YGOPRO Meliae of the Trees Turbo v3 Quasar

The deck can now make rank 6 xyz, swarm the field with big plant beater, and able to make quasar. Previous Build: V1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXBdTXHaXHY& list=TLSpwIX_g9suzz78ToH46ho90Bx7esAugM V2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBdTlIkDLVg -Having Lonefire in the grave is essential for the deck to work. -Card that banish your grave or restrict it will instantly shut this deck down. -Can make naturia beast and barkion. -Weak against deck with lots of backrow, you need melias out on the field. -Can make Shooting Star Dragon or Shooting Quasar Dragon. Music: 1.Etrian Odyssey IV - Music: Battlefield - Storm 2.Etrian Odyssey IV - Music: Battlefield - Faith is My Pillar 3.Etrian Odyssey Untold - The Battlefield That Never Sleeps My thoughts: Wow this deck sure has gone a long way, at least for me it is. After 3 months I think I finally made it the best it can be. If you been following since the first Meliae Turbo video then you'll know that point of this deck is to mainly summon out talaya and gigaplant for a otk, quasar is just optional to summon it's not the main focus. Xyz reborn + Supervise + lonefire in the grave is enough to put out 9k damage with 1 talaya, 2 gigaplant, and 1 melia, plus even if they did survive somehow they would have to dark hole you 3 times to completely get rid of all your monster. The one big weakness of this deck is spell and traps. I should have put in more spell and trap protection but I didn't feel like I had enough space for it, beside if I'm playing a trap heavy deck then I'll just make barkion. The extra deck is really tight now that quasar is there to fill up the space. I would probably place this deck at tier 3 since they could easily disrupt your play. All they have to do is just stop your summoning of melia to put lonefire to grave. This deck quickly demise your hand so if you don't get lonefire to the grave early in the game then you're gonna suffer. Pot of duplicity does help refill your hand cause if your melias did die then you could shuffle it back and the 2 monster use to summon it back and draw 2 card. This deck has psychic, warrior and plant so duplicity should be alive most of the time. I would try to find a place to add more mystical space typhoon, duplicity, or forbidden lance but I can't decide what to remove for it. Spell striker is also a good lv 3 earth use to special summon for melia but I didn't fully test it out and completely forgot about it. Overall it's a pretty fun deck to play I kinda hope they give more support for plants in the future. Other: It took me a while to make this video mainly due to my computer breaking down after a huge thunderstorm, I lost all my decks, replay, and just about everything in my computer T_T . Had to get a new computer and do everything over again. This video was kinda rush, I didn't really put a lot of effort into this video, I just played a few game and just smashed all the replay into one video. Didn't really feel like the music fit well with the video but oh well. Wasn't really motivated since I lost all my replay with that thunder storm and had to remake the deck and get new replays,then the banlist came and had to redo the deck for the 3rd time -_- .

It's to focused more on getting Quasar out more consistently. In order to make Quasar, you really need dandy to be detach as a xyz material. Those token are very crucial in order to summon Quasar out. Miracle fertilizer helps out a lot due to it being able to bring back dandylion or lonefire, which could get dandylion from the deck. The one card you do not want to draw is spore. You basically can't make Quasar anymore if you draw the single spore of the deck. One thing that really hurts the deck is trap heavy deck. Since this is a turbo spamming deck, a single trap can just stop you dead in your track, but against a trap less deck. You'll find this deck to do very well against them. The two card this deck hates the most is Evilswarm Excition Knight and Ark Knight. The Tayala lock can basically get shutdown by Ark Knight since he doesn't destory and just attach Tayala as a xyz material. So then I alternated to having 1 Tayala and 1 Tytannial, but even then they could just use Excition Knight and wipe out my field since he could use his field wiping effect twice and Tayala can only protect once. I didn't wanna add the second Tayala, cause I want to keep the deck consistent. So for now 1 Tayala and 1 Tytannial should be the perfect balance right now. YGOPRO X-Saber Meliae

Yet another meliae deck, this time with x-saber. Even more if you have supervise, but I removed supervise for whatever reason. Not only can you swarm the field faster, you could also make rank 6 xyz plays. Old version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXBdTXHaXHY -Still weak against deck with big beater, but there are more trap and monster destruction eff in this new build. -Having Lonefire in the grave is essential for the deck to work. -Macro Cosmos will instantly shut this deck down. -Can make naturia beast and barkion -Weak against deck with lots of backrow, you need melias out on the field. I just love how fast you can swarm with this deck. You abuse lonefire blossom to special summon talaya or gigaplant from your deck, then when lonefire is out of target, you then abuse gigaplant to special summon plant from your hand or grave. I also love how this deck have interchangeable boss monster. Talaya is great against deck that use alot of deck destruction, Tytannial is good against deck that target alot, and Malina is good at protecting your plant monster? Malina is probably the less useful out of the 3 plant princess. I removed debris dragon since I wanted to make the deck more consistent at making meliaes since the whole deck revolves around it.The reason why Tytannial isn't in the main deck is simply cause I don't like how you have to tribute a plant for Tytannial eff and I don't want to add in another lv 8 plant monster to draw into cause it's mostly a dead draw unless you have gigaplant. I might bump up gigaplant to 3 mainly cause, if i have 2 gigaplant and 1 of them have supervise, i could xyz into a rank 6 then supervise eff would activate and i could bring back the 3rd gigaplant from the grave. The worst match up for this deck is still big beaters to a extent, but mostly your worst match up is macro, d.fissure, or necrovalley deck, basically any card that shutdown the grave. You definitely don't want any of your plant to be banish, while you do have levair, it could only bring back a lv 4 or lower. Angel of Zera might be a good side deck card if you ever fight a macro deck. Anyway I really like this deck, it's a good competitive deck. I'm just waiting for konami to make more plant princess so this deck could have more interchangeable boss monster, I'm also waiting for konami to make a better lv 8 plant xyz cause number 87 is not really that good outside of being a big beater.I could type more of my thoughts on this deck, but the description is getting to long already so I'll just end it here. In Greek mythology, the Meliae or Meliai (Ancient Greek: Μελίαι or Μελιάδες) were nymphs of the ash tree, whose name they shared. They appeared from the drops of blood spilled when Cronus castrated Uranus, according to Hesiod, Theogony 187. From the same blood sprang the Erinyes, suggesting that the ash-tree nymphs represented the Fates in milder guise (Graves 6.4). From the Meliae sprang the race of mankind of the Age of Bronze.

The Meliae belong to a class of sisterhoods whose nature is to appear collectively and who are invoked in the plural, though genealogical myths, especially in Hesiod, give them individual names, such as Melia, "but these are quite clearly secondary and carry no great weight" (Burkert 1985 III.3.2). The Melia thus singled out is one of these daughters of Oceanus. By her brother the river-god Inachus, she became the mother of Io, Phoroneus, Aegialeus or Phegeus, and Philodice. In other stories, she was the mother of Amycus by Poseidon, as the Olympian representative of Oceanus.

It's to focused more on getting Quasar out more consistently. In order to make Quasar, you really need dandy to be detach as a xyz material. Those token are very crucial in order to summon Quasar out. Miracle fertilizer helps out a lot due to it being able to bring back dandylion or lonefire, which could get dandylion from the deck. The one card you do not want to draw is spore. You basically can't make Quasar anymore if you draw the single spore of the deck. One thing that really hurts the deck is trap heavy deck. Since this is a turbo spamming deck, a single trap can just stop you dead in your track, but against a trap less deck. You'll find this deck to do very well against them. The two card this deck hates the most is Evilswarm Excition Knight and Ark Knight. The Tayala lock can basically get shutdown by Ark Knight since he doesn't destory and just attach Tayala as a xyz material. So then I alternated to having 1 Tayala and 1 Tytannial, but even then they could just use Excition Knight and wipe out my field since he could use his field wiping effect twice and Tayala can only protect once. I didn't wanna add the second Tayala, cause I want to keep the deck consistent. So for now 1 Tayala and 1 Tytannial should be the perfect balance right now. Not only can you swarm the field faster, you could also make rank 6 xyz plays. Old version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXBdTXHaXHY -Still weak against deck with big beater, but there are more trap and monster destruction eff in this new build. -Having Lonefire in the grave is essential for the deck to work. -Macro Cosmos will instantly shut this deck down. -Can make naturia beast and barkion -Weak against deck with lots of backrow, you need melias out on the field. I just love how fast you can swarm with this deck. You abuse lonefire blossom to special summon talaya or gigaplant from your deck, then when lonefire is out of target, you then abuse gigaplant to special summon plant from your hand or grave. I also love how this deck have interchangeable boss monster. Talaya is great against deck that use alot of deck destruction, Tytannial is good against deck that target alot, and Malina is good at protecting your plant monster? Malina is probably the less useful out of the 3 plant princess. I removed debris dragon since I wanted to make the deck more consistent at making meliaes since the whole deck revolves around it.The reason why Tytannial isn't in the main deck is simply cause I don't like how you have to tribute a plant for Tytannial eff and I don't want to add in another lv 8 plant monster to draw into cause it's mostly a dead draw unless you have gigaplant. I might bump up gigaplant to 3 mainly cause, if i have 2 gigaplant and 1 of them have supervise, i could xyz into a rank 6 then supervise eff would activate and i could bring back the 3rd gigaplant from the grave. The worst match up for this deck is still big beaters to a extent, but mostly your worst match up is macro, d.fissure, or necrovalley deck, basically any card that shutdown the grave. You definitely don't want any of your plant to be banish, while you do have levair, it could only bring back a lv 4 or lower. Angel of Zera might be a good side deck card if you ever fight a macro deck. Anyway I really like this deck, it's a good competitive deck. I'm just waiting for konami to make more plant princess so this deck could have more interchangeable boss monster, I'm also waiting for konami to make a better lv 8 plant xyz cause number 87 is not really that good outside of being a big beater.I could type more of my thoughts on this deck, but the description is getting to long already so I'll just end it here. After 3 months I think I finally made it the best it can be. If you been following since the first Meliae Turbo video then you'll know that point of this deck is to mainly summon out talaya and gigaplant for a otk, quasar is just optional to summon it's not the main focus. Xyz reborn + Supervise + lonefire in the grave is enough to put out 9k damage with 1 talaya, 2 gigaplant, and 1 melia, plus even if they did survive somehow they would have to dark hole you 3 times to completely get rid of all your monster. The one big weakness of this deck is spell and traps. I should have put in more spell and trap protection but I didn't feel like I had enough space for it, beside if I'm playing a trap heavy deck then I'll just make barkion. The extra deck is really tight now that quasar is there to fill up the space. I would probably place this deck at tier 3 since they could easily disrupt your play. All they have to do is just stop your summoning of melia to put lonefire to grave. This deck quickly demise your hand so if you don't get lonefire to the grave early in the game then you're gonna suffer. Pot of duplicity does help refill your hand cause if your melias did die then you could shuffle it back and the 2 monster use to summon it back and draw 2 card. This deck has psychic, warrior and plant so duplicity should be alive most of the time. I would try to find a place to add more mystical space typhoon, duplicity, or forbidden lance but I can't decide what to remove for it. Had to get a new computer and do everything over again. This video was kinda rush, I didn't really put a lot of effort into this video, I just played a few game and just smashed all the replay into one video. Didn't really feel like the music fit well with the video but oh well. Music: 1.Etrian Odyssey IV - Music: Battlefield - Storm 2.Etrian Odyssey IV - Music: Battlefield - Faith is My Pillar 3.Etrian Odyssey Untold - The Battlefield That Never Sleeps My thoughts: Wow this deck sure has gone a long way, at least for me it is. After 3 months I think I finally made it the best it can be. If you been following since the first Meliae Turbo video then you'll know that point of this deck is to mainly summon out talaya and gigaplant for a otk, quasar is just optional to summon it's not the main focus. Xyz reborn + Supervise + lonefire in the grave is enough to put out 9k damage with 1 talaya, 2 gigaplant, and 1 melia, plus even if they did survive somehow they would have to dark hole you 3 times to completely get rid of all your monster. The one big weakness of this deck is spell and traps. I should have put in more spell and trap protection but I didn't feel like I had enough space for it, beside if I'm playing a trap heavy deck then I'll just make barkion. The extra deck is really tight now that quasar is there to fill up the space. I would probably place this deck at tier 3 since they could easily disrupt your play. All they have to do is just stop your summoning of melia to put lonefire to grave. This deck quickly demise your hand so if you don't get lonefire to the grave early in the game then you're gonna suffer. Pot of duplicity does help refill your hand cause if your melias did die then you could shuffle it back and the 2 monster use to summon it back and draw 2 card. This deck has psychic, warrior and plant so duplicity should be alive most of the time. I would try to find a place to add more mystical space typhoon, duplicity, or forbidden lance but I can't decide what to remove for it. It's to focused more on getting Quasar out more consistently. In order to make Quasar, you really need dandy to be detach as a xyz material. Those token are very crucial in order to summon Quasar out. Miracle fertilizer helps out a lot due to it being able to bring back dandylion or lonefire, which could get dandylion from the deck. The one card you do not want to draw is spore. You basically can't make Quasar anymore if you draw the single spore of the deck. One thing that really hurts the deck is trap heavy deck. Since this is a turbo spamming deck, a single trap can just stop you dead in your track, but against a trap less deck. You'll find this deck to do very well against them. The two card this deck hates the most is Evilswarm Excition Knight and Ark Knight. The Tayala lock can basically get shutdown by Ark Knight since he doesn't destory and just attach Tayala as a xyz material. So then I alternated to having 1 Tayala and 1 Tytannial, but even then they could just use Excition Knight and wipe out my field since he could use his field wiping effect twice and Tayala can only protect once. I didn't wanna add the second Tayala, cause I want to keep the deck consistent. So for now 1 Tayala and 1 Tytannial should be the perfect balance right now. I just love how fast you can swarm with this deck. You abuse lonefire blossom to special summon talaya or gigaplant from your deck, then when lonefire is out of target, you then abuse gigaplant to special summon plant from your hand or grave. I also love how this deck have interchangeable boss monster. Talaya is great against deck that use alot of deck destruction, Tytannial is good against deck that target alot, and Malina is good at protecting your plant monster? Malina is probably the less useful out of the 3 plant princess. I removed debris dragon since I wanted to make the deck more consistent at making meliaes since the whole deck revolves around it.The reason why Tytannial isn't in the main deck is simply cause I don't like how you have to tribute a plant for Tytannial eff and I don't want to add in another lv 8 plant monster to draw into cause it's mostly a dead draw unless you have gigaplant. I might bump up gigaplant to 3 mainly cause, if i have 2 gigaplant and 1 of them have supervise, i could xyz into a rank 6 then supervise eff would activate and i could bring back the 3rd gigaplant from the grave. The worst match up for this deck is still big beaters to a extent, but mostly your worst match up is macro, d.fissure, or necrovalley deck, basically any card that shutdown the grave. You definitely don't want any of your plant to be banish, while you do have levair, it could only bring back a lv 4 or lower. The deck can now make rank 6 xyz, swarm the field with big plant beater, and able to make quasar. Music: 1.Etrian Odyssey IV - Music: Battlefield - Storm 2.Etrian Odyssey IV - Music: Battlefield - Faith is My Pillar 3.Etrian Odyssey Untold - The Battlefield That Never Sleeps My thoughts: Wow this deck sure has gone a long way, at least for me it is. After 3 months I think I finally made it the best it can be. If you been following since the first Meliae Turbo video then you'll know that point of this deck is to mainly summon out talaya and gigaplant for a otk, quasar is just optional to summon it's not the main focus. Xyz reborn + Supervise + lonefire in the grave is enough to put out 9k damage with 1 talaya, 2 gigaplant, and 1 melia, plus even if they did survive somehow they would have to dark hole you 3 times to completely get rid of all your monster. The one big weakness of this deck is spell and traps. I should have put in more spell and trap protection but I didn't feel like I had enough space for it, beside if I'm playing a trap heavy deck then I'll just make barkion. The extra deck is really tight now that quasar is there to fill up the space. I would probably place this deck at tier 3 since they could easily disrupt your play. All they have to do is just stop your summoning of melia to put lonefire to grave. This deck quickly demise your hand so if you don't get lonefire to the grave early in the game then you're gonna suffer. Pot of duplicity does help refill your hand cause if your melias did die then you could shuffle it back and the 2 monster use to summon it back and draw 2 card. This deck has psychic, warrior and plant so duplicity should be alive most of the time. I would try to find a place to add more mystical space typhoon, duplicity, or forbidden lance but I can't decide what to remove for it. Spell striker is also a good lv 3 earth use to special summon for melia but I didn't fully test it out and completely forgot about it. Overall it's a pretty fun deck to play I kinda hope they give more support for plants in the future. Other: It took me a while to make this video mainly due to my computer breaking down after a huge thunderstorm, I lost all my decks, replay, and just about everything in my computer T_T . Had to get a new computer and do everything over again. This video was kinda rush, I didn't really put a lot of effort into this video, I just played a few game and just smashed all the replay into one video. Didn't really feel like the music fit well with the video but oh well. Wasn't really motivated since I lost all my replay with that thunder storm and had to remake the deck and get new replays,then the banlist came and had to redo the deck for the 3rd time -_- .

It's to focused more on getting Quasar out more consistently. In order to make Quasar, you really need dandy to be detach as a xyz material. Those token are very crucial in order to summon Quasar out. Miracle fertilizer helps out a lot due to it being able to bring back dandylion or lonefire, which could get dandylion from the deck. The one card you do not want to draw is spore. You basically can't make Quasar anymore if you draw the single spore of the deck. One thing that really hurts the deck is trap heavy deck. Since this is a turbo spamming deck, a single trap can just stop you dead in your track, but against a trap less deck. You'll find this deck to do very well against them. The two card this deck hates the most is Evilswarm Excition Knight and Ark Knight. The Tayala lock can basically get shutdown by Ark Knight since he doesn't destory and just attach Tayala as a xyz material. So then I alternated to having 1 Tayala and 1 Tytannial, but even then they could just use Excition Knight and wipe out my field since he could use his field wiping effect twice and Tayala can only protect once. I didn't wanna add the second Tayala, cause I want to keep the deck consistent. So for now 1 Tayala and 1 Tytannial should be the perfect balance right now.
