Dubai pre-owned boat show 2013 details

The Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show 2012 saw the participation of 7,200 people and sold a total of 29 yachts for a total value of $2.6 million making it one of the top boating events in the region.

This year, the event will be held at the Dubai Creek Marina from November 21-23 and the event organisers are looking to build on this success.

Mustafa Al Hashimi, General Manager  of Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, said, “The Middle East is a haven for sailing aficionados, with stunning coastlines to explore and impressive marinas to moor boats of all shapes and sizes. It is also home to some of the world’s most spectacular yachts and demand for quality vessels in the region has been steadily increasing.”

The three day event will be a prolific playground for boating enthusiasts on a backdrop of live entertainment and family activities. Registration for yachts, boats, jet skis and retailers now being taken.

“The Middle East is full of yachting enthusiasts and fantastic vessels, so an event of this kind plays a key role in enabling people to purchase and register their new boats quickly and cost effectively, as well as meeting likeminded people with a passion for the industry,” said Mr Jassim Albastaki, Director General of MIDEX AIRLINES who are sponsoring of the show for the fourth consecutive year.
