Charles William (Charlie) Alcock (2 December 1842 – 26 February 1907) was an influential English sportsman and administrator. He was a major instigator in the development of both international football and cricket, as well as being the creator of the FA Cup.
He was born in Sunderland, and his family moved to Chingford, then part of Essex, at an early age. According to The Wow Factor (JB Smart), 'He was born as simply Charles...William was not used until his marriage in 1864. He almost certainly took the middle name William in memory of his young brother' (who died 1858 aged 11). Educated at Harrow School, Alcock was a keen schoolboy footballer, and formed the Forest club with his elder brother, John, in Chingford in 1859. He was then a prime mover in the 1863 foundation of Forest's more famous successor, Wanderers F.C., who were initially a predominantly Old Harrovian side. For their influence on the game of football the Wanderers were considered as early as 1870 to be the MCC of football. As a player, Alcock was renowned as a hard-working centre-forward with an accurate shot. On 6 March 1875, he captained England against Scotland, scoring a goal in a 2-2 draw.
Charles W. Juels (1944-2009) was an American amateur astronomer. He was born in New York City, grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduated from Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1969. Juels was a prolific discoverer of asteroids, one of the top 30 discoverers of minor planets, with 315 to his credit.[1] He operated out of Fountain Hills Observatory, near Fountain Hills, Arizona.
Juels and Paulo R. Holvorcem won the Harvard-Smithsonian 2003 Comet Award for their joint charge-coupled-device (CCD) electronic-camera discovery of comet C/2002 Y1 on December 28, 2002.[2]
He was a retired Phoenix psychiatrist at the time of his discoveries.
Joseph R. Wallace (July 29, 1990 – April 19, 1993) was a two-year-old boy who was murdered by his mother in their Chicago, Illinois apartment. The circumstances of Wallace's death and the ensuing public outcry precipitated large changes in the Illinois child welfare system and the Cook County juvenile court.
Wallace's mother, Amanda Wallace, was known to be mentally ill. Despite this, Joseph and his younger brother Joshua were removed from a foster family and returned to their mother. Amanda killed Joseph with an electrical cord.
Berulangkali ku cuba
Melupakan dirimu
Yang sering hadir di minda
Merasuk fikiranku
Kau bunuh kewarasanku
Mengawal perasaan ku
Kehilangan..Oh pedoman
Ketidak warasan fikiran.Kau biarkan
Ku tersiksa
Kehilangan perasaan
Lepaskan aku
Dari genggam mu
Bebaskan aku dari hidupmu
Ku tidak mahu
Menjadi kalut
Fikiranku tak menentu
Kau membuat ku kehilangan
Kewarasan pemikiran
Berdiri di penjuru ku rasa ingin bersuara
Mengilai dan menjerit biarpun tanpa suara
Memukul menghayun
Dan menghempaskan kepala
Biarpun berdarah ku masih belum terasa
Perit pedih bisa siksanya di kepala
Atas kehilangan yang masih terasa
Menghambakan diri
Pada perasaan yang tak terkawal
Kesengsaraan kegagalan dan kehancuran
Solo&Rap;
Ku jalan perlahan bersihkan seluruh badan
Agar di tenangkan kekalutan fikiran
Agar di jauhkan dari bayang bayang
Agar dirimu bersemadi dengan tenang
Agar tiada lagi ketidak warasan fikiran
Tiada lain..ku inginkan
Hanyalah keamanan fikiran...Pegilah kau
Jauh terbang
Hilanglah kau dari pandangan
Gagalkah aku..dalam hidupku
Yang sudah hanyut tak menentu
Bayang bayangmu menghantuiku
Biarpun kau t\'lah lama berkubur
Kau membuat ku kehilangan
Kewarasan pemikiran
Berdiri di penjuru ku rasa ingin bersuara
Mengilai dan menjerit biarpun tanpa suara
Memukul menghayun
Dan menghempaskan kepala
Biarpun berdarah ku masih belum terasa
Perit pedih bisa siksanya di kepala
Atas kehilangan yang masih terasa
Menghambakan diri
Pada perasaan yang tak terkawal
Kesengsaraan kegagalan dan kehancuran
Ku jalan perlahan bersihkan seluruh badan
Agar di tenangkan kekalutan fikiran
Agar di jauhkan dari bayang bayang
Agar dirimu bersemadi dengan tenang
