A saw is a tool that uses a hard blade, wire, or chain with a toothed edge to cut through softer materials. A saw may be worked by hand, or powered by steam, water, electricity or other power. An abrasive saw uses a powered circular blade for cutting metal.
In a modern serrated saw, each tooth is bent to a precise angle called its set. The set of the teeth is determined by the kind of cut the saw is intended to make. For example, a rip saw has a tooth set that is similar to the angle used on a chisel. The idea is to have the teeth rip or tear the material apart. Some teeth are usually splayed slightly to each side of the blade so that the cut width (kerf) is wider than the blade itself and the blade does not bind in the cut. The kerf of the blade is adjusted with a tool called a saw tooth setter.
An abrasive saw uses an abrasive disc or band for cutting, rather than a serrated blade.
In ancient Egypt, saws made of copper are documented as early as the Early Dynastic Period, circa 3,000–2,800.[page needed] Examples of saws and models of saws have been found in many contexts throughout Egyptian history. Particularly useful are tomb wall illustrations of carpenters at work that show sizes and the use of different types. Egyptian saws were set with the teeth projecting only on one side, rather than in the modern fashion with the more advantageous alternating set.
Albert King (April 25, 1923 – December 21, 1992) was an American blues guitarist and singer, and a major influence in the world of blues guitar playing.
One of the "Three Kings of the Blues Guitar" (along with B.B. King and Freddie King), Albert King stood 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) (some reports say 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m)) and weighed 250 pounds (110 kg) and was known as "The Velvet Bulldozer". He was born Albert Nelson on a cotton plantation in Indianola, Mississippi. Although unrelated, Albert occasionally referred to himself as "B.B. King's half brother". During his childhood he would sing at a family gospel group at a church where his father played the guitar. One of 13 children, King grew up picking cotton on plantations near Forrest City, Arkansas, where the family moved when he was eight.
He began his professional work as a musician with a group called In The Groove Boys in Osceola, Arkansas. Moving north to Gary, Indiana and later St. Louis, Missouri, he briefly played drums for Jimmy Reed's band and on several early Reed recordings. Influenced by blues musicians Blind Lemon Jefferson and Lonnie Johnson, but also, interestingly enough, Hawaiian music, the electric guitar became his signature instrument, his preference being the Gibson Flying V which he named "Lucy". King earned his nickname "The Velvet Bulldozer" during this period as he drove one of them and also worked as a mechanic to make a living.
Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen (born September 23, 1949), nicknamed "The Boss," is an American singer-songwriter-performer who records and tours with the E Street Band. Springsteen is widely known for his brand of heartland rock, poetic lyrics, and Americana sentiments centered on his native New Jersey.
Springsteen's recordings have included both commercially accessible rock albums and more somber folk-oriented works. His most successful studio albums, Born in the U.S.A. and Born to Run, showcase a talent for finding grandeur in the struggles of daily American life; he has sold more than 65 million albums in the United States and more than 120 million worldwide and he has earned numerous awards for his work, including 21 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and an Academy Award. He is widely regarded by many as one of the most influential songwriters of the 20th century, and in 2004, Rolling Stone ranked him as the 23rd Greatest Artist of all time.
Springsteen was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, and spent his childhood and high school years in Freehold Borough. He lived on South Street in Freehold Borough and attended Freehold Borough High School. His father, Douglas Frederick Springsteen, was of Dutch and Irish ancestry and worked, among other vocations, as a bus driver, although he was frequently unemployed; his surname is Dutch for jump stone. His mother, Adele Ann (née Zerilli), was a legal secretary and was of Italian ancestry. His maternal grandfather was born in Vico Equense, a city near Naples. He has two younger sisters, Virginia and Pamela. Pamela had a brief film career, but left acting to pursue still photography full time; she took photos for the Human Touch and Lucky Town albums.
Ray Stevens (born Harold Ray Ragsdale, January 24, 1939) is an American country music, pop singer-songwriter who has become equally well known for his serious material as he has for his novelty songs.
Stevens was born Harry Ray Ragsdale on January 24, 1939, in Clarkdale, Georgia. While attending high school, Stevens formed his first band, a rhythm and blues group he named the Barons. Following his graduation from high school, Stevens enrolled in Georgia State University as a music major.
Capitol Records signed Stevens to their Prep Records division in 1957, and produced the singles "Silver Bracelet," that Billboard predicted to be a teen favorite, and "Rang Tang Ding Dong," about a Japanese sandman, for which Billboard credited the 16-year-old Stevens' vocals as "strong, attractive." The latter song was a cover of a song recorded by Manhattan doo-wop group The Cellos in 1957, and written by Cellos bass singer Alvin Williams.
In 1958, Bill Lowery created the National Recording Corporation (NRC), and brought Stevens on board playing numerous instruments, arranging music, and performing background vocals for its band. Around that time, he had adopted the professional name of "Ray Stevens," which was inspired by his middle name and his mother's maiden name. Lowery was unable to collect debts from his own accounts and was forced into bankruptcy.
Another night to say:
Things are about to change, is it forever?
Another game to play
When we hare a world together
Open your eyes and believe me
You gotta live and dream again
Still catching the sun as you're gliding
Uohoh!
Ev'ry night you take my heart
Into the stars and ev'rywhere
I dream to see you back
When I return but you're not there
Ev'ry night I feel you smile
And I can't stop be similing too
So tell me how, today
I'll find the way to be with you, every night
Pictures in black and white
Bridging you from the past into the future
I want you now to try
oh-oh-oh-oh
oh-oh-oh-oh
oh-oh-oh-oh over again...
oh-oh Over again...
oh-oh Over again...
Is not, is not over
something's keeping me
still next to you
Forever and ever
my friend
I don't know
I'll do believe again
so you can do it
(Never again, baby)
I'll just find
a final way awhile
and just you're talking
with the wild desire
(Never again, baby)
You stay in my soul,
in my heart, in my brain
Over again
every time
you make me wonder
are you're missing me?
Over again
do it so hard
as if I'd start out maybe
move in the world
Over again ...
Story keeps going
and it's taking mistery
love to you
I couldn't be fallen
my friend
but I won't giving a love again
'cause you can't do it
(Never again, baby)
I will find the love
to stay your night
and just to watchin'
with the wild desire
(Never again, baby)
You stay in my soul,
in my heart, in my brain
Over again
every time
you make me wonder
are you missing me?
Over again
do it so hard
as if I'd start out maybe
move in the world
Over again
into the night
I want you do to
need extend her lies
Over again
always to be
oh that's
a magic world
that persuing me
Over again ...
oh-oh over again...
ain-ain-ain so...
ain-ain-ain so...
ain-ain-ain so...
over again...
oh-oh over again...
You can dance
you can...
you can...
you can...
You can do it,
you can do it...
you can do it...
She came for me
And left my heart with a desperate fight
Love me all the time
For she’s a lady giving what you can’t believe
Babe it means so right
I believe myself and forget all the lies
Just believe on my side
She’s the best you can see
She’s the one right for me
Night girl wanna hold you
You can be my lover baby
Night girl want to feel you
Every night you take my heart
And drive it higher
She gives me all that I’ve been waiting for
Just to know how she drives my mind
And she’s the one who brakes my heart
And get my S.O.S
Night girl wanna hold you
You can be my lover baby
Night girl want to feel you
Every night you take my heart
And drive it higher
Babe it means so right
I believe myself and forget all the lies
Just believe on my side
She’s the best you can see
She’s the one right for me
Night girl wanna hold you
You can be my lover baby
Night girl want to feel you
Every night you take my heart
And drive it higher
Night girl for a moment
Want to be my lover baby
Night girl you drive me crazy
Just together we can get into the fire
She came for me
And left my heart with a desperate fight
Love me all the time
For she’s a lady giving what you can’t believe
Babe it means so right
I believe myself and forget all the lies
Just believe on my side
She’s the best you can see
She’s the one right for me
Night girl wanna hold you
You can be my lover baby
Night girl want to feel you
Every night you take my heart
And drive it higher
Night girl for a moment
Want to be my lover baby
Night girl you drive me crazy
I'm your lover
Don't you understand
We've got to talk it over
Don't you know this time will be for good
It is now or never
I will show the world I mean it all the way
That I believe in lovin' you
And I believe your love is true
And even if I cry for you
Nothing can be done
'Cos I believe in lovin' you
And I believe in my heart is true
And even if I die for you
My mind will never change
'Cos I believe in love
You're my baby
Everywhere you are
Don't have to think it over
Another night to say:
Things are about to change, is it forever?

I don't see the way to leave
You can drive my face a had
Forever just a day
I don't feel the way to steal
But you keep them in your mind
So hard is just to find
(Talking to the night, talking to the night)
Living in the shade of the light
There's nothing I can do
Nothing that I am here for
(Talking to the night, talking to the night)
I'm living in the shade of the light
There's nothing I can do for you
Heart to heart I'm here to tell you
To believe your words and tears
Make you forget your fears
When I was wandering through the dark
I take all the things I love
And wondering if you're mine, yeah
(Talking to the night, talking to the night)
Living in the shade of the light
There's nothing I can do
Nothing that I am here for
(Talking to the night, talking to the night)
I'm leaving in the shade of the light
There's nothing I can do for you

From the start you were first
He loves you at your worst
He'll do anything, a father
He shows you what love is
Saw your dreams before you did
He'll give everything, like your Heavenly Father
I see God in my father's eyes, I see God
A father's like the Father in the way he loves you
A father's like the Father when he carries you through
I am my father's daughter as I'm loving another
See love from my Father in Heaven
Through the eyes of my father on Earth
A strong hand as your guide
Feel his strength by your side
He'll give anything, a father
Feels your pain when you do
Has the words to give you
He is everything, like your Heavenly Father
