Craig McCracken (born March 31, 1971) is an American cartoonist.

After his father died when he was 7 years old, he and his family went to Whittier, California. Upon Craig involved in drawing at an early age and graduated high school, he attended the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where he honed his animation skills and met his classmate Genndy Tartakovsky, with whom he would occasionally collaborate throughout his career. During his freshman year, he created a series of short cartoons featuring a character named No Neck Joe, which were picked up by Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation. While at CalArts, he also created a short entitled Whoopass Stew!, which would become the basis for The Powerpuff Girls. In 1993, Craig was tapped by Hanna-Barbera Cartoons to work as art director on 2 Stupid Dogs, as well as Tartakovsky's Dexter's Laboratory, both of which aired primarily on Cartoon Network in the United States. He began producing The Powerpuff Girls, which premiered as a short in 1995 on studio president Fred Seibert's animation incubator What a Cartoon!, and full half-hour episodes in 1998. The show has won both Emmy and Annie awards. In 2004, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends began airing on Cartoon Network. This series also won Emmy and Annie awards. In April 2008, he became executive producer of a new Cartoon Network showcase project called Cartoonstitute, but after 15 years of employment, he left Cartoon Network when its focus switched to reality program. McCracken married Lauren Faust, while working on The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Faust is the creator and former executive producer of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic". After leaving Cartoon Network he developed a live action/animation project at Sony Pictures Animation and, as of 2012, is currently developing "Wander Over Yonder" for Disney Television Animation.

Lauren Faust (c. 1975) is an American animator. She grew up in Severna Park, a suburb of Annapolis, Maryland. She studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts.

She has been a story artist since Season 3 of The Powerpuff Girls and was head writer on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. She also is the creator of the preteen girls website Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls. She received a 2008 Emmy Award for her work on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and has received a total of four Emmy nominations (two for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and two for her work on the Powerpuff Girls), and one Annie nomination for her work on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

Most recently, she worked with Hasbro to develop the company's My Little Pony property My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Seeking to address her concerns with the franchise's sexist stereotypes and poor writing standards, Faust endeavored to create a version that had sophisticated writing with more nuanced characters. As a result, the series proved to be a major success with the young female primary audience, but it also gained a significant adult and teen male following popularly known as the "Bronies". Faust announced her decision to step down from Executive Producer to Consulting Producer on May 8, 2011 after the first season finale of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and left the show shortly thereafter.

Tara Lyn Strong (née Charendoff; born February 12, 1973) is a Canadian actress, voice actress, and singer, who is perhaps best known for her voice work in animated films and television series.

Tara Lyn Charendoff was born on February 12, 1973 to Jewish-Canadian parents who ran a convenience/toy/candy store called The Wiz, and was raised in Toronto, Ontario. Strong's acting career began when she volunteered to be a soloist in the school production at age four. Soon, she began acting in the Yiddish Theater; though she did not know Yiddish, she memorized her lines phonetically. During this time, she also performed at the Toronto Jewish Theater (TJA), where she acted in A Night of Stars, and was featured in an audiotape for "Lay Down Your Arms" with the Habonim Youth Choir, where she sang the lyrics in both English and Hebrew, a feat she repeated on February 10, 2005, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel during the March of the Living dinner in honor of Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger.

At age thirteen, Strong was accepted into a performing arts school, where she landed her first professional role: the role of Gracie in the Limelight Theater's production of The Music Man. That same year, she booked a guest starring role in Mr. T's T. and T. Afterwards, she landed the title role in Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater and starred in the short-lived CBC Television sitcom Mosquito Lake before moving to Los Angeles in the midst of the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
