The Trouble with Girls (film)
The Trouble with Girls, the full title of which is The Trouble with Girls (and How to Get into It), is a 1969 film starring Elvis Presley. It was one of his final acting roles, along with the same year's Change of Habit. It is based on the 1960 novel Chautauqua by Day Keene and Dwight Vincent Babcock.
Plot
In a small Iowa town in 1927, a traveling Chautauqua company arrives, with internal squabbles dividing the troupe. The new manager, Walter Hale (Elvis Presley), is trying to prevent Charlene, the troupe's "Story Lady" (Marlyn Mason), from recruiting the performers to form a union.
Meanwhile, the town has a scandal following the murder of the local pharmacist Wilby (Dabney Coleman). Although a shady gambler is arrested, Walter realizes that the real killer is Nita (Sheree North), one of Wilby's employees.
Walter successfully gets Nita to confess during a Chautauqua performance, where she makes public the sexual harassment that Wilby directed at her. Nita's self-defense plea frees the wrongly jailed man, but Charlene is outraged that Walter used the crime to financially enrich the Chautauqua, and attempts to quit.

"The Trouble with Girls" is a song written by Chris Tompkins and Philip White, and recorded by American recording artist and American Idol 's season 10 winner, Scotty McCreery. It was released in August 2011 as the second single from his debut album Clear as Day.
Critical reception
Billy Dukes of Taste of Country gave the song mixed reviews, saying that the "heavy-handed production almost sabotages a fine performance." He later said "vulnerable and memorable." He gave the song three stars out of five. Matt Bjorke of Roughstock gave it favorable reviews noting "you’ll be hearing this song quite a bit on your local country radio stations as it’s everything that “I Love You This Big” isn’t and proves that America got it right by voting Scotty as the next American Idol last spring." He gave the song four stars out of five.
Commercial performance
As of February 18, 2014, the song has sold 836,000 copies in the United States. It was certified Platinum by the RIAA on November 11, 2014.

The Trouble with Girls is an American comic book published serially from 1987–1993 by Malibu Comics/Eternity Comics, Comico, and Epic Comics. It was written by Will Jacobs and Gerard Jones, and drawn by Tim Hamilton and others.
The Trouble with Girls is a satirical action series starring Lester Girls, who wants to be simply an "average guy" with a dead-end job, a plain wife, and no adventures more exciting than a good night's sleep. But Lester can't go for a drive without terrorists launching missiles at him, or walk into one of his many mansions without a beautiful, talented, curvaceous woman reposing half-dressed on his bed. Wealth, adventure, sexual magnetism, dashing good looks, and the savoir faire of a Hollywood action hero are what he calls "the curse of Girls."
Hamilton's clean, linear art evokes classic superhero comics. In one four-page set piece, Apache Dick, a Girls analogue who loves the high life, launches an escape that starts with pole-vaulting the Great Wall of China and ends with him crawling from the smoking wreckage of a kamikaze plane muttering only, "the bungalow."
