Suddenlink Communications, formerly Cebridge Connections, is a US cable broadband service provider with approximately 1.4 million subscribers. Suddenlink operates in 17 states including Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. With its corporate headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, Suddenlink is part of Cequel Communications, LLC. Cequel III, a separate privately owned company, was founded in January 2002 by Jerry Kent, Howard Wood, and Dan Bergstein as an investment and management firm that focuses on development of cable and telecommunications companies. Cequel III maintains a contract with Suddenlink for the provision of certain management services.
Suddenlink traces its origins to February 2003, when its senior management team assumed responsibility for the American post-bankruptcy assets of Classic Communications, which served remote suburban areas, smaller towns, and rural communities. Suddenlink's parent company, Cequel Communications, reported it would invest in and assume management of Classic Communications on February 12, 2003. At the time Classic was the twelfth largest MSO with 325,000 customers in nine states (Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado, and Ohio). Classic’s customers had been largely deprived of advanced services like high-speed Internet access. The new management team claims to have invested tens of millions of dollars to upgrade Classic systems and improve the quality and quantity of services they offered.

Suddenlink - Calling 911
Another quality install. Here we have a dedicated line installed to a townhome in a unit further down from me. Problem is every bit of the installation is wrong. This is was probably done by a contractor however there was no quality control with Suddenlink. For those of you watching I used to work for Suddenlink and my quality was never like this. I can tell it was a representative of the company (contractor or regular BBT) and not just an illegal hookup. This is due to the brand cable (CommSpec), the F connector/crimping method and official Suddenlink tag at the pedestal end (although they did not fill out the tag correctly). Obvious problems are the open destroyed pedestal, incorrect tagging, use of aerial line for a ground drop, non burial of drop, non highlighted orange marking...

Suddenlink advertisements tell people to use speedtest.suddenlink.com to compare the speed of their current internet connection to what they could get with Suddenlink. I have a massively fast connection at work, so decided to see if they rigged their test. And it appears they do.
Review: Suddenlink 200 megabits internet service in West Virginia here are our results from the first day of testing
After 2 weeks, 4 visits from 4 differnet "line men" and so many promises I have lost track, I am still down and this is the video to prove how pissed I am. This video took me almost 7 hours to upload due to the "reliable" Suddenlink connection.
In January of 2015 I signed up for a triple play bundle phone internet and cable for 98.66 plus tax and was told it was good for a year, then it would go up $10. Well it went up after 3 months. Then again at 6 months, I was lied to by Suddenlink reps. Every time I called about the same issue I got a different story. Suddenlink is history. Tired of having more money added to my bill and paying for stuff like the $3 sports fee and I don't even watch sports.
