Back in the 1970's when I was attending the University majoring in World Religions, I had a professor who was lecturing about the "myth" of Adam and Eve. He was walking back and forth in front of us, shouting out the lines for Lucifer and then God, to Adam and Eve, and was presenting it all as a comedy act, and most of the students were laughing. I was not laughing! All the way home I was praying to Father, for strength in what I knew I must do. When I got home I called the professor and asked him if I could have some time on the following monday to present another view of Adam and Eve? He was taken by surprise, but said, "Yes, of course." I was 'shaking in my boots", as the saying goes. It was taking courage to stand and present another view of Adam and Eve in front of 400 students!. I prayed for strength and began to record what I should say. It all came together and I sat on a stool with a microphone in front of me and read my paper to the students. When I finished, to my surprise the students gave me a standing ovation! Many came up to thank me for having the courage to present my historical view. I recorded the experience for my posterity to read and titled it, "Standing up for Adam and Eve". Recently some things happened to remind me of that occasion, and I reread what I said on that occasion. Suddenly it came in my mind that now, in 2014, it is time for me to once again "Stand up for Adam and Eve" and this time I should share the complete story of what happened as is given in the Epochal Revelation found in the Urantia Book. Now we have the world wide web as our audience, I humbly stand before you, with courage, to share this sacred account, of trials, tragedy, and eventual personal triumph. Remember this is a sacred experience you are about to hear. Your body is a Temple of God's Spirit in you, so watch this video with reverence in YOUR TEMPLE and hear the true story of what happened when Adam and Eve came to earth. illustrations for the Audios of the papers on Adam and Eve have come from saving pictures to illustrate the Revelation and then going on Google to see if I can find something there. I have tried my best to find pictures to enhance the touching story of Adam and Eve when they lived on our earth. They are far from perfect illustrations. Adam and Eve were 8 foot tall, and had blond hair and blue eyes and their posterity had red, blond or brown hair. It was hard to find an illustration that an artist had done of them, so please understand I had a lot of limitations in putting this together. When you see the garden of Eden illustration you can smile knowing that I made it in the early 1990's when my son put a program called SimCity on my computer and the first thing I wanted to do was create how the Garden of Eden may have looked : ) very amateur job indeed, as it looks like a small island, when in fact it would have been large enough for a million people. I saved my visual of it and am using it now to illustrate this audio! The narrative on all four videos is being read from the Urantia Book (Revelation) by a female professional reader and was recorded in 1994 on audio cassettes and is now available from the Urantia Foundation site-urantia.org and truthbook.com to download for free.
