The film tells the love story of a male engineering college student, Gyeon-woo, and "the Girl" (who is never named in the movie). Gyeon-woo just cannot seem to catch a romantic break. One day, at dinner, Gyeon-woo is interrupted by a call from his mother, telling him to visit his aunt and meet a potential date. At the train station on his way to his aunt's, he observes a drunk girl, standing precariously close to the edge of the train platform as the train approaches; he pulls her to safety just in time. Inside the train, Gyeon-woo cannot help but stare at the girl who is his "type" but repulsed by her drunkenness. Finally, she throws up on a passenger and faints but not before she calls Gyeon-woo "honey". The passenger aggressively chides Gyeon-woo and tells him to take care of his "girlfriend". Gyeon-woo, completely flustered, carries her all the way to the nearest hotel. Thus begins his comically ill-fated relationship with the Girl. They meet each other again after Gyeon-woo gets locked up in jail over a misunderstanding, and over soju the Girl cries, admits to breaking up with her boyfriend the day before and gets thoroughly drunk, resulting in a second trip to the same hotel.
After this second overnight stay at the hotel, she begins to become a more active part of his life. She visits Gyeon-woo in school and pulls him out of class, telling the teacher that Gyeon-woo is the father of her soon-to-be-aborted baby. The Girl's mood swings wildly from joyful to downright violent, but Gyeon-woo puts up with it and lets her abuse him for her amusement.

Tirol, Mai 1915. Ein friedlicher Frühlingstag spannt seine flirrende Bläue von den nahen Dolomiten bis ins Tal. Auf den Holzveranden des traditionsreichen Hauses einer Hoteliersfamilie wogt eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft im Glück. Für Momente wird Anderl (William Moseley aus "Die Chroniken von Narnia"), der Bruder der Braut, sich im koketten Blick der blutjungen Italienerin Francesca (Eugenia Costantini) spiegeln, dann sprengt die Nachricht von der Kriegserklärung Italiens an Österreich das fröhliche Fest, zerrt geifernden Nationalitätenkonflikt an frisch geknüpften familiären Banden.
Hastig übergestreifte Uniformen machen aus Männern, Familienvätern oder noch halben Kindern Soldaten. Auch Anderl muss einrücken an die Gebirgsfront. Für Francesca will, ja muss er heil zurückkommen.
Ernst Gossner drehte an den Originalschauplätzen dieses verstörenden Kriegsherdes im heutigen UNESCO- Weltnaturerbe der Dolomiten. Es ist dies eine Liebesgeschichte, hineingeworfen in Kriegswirren, die zeigt, was ein die Seele vergiftender gelenkter Patriotismus aus Menschen macht. Im Angesicht stoisch steinerner Felshäupter findet die Angst vor dem ersten Schuss ihre akustische Umsetzung im Rauschen des eigenen Blutes, vermählt mit Arienklängen. Selten wurde die groteske Bestialität des Krieges so eindrücklich auf großer Leinwand geschildert.
Was bleibt, ist die Tragik, dass jeder totgeschossene Soldat die ewige Wiederholung eines Irrtums ist. Regisseur Gossner kann sich auf ein Star- Ensemble verlassen, aus dem neben großartigen Jungdarstellern etwa eine gereifte Claudia Cardinale voll eleganter Italianità oder ein großartiger Fritz Karl als verstörend niederträchtiger Charakter herausragen. Am Ende, wenn sich die mörderische Raserei, der Hass und der Schmerz gelegt haben und der explodierende Berg den Liebenden mit staubigem Atem hinterher faucht, wird klar, dass ein guter Stern die ganze Zeit über ihnen stand. Herzzermörsernde Emotion im Passepartout monumentaler Natur und politischer Konflikte.

Synopsis:
In the near future the society of a megalopolis is divided into two fractions: on one side a super-rich minority, led by the ruthless dictator Lucius (Werner Daehn), living a life of debauchery and decadence.
On the other side the vast majority, dwelling in different degrees of nearly unbearable poverty.
When the young Frederick (Nikolai Kinski) comes in possession of the partial copy of a long forbidden Stanley Kubrick movie, it sparks a growing movement amongst the city's formerly aimless youths, developing fast into serious opposition to the ruling system, which retaliates with rapidly increasing brutality.
Frederick becomes Alex, his friends the new droogs. But are they even aware of the consequences of their actions?

with increasing activity at one point that erupts into a
vast solar flare shooting out into the void and through
space towards the Earth.

11 year cycle and scientists warn
that a massive eruption known as a
coronal mass ejection or 'C.M.E' is
expected to reach us this morning
and last for at least 24 hours.
The magnetic, radio and radiation

deflected to the poles by the
Earth's magnetic field but whilst
most us won't notice anything

ORF "heute leben" Vorstellung des Kinofilms "Der stille Berg" von Ernst Gossner
Blutbad auf den Berggipfeln: "Der stille Berg" Tirol, Mai 1915. Ein friedlicher Frühlingstag spannt seine flirrende Bläue von den nahen Dolomiten bis ins Tal. Auf den Holzveranden des traditionsreichen Hauses einer Hoteliersfamilie wogt eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft im Glück. Für Momente wird Anderl (William Moseley aus "Die Chroniken von Narnia"), der Bruder der Braut, sich im koketten Blick der blutjungen Italienerin Francesca (Eugenia Costantini) spiegeln, dann sprengt die Nachricht von der Kriegserklärung Italiens an Österreich das fröhliche Fest, zerrt geifernden Nationalitätenkonflikt an frisch geknüpften familiären Banden. Hastig übergestreifte Uniformen machen aus Männern, Familienvätern oder noch halben Kindern Soldaten. Auch Anderl muss einrücken an die Gebirgsfront. Für Francesca will, ja muss er heil zurückkommen. Ernst Gossner drehte an den Originalschauplätzen dieses verstörenden Kriegsherdes im heutigen UNESCO- Weltnaturerbe der Dolomiten. Es ist dies eine Liebesgeschichte, hineingeworfen in Kriegswirren, die zeigt, was ein die Seele vergiftender gelenkter Patriotismus aus Menschen macht. Im Angesicht stoisch steinerner Felshäupter findet die Angst vor dem ersten Schuss ihre akustische Umsetzung im Rauschen des eigenen Blutes, vermählt mit Arienklängen. Selten wurde die groteske Bestialität des Krieges so eindrücklich auf großer Leinwand geschildert. Was bleibt, ist die Tragik, dass jeder totgeschossene Soldat die ewige Wiederholung eines Irrtums ist. Regisseur Gossner kann sich auf ein Star- Ensemble verlassen, aus dem neben großartigen Jungdarstellern etwa eine gereifte Claudia Cardinale voll eleganter Italianità oder ein großartiger Fritz Karl als verstörend niederträchtiger Charakter herausragen. Am Ende, wenn sich die mörderische Raserei, der Hass und der Schmerz gelegt haben und der explodierende Berg den Liebenden mit staubigem Atem hinterher faucht, wird klar, dass ein guter Stern die ganze Zeit über ihnen stand. Herzzermörsernde Emotion im Passepartout monumentaler Natur und politischer Konflikte.- published: 14 Mar 2014

Synopsis:
In the near future the society of a megalopolis is divided into two fractions: on one side a super-rich minority, led by the ruthless dictator Lucius (Werner Daehn), living a life of debauchery and decadence.
On the other side the vast majority, dwelling in different degrees of nearly unbearable poverty.
When the young Frederick (Nikolai Kinski) comes in possession of the partial copy of a long forbidden Stanley Kubrick movie, it sparks a growing movement amongst the city's formerly aimless youths, developing fast into serious opposition to the ruling system, which retaliates with rapidly increasing brutality.
Frederick becomes Alex, his friends the new droogs. But are they even aware of the consequences of their actions?

Werner Daehn (born 1967) is a German/international actor, who has worked with Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson in xXx, with Jason Priestley in Colditz an ITV1 2005 miniseries, with Bill Pullman in Revelations and with Steven Seagal in Shadow Man. In addition he has also worked in German productions like Stauffenberg - Rebellion of Conscience (also titled Valkeryie on the German DVD) and King of Thieves (nominated in Germany for the Grimme Prize). He appears momentarily in the film The Lives of Others by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck. He also took part in a British production for the BBC, when in 2011 he played the role of Dr Georg Maurer, the German doctor who treated the Manchester United players who survived the 1958 Munich air disaster.

Nanhoï Nikolai Kinski (born July 30, 1976 in Paris, France) is a film actor, and the only acknowledged son of the prolific actor Klaus Kinski and his third wife, Minhoi Geneviève Loanic. He is the half-brother of actresses Nastassja Kinski and Pola Kinski. Nikolai was born in France, but was raised in California, United States. He currently resides in Berlin, Germany and holds dual citizenship in the United States and France.
Nikolai was the only one who attended the funeral of his father Klaus as his ashes were strewn in the Pacific Ocean.
Nikolai's first acting role was alongside his father in the 1989 film Kinski Paganini. He was enrolled as a Theatre Major in the UCLA School of Theatre in the mid 1990s, and has since starred in a number of German language films, after learning to speak German fluently in less than two years. More recently, he starred in 2005's Æon Flux alongside Charlize Theron.
In 2006, he won the Romy Award as best newcomer.

Gentiana "Genta" Ismajli (Serbo-Croatian: Gentijana Ismajli) (born April 12, 1984 in Gnjilane, SFR Yugoslavia) is an ethnic Albanian Kosovar singer and songwriter.
A few months after her birth, her parents decided to move to Chicago in the United States. At the age of 19, she went to back to Kosovo to sing a song, called "Dridhem". The song became an instant hit, which ignited Genta's music career. She soon relocated to Kosovo with the intention of remaining for good, and has participated in several music competitions, both in Albania and Kosovo. She won Kënga Magjike 07 in 2005 with the song "S'dua tjetër" composed by Adrian Hila, an Albanian composer. She got 292 points. First Genta's hit was "Kthehu". The video clip was released in America and when she came to Kosovo she was already known. Gentiana continued her career in Kosovo for three more years. She has had great success ; she then went back to America, sometimes to see her parents and came back to Kosovo with many good songs.
Ismajli sings mostly commercial pop songs, similar to other Balkan pop. Lascivious stage movements with challenging clothes are a part of her image. Genta is known for her energetic dance performances as well as catchy pop and hip hop rhythms. In the first edition of Dancing with the Stars (Albania), she took second place.

Barbara Schöneberger (born 5 March 1974) is a German actress, singer and TV host.
Schöneberger is the only child of Clarinet player Hans Schöneberger and his wife Annemarie. She studied sociology, art history and communication studies in Augsburg. She lives in Berlin with her second husband Maximilian von Schierstädt and has one son named Juri born June 2010.
Since 1999 Schöneberger has been hosting several TV shows on German television, including Die Schöneberger Show (The Schöneberger Show) and Blondes Gift (Blond Poison), for which she received a Grimme Award nomination. She also acted in a number of TV movies and hosted some award ceremonies, such as the Echo 2009.
In 2007 Schöneberger published her first studio album, Jetzt singt sie auch noch! (Now she sings, too). Her second album, Nochmal, nur anders (Again, but different) followed in 2009.
