Robert Duncan James Shennan (born 18 March 1962, Wirral, Cheshire, better known as Bob Shennan) is a British radio executive who was appointed as Controller of BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music in January 2009.

He was educated at Lancaster Royal Grammar School and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.

Shennan has been a senior executive in radio and television for a number of years. He started as a journalist at Hereward Radio in Peterborough from 1984-7. He joined BBC Sport in 1987 as a trainee radio sport producer and was part of the team that founded BBC Radio Five Live. After a spell as Head of BBC Sport where he had overall responsibility for sports coverage on BBC radio and television, he was appointed head of BBC Radio 5 Live in 2000. As the network's controller he oversaw the launch of BBC Radio Five Live Sports Extra in 2002, and also took over as controller of the BBC Asian Network in 2004.

In December 2007 it was announced that Shennan would be leaving the BBC to take up a position as Director of Radio at Channel Four. He joined the broadcaster in April 2008 as it made plans to diversify into radio with the launch of several stations under the banner of Channel Four Radio. However, in October 2008 Channel Four shelved its radio project in order to make a reported £100million in savings.

Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter who is currently signed to Asylum / Atlantic Records. Sheeran broke through commercially in June 2011, when his debut single "The A Team" debuted at number 3 on the UK chart.

Sheeran was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire to Irish and English parents, before moving to Framlingham, Suffolk; he is a cousin of TV journalist and presenter Gordon Burns. He learned guitar at a very young age, and began writing songs during his time at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham. His early childhood memories, referred to in a interview on the Zane Lowe show, included listening to Van Morrison on his countless trips to London with his parents and going to an intimate gig with Damien Rice in Ireland when he was 11. He also opened for Nizlopi in Norwich in April 2008 after being one of their guitar technicians. Sheeran began recording in 2005, which led to the release of his first EP, The Orange Room EP. Sheeran also released 2 albums, a self-titled one in 2006 and Want Some? in 2007. He moved to London in 2008 to play gigs, starting off in very small venues, playing every day, to as little as five people. In 2008, he auditioned for the ITV series Britannia High.

Randolph Edward Moore (June 21, 1906 – June 12, 1992) born in Naples, Texas was an Outfielder for Major League Baseball's Chicago White Sox (1927–28), Boston Braves (1930–35), Brooklyn Dodgers (1936–37) and St. Louis Cardinals (1937).

He finished 23rd in voting for the 1933 National League MVP for playing in 135 Games and having 497 At Bats, 64 Runs, 150 Hits, 23 Doubles, 7 Triples, 8 Home Runs, 70 RBI, 3 Stolen Bases, 40 Walks, .302 Batting Average, .356 On-base percentage, .425 Slugging Percentage, 211 Total Bases and 9 Sacrifice Hits.

In 10 seasons he played in 749 Games and had 2,253 At Bats, 258 Runs, 627 Hits, 110 Doubles, 17 Triples, 27 Home Runs, 308 RBI, 11 Stolen Bases, 158 Walks, .278 Batting Average, .326 On-base percentage, .378 Slugging Percentage, 852 Total Bases and 30 Sacrifice hits.

He died in Mt. Pleasant, Texas at the age of 85.

Yitz Jordan (born January 5, 1978), better known by his stage name Y-Love, is a Brooklyn-based African-American Jewish gay hip-hop artist. An Orthodox Jew, Jordan was formely Hassidic. Jordan rhymes in a mixture of English, Hebrew, Yiddish, Arabic, Latin and Aramaic, often covering social, political and religious themes.

Jordan, an only child, was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland to a Christian Ethiopian father and Puerto Rican mother, occasionally attending a Baptist church. As a youth, Jordan was a fan of the conscientious rhymes of KRS-ONE and Public Enemy’s Chuck D.

Jordan first became interested in Judaism at the age of seven. "I saw a commercial that said, 'Happy Passover from your friends at Channel 2,'" he said, "and I went drawing six-pointed stars on everything at my mother’s house." He started wearing a kippah and observing Shabbat at 14, and converted to Judaism around the turn of millennium. He later spent time studying at a yeshiva in Jerusalem. Jordan has also read the Quran, believing that familiarity with a variety of religious texts will help bring understanding.
