep this up
Can't stop, we feel the rush
If we keep foolin' around
And it gets crazy enough
Here comes Leroy Johnson in his shiny red corvette
Full of expectations for a night he won't forget
Followed by Moose Carson and his tricked out Chevrolet
showin off those new chrome rims he had put on today
And behind him there must be a hundred more cars on their way
As the eagle fly, drive by, happens every Friday night honky tonk parade
No marching bands, no Disneyland, no Flower covered floats
No spiderman, no superman, No Snoopy on a rope
Just daisy dukes, t-shirt and boots, its a red-neck masquerade
As the eagle fly, drive by, happens every Friday night honky tonk parade
Stella's got her top down, on her GTO
She still says the fast lane is the only way to go
And not to far behind her is Miss Miley's second ex
He always hits the wall with every second chance he gets
Round turn four, the end one must slow motion NASCAR race
As the eagle fly, drive by, happens every Friday night honky tonk parade
No marching bands, no Disneyland, No flower covered floats
No spiderman, no superman, no Snoopy on a rope
Just daisy dukes, t-shirt and boots, it's a red-neck masquerade
Have the eagle fly, drive by, happens every Friday night honky tonk parade
Oh, take it now
No marching bands, No Disneyland, No Flower covered floats
No Spiderman, No Superman, No Snoopy on a rope
Just daisy dukes, T-shirt and boots, its a red-neck masquerade
We need to stop, just stop
Stop for a moment
Before anybody says
or does anything
That may hurt anyone else
We need to be silent, just silent
Silent for a moment
Before we forever lose the
blessing of songs
That grow in our hearts
We need to notice, just notice
Notice for a moment
Before the future slips away
into ashes and dust of humility
Sotp, be silent, and notice
In so many ways, we are the same
Our differences are unique treasures
We have, we are, a mosaic of gifts
To nurture, to offer, to accept
We need to be, just be
Be for a moment
Kind and gentle,
innocent and trusting
Like children and lambs
Never judging or vengeful
Like the judging and the vengeful
And now, let us pray
Differently, yet together
Before there is no earth, no life
No chance for peace
Peace for our world
For our world
Namesake to Elisabeth
Her daddy's pride and joy
Baptized in her mama's tears soon after she was born
'Cause the doctor said she'd never live
To see her sweet sixteen
It's a miracle she beat those odds
And there's still no promise
She will see tomorrow
It makes me wonder
How life can give someone so much and take so much away
Oh, Elisabeth
You're a teacher you're a saint
And I'm so glad you came to us
Elisabeth, you make the world a better place
With the kindness of your smile and your love
And your beauty will live on and on
Elisabeth
She might not ever marry
Or hold a baby of her own
Things we all take for granted
Are the things she may never know
But she believes there's always hope
And that's all she really has
So she walks through life with passion and
With dignity and class
And when she cries, she cries in silence
But never for herself
She cries for everybody else, for everybody else
Oh, Elisabeth
You're a teacher you're a saint
And I'm so glad you came to us
Elisabeth, you make the world a better place
With the kindness of your smile and your love
And your beauty will live on and on
Elisabeth
And I'm so glad you came to us
Elisabeth, you make the world a better place
With the kindness of your smile and your love
Slow down, get real
Those innocent eyes can't conceal
You're lost, can't find your way
You don't belong
Behind the wheel
Your designated driver, that's me
And we're drivin' down dream street
The pedal to the floor
And we're headed for heaven's door
With the keys to your heart I'm your
Designated driver
The party's over, you've had enough
One little teardrop is one too much
One shot of pain, one splash of love
You better watch your step
This stuff is dangerous
Your designated driver, that's me
And we're drivin' down dream street
The pedal to the floor
And we're headed for heaven's door
With the keys to your heart I'm your
Designated driver
You look nervous, losin' your balance
You're gonna have to walk the line
'Cause baby you're gonna be mine
This ain't no limousine
But it can take you places

You say you made your decision
It's final, you're leavin'
And that's that
You say you're bustin' out of this prison
All this takin' and no givin'
And there's no turnin' back
Did you think I'd hold the door for you
I thought you knew me better than that
I won't let you turn and walk away
Won't pretend that everything's OK
I won't wish you well
The way you want me to
Sorry, baby I won't make it easy for you
I always admired your conviction
How you stood up for yourself
When things got rough
I had a moment of indecision, there's no forgivin'
And sorry's not enough
You always told me not to give up
So why are you givin' up on us?
...To vanish into thin air
I won't wish you well the way you want me to
Baby can't you tell that's just too hard to do
Hey clueless why you do you always do this
Do I have to go through this with you again
Cryin' on my shoulder
Whenever the nights grow colder
And you need more than another fair weather friend
Will it end before sundown
Before the prettiest girl in this town
Runs away from a showdown with me again
(Look at me now)
Come on baby, you need a rock you can't toss out
When you're under the covers
You think you're so strong
Holdin' on to me now
You know why you come around
I'm the rock you can't toss out
Don't kiss me say you're gonna miss me
Then ditch me till you come back again
Don't touch me
Tell me how much you love me
If you're not gonna love me
Like the world's gonna end
Maybe I never told you
That I want to hold you
And never wanted to be just friends
(Look at me now)
Come on baby, you need a rock you can't toss out
When you're under the covers
You think you're so strong
Holdin' on to me now
You know why you come around
I'm the rock you can't toss out
I know you want to see me
'Cause you're always at my door
Do you leave 'cause you're afraid of seeing something more
...You know why you come around, look at me now,
It matters that the workd knows
We must celebrate the gift of life
Everyday in some way
we must always remember to play after every storm
All children are truly blessed
With the innocent gifts of gentleness, trust, and compassion
To guide the wisdom of the grown-ups
We all have a song in our heart
that inspires us in good times
and hard times
If we take the time to listen
It matters, it matters, oh, it matters that the world knows
Our senses help discover the hidden and non-hidden
Enchantment in life, if we use them
We must carefully choose our words and wants
Or we could forever hurt others
with these dangerous weapons
Strength and calue of all things created
Must be measured by character and commitment
Rather than by might
and by wealth
We must head the lessons of everyday life
Through the celebration of children and heartsongs,
senses and words
Or we could lose in our journey
to the future
It matters
A person by my name and being existed
With a strong spirit and an eternam mindset
To become a peacemaker for all
I'll need time to get you off my mind
I may sometimes bother you, try to be in touch with you
Even ask too much of you, from time to time
Now and then, Lord, you know I'll need a friend
And 'till I get used to losing you, let me keep on using you,
'Til I can make it on my own
I'll get by, but no matter how I try
There'll be times that you'll know I'll call
Chances are my tears will fall
And I'll have no pride at all, from time to time
But they say, oh, there'll be a brighter day
But 'til then I lean on you, that's all I mean to do,
'Til I can make it on my own
Surely someday I'll look up and see the morning sun
Without another lonely night behind me
Then I'll know I'm over you and all my cryin's done
No more hurtin' memories can find me
But 'til then, Lord, you know I'm gonna need a friend
'Til I get used to losing you, let me keep on using you
What am I going to get you girl
I wanna buy you the whole wide world
All I got is a letter jacket and a mood ring
Sometimes I see you standing in the hall
and I can't say a thing at all
Deep inside I'm writing you poetry
Yes, I am
I almost love you
I can almost feel your kiss
Almost promise my heart
But my promise is more like a wish
Oh, I don't know what all this means
But girl I can't get you out of my dreams
Everytime that we get close
It's almost
Yesterday I saw you on the hood of a car
With an older guy, he was playing his guitar
You gave him your smile, I could have cried but I just froze
Should I stand up to him
Should I pick a fight
Should I get you to run away with me tonight
I don't know how to get there
Or where we'd go
Don't you know
I almost love you
I can almost feel your kiss
Almost promise my heart
But my promise is more like a wish
Oh, I don't know what all this means
But girl I can't get you out of my dreams
Everytime that we get close
It's almost
Love, it's almost the right stuff
It's almost the flight of a pure white dove
It's almost true love
I almost love you
I can almost feel your kiss
Almost promise my heart
But my promise is more like a wish
Oh, I don't know what all this means
But girl I can't get you out of my dreams
Everytime that we get close
It's almost
Love, it's almost the right stuff
It's almost the flight of a pure white dove
It's almost true love
It's almost true love
It's almost the right stuff
It's almost the flight of a pure white dove
A leopard with a harmless kid lay down
And not one savage beast was seen to frown
The wolf did with the lamb can dwell in peace
His grim carnivorous nature there did cease
The lion with the fatling awn did move
And a little child was leading them in love
Long ago there was a young painter
Who had a dream that every creature came
And stood assembled by his side
And he painted the sight that had sweetened his night
For the one hundred times before he died
A kid lion and a snake and a child
Wide-eyed and formal and smiling like the sun had stopped
And time had ceased to move
And the wolf and the lamb
Came and ate from his hand
And a man-child was leading them in love
Friend have you seen all the lines and the spaces
The colors that the old painter sees
In the peaceable kingdom that shines in the faces
Of people from more gentle times than these
I find myself adrift these days
And endless maze of ends and ways
And worlds seem so crazy to be here
But look away look away
Back or forward from today
To the visions of either fools or sears
Oh my friend have you seen all the lines and the spaces
The colors that the old painter sees
In the peaceable kingdom that shines in the faces
Of people from more gentle times than these
Such a beautiful place
Full of joy full of grace
It was bathed in our saintly yellow lie
To what learning to know that such things can't be so
He could only believe that they might
Oh my friend have you seen all the lines and the spaces
The colors that the old painter sees
In the peaceable kingdom that shines in the faces
Of people from more gentle times than these
Friend have you seen all the lines and the spaces
The colors that the young painter sees
In the peaceable kingdom that shines in the faces
The last thing on my mind
When I closed my eyes
Oooo Oooo Oooo my my
Is our first kiss
It might've been rainin'
It might've been sunny,
It could've been your house
It might've been Monday
The truth is I'm clueless
A little bit hazy
But when I remember
I can almost taste it
The last thing on my mind
When I closed my eyes
Ooo Ooo Ooo my my
Is our first kiss
Shooby do bob bob
A tiny bit nervous
I'd never been kissed
Did you open your eyes?
Cause I never did
I couldn't say nothin'
As I let it sink it,
I was just waiting to kiss you again!
The last thing on my mind
When I closed my eyes
Yeah, Ooo Ooo Ooo my my
Is our first kiss
Shooby do bob bob
aaa yeah yeah
The first thing on my mind
When I opened my eyes
Baby, Ooo Ooo Ooo my my
That's as far as it gets
Shooby do bob bob
aaa yeah yeah
The last thing on my mind
When I closed my eyes
Baby,Ooo Ooo Ooo my my
Is our first kiss
Shooby do bob bob
Yeah, yeah, yeah
The first thing on my mind
When I opened my eyes
Yeah, Ooo Ooo Ooo my my
That's as far as it gets
Shooby do bob bob
Suitcase packed with all his things
Car pulls up, the doorbell rings
He don't want to go, he thought he'd found his home
But with circumstances he can't change
Waves goodbye as they pull away
From the life he's known, for the last seven months or so
She said, "We found the man who looks like you
Who cried and said he never knew
About the boy in pictures that we showed him
A rambler in his younger days, he knew he made a few mistakes
But he swore he would have been there, had he known it
Son, we think we found your dad in Oklahoma"
A million thoughts raced through his mind
What's his name? What's he like?
And will he be anything like the man in his dreams
She could see the questions in his eyes
Whispered, "Don't be scared my child
I will let you know, what we know
About the man we found, he looks like you
Who cried and said he never knew
About the boy in pictures that we showed him
A rambler in his younger days, he knew he'd made a few mistakes
But he swore he would have been there, had he known it
You always said that this was something that you wanted
Son, it's time to meet your dad in Oklahoma"
One last turn, he held his breath
'Til they reached the fifth house on the left
And all at once the tears came rolling in
And as they pulled into the drive
A man was waiting there outside
Who wiped the worry from his eyes
Smiled and took his hand
And he said, "I'm the man who looks like you
Who cried because I never knew
About that boy in pictures that they showed me
A rambler in my younger days, I knew I made a few mistakes
But I swear I would have been there, had I known it
Never again will you ever be alone
Son, welcome to your home in Oklahoma"
When the thunder came
With our flag in flames
Everybody change the color
When the night became so dark with pain
Everyone became a brother
I came across the universe
And I don't know why
I came across the universe
To hear a soldier cry
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody listening to my prayer?
Is anybody out there?
If you can hear me please take me out of here
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody out there?
And the morning light makes you wonder why
You were ever born to see it
When your body's cold it's not the story told
To the brave young souls who believe it
They came across the battlefield
And they don't know why
They came across the universe
To hear a solider cry
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody listening to my prayer?
Is anybody out there?
If you can hear me please take me out of here
Is anybody listening?
Is anybody out there?
We're not his friends
Though he fears the end
And he'll die for them if he had to
Rise again fall again
In the end I will come to the rescue
Oh is anybody out there?
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody listening to my prayers?
Is anybody out there?
If you can hear me please take me out of here
Is anybody listening?
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody listening?
Is anybody listening?
Is anybody out there?
When the night became so dark with pain
You know I see you hiding
In your little corner of the world
Read all the poem you're writing
'Bout a scared and lonely girl
Who doesn't know how much
I need to feel her warm and tender touch
If you could see yourself through my eyes
You'd know that true love never lies
And you would realize how beautiful you are
If you could see yourself the way I do
You'd know that I loved you
Since the moment that you looked into my eyes
I need to tell you that the sunlight
Is always shining in your hair
I need to tell you nothin' feels right
Unless you're there
And you don't even know
That in my dreams I never let you go
If you could see yourself through my eyes
You'd know that true love never lies
And you would realize how beautiful you are
Oooh how long has it been
Since somebody told you
You could hold your head up high above the rest
'Cause baby, you're the best
Just let me love you and you'll realize
How beautiful you are
If you could see yourself the way I do
You'd know that I loved you
Since the moment that you looked into
Away in a manger, no crib for his bed
The little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head
The stars in the sky looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay.
The cattle are lowing,
The poor baby wakes,
But little Lord Jesus
No crying He makes;
I love thee, Lord Jesus,
Look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle till mornight is nigh
Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask thee to stay
Close by me forever and love me, I pray!
Bless all the dear children in thy tender care
You say you made your decision
It's final, you're leavin'
And that's that
You say you're bustin' out of this prison
All this takin' and no givin'
And there's no turnin' back
Did you think I'd hold the door for you
I thought you knew me better than that
[Chorus]
I won't let you turn and walk away
Won't pretend that everything's OK
I won't wish you well
The way you want me to
Sorry, baby I won't make it easy for you
I always admired your conviction
How you stood up for yourself
When things got rough
I had a moment of indecision, there's no forgivin'
And sorry's not enough
You always told me not to give up
So why are you givin' up on us?
[Chorus]
...To vanish into thin air
[Solo]
I won't wish you well the way you want me to
Baby can't you tell that's just too hard to do
If you're wondering what will turn your world around
Lift you up when your heart is down
You can pick yourself up off the groud
By virtue of your faith
In the midst of rainy weather
Feeling like the sun will never
Shine again but oh my friend somehow
In the midst of rainy weather
Clouds don't stay forever
God can see between the trees
He sees you now
If you're wondering what will turn your world around
Lift you up when your heart is down
You can pick yourself up off the groud
By virtue of your faith
Walking down that path alone
Circumstances not your own
Casting heavy shadows on your life
But every path will turn a corner
Every step will bring you closer
Heaven knows when you're ready you will see the light
If you're wondering what will turn your world around
Lift you up when your heart is down
You can pick yourself up off the groud
By virtue of your faith
When you feel the world is just to hard to bear
Walking down that road to no where
Turn yourself around and you'll be there
By virtue of your faith
Some-days you just can't win
NO NO!
But everyday you wake up again
And the sun will shine and the clouds will start to break
When you jump in and declare your faith
If you're wondering what will turn your world around
Lift you up when your heart is down
You can pick yourself up off the groud
By virtue of your faith
When you feel the world is just to hard to bear
Walking down that road to no where
Turn yourself around and you'll be there
By virtue of your faith
Roley Poley, gnawin' on a bisquit,
Hungry every minute of the day.
Well now, Roley Poley eatin' corn 'n' 'taters,
Long 's he can chew it it's okay.
He can eat an apple pie,
never even bat an eye.
Likes everything from soup to hay.
Roley Poley, daddy's little fatty,
bet he's gonna be a man someday.
Roley Poley, scrambled eggs for breakfast,
Bread and jelly twenty times a day.
Woah Roley Poley, eats a hardy dinner,
It takes lotsa strenght to run and play.
Pulls up weeds and does the chores,
Runs both ways to all the stores.
He works up an appetite that way,
Roley Poley, daddy's little fatty,
