Simona Milinytė (born December 12, 1995) also known as Simonna, is a Lithuanian singer and actress.
Career
2007–11: Career Beginnings and 12
In 2007, in Kaunas City Song, Simonna won the first place with her song 'Sparnuotosios supynes'.
In 2008, Simonna participated in contest in Pompeii city (Italy). Also, later that year, Simonna participated in the contests, called 'Talent Kaunas – 2008' here she won the 2nd place, and 'Baltic Talents', which took place in Riga, Estonia, and Simonna was nominated for a diploma. Same year Simonna released her debut album, called 12.
In 2009, Simonna participated in the contests like, first republic children and youth vocal competition, called 'Nightingale’s Valley', where Simonna won the 2nd place, St. Petersburg’s contest 'The path to the stars – in 2009', in International talent competition 'Kaunas – 2009', where Simonna won the 1st place, and also in competition 'Baltic Transit' Simonna won 3rd place. Also, in 2008–09, Simonna was touring Lithuania with some singers from Lithuania in the Olialia Zuzi Fiesta Tour.
Simonna (album)
Simonna is the second, self-titled studio album by Lithuanian recording artist Simonna, released on December 8, 2013 by ZUZI Muzika. Simonna participated in National Eurovision Song Contest with album's second single, One Of A Kind.
Background
Album consists of 15 songs, that are recorded in two languages, Simonna's national language, Lithuanian, and English. The songs were produced by Bo Reimer, Bobby Ljunggren, Elena Shvilpe, Stanislovas Stavickis, Linas Adomaitis, [Gintaras Zdebskis, Yann Peifer. The lyrics for songs were written by several Lithuanian and international artists Frederik Westin, Edgaras Lubys, Stanislovas Stavickis-Stano, Irma Adomaitienė and others, and simona herself. The album was released on December 8, 2013. Also, Simonna covered one of Cascada's song for the album/ So far, Simonna has released two singles from her second album, One Of A Kind and Give.
