Ballyporeen (Irish: Béal Átha Póirín) is a village in County Tipperary, Ireland. The national census of 2006 recorded the population of Ballyporeen at 304 with an additional 573 in its rural hinterland.
It lies in the Galtee-Vee Valley with the Galtee Mountains to the north and the Knockmealdowns to the south. The River Duag which is a tributary of the Suir runs through the village. It is located on the R665 regional road. The nearest large towns are Mitchelstown and Cahir, which are 12 km and 21 km respectively.
The village is approximately 11 km from Junction 12 of the M8 Motorway.
During the week, it is served five times a day in each direction by Bus Éireann route 245 linking it to Clonmel, Mitchelstown, Fermoy and Cork. During the weekend, there are three buses each way.
The origins of the name are not definitively understood. The most accepted Irish translation is the "Ford Mouth of the Round Stones". Those stones may have been river deposits or dye stones left there by inhabitants from a cloth dyeing process.
Ronald Wilson Reagan (/ˈrɒnəld ˈwɪlsən ˈreɪɡən/; February 6, 1911 – June 5, 2004) was an American politician and actor, who served as the 40th President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. Prior to his presidency, he served as the 33rd Governor of California from 1967 to 1975, following a career as a Hollywood actor and union leader.
Raised in a poor family in small towns of Northern Illinois, Ronald Reagan graduated from Eureka College in 1932 and worked as a sports announcer on several regional radio stations. After moving to Hollywood in 1937, he became an actor and starred in a few major productions. Reagan was twice elected as President of the Screen Actors Guild, the labor union for actors, where he worked to root out Communist influence. In the 1950s, he moved into television and was a motivational speaker at General Electric factories. Having been a lifelong liberal Democrat, his views changed. He became a conservative and in 1962 switched to the Republican Party. In 1964, Reagan's speech, "A Time for Choosing," in support of Barry Goldwater's floundering presidential campaign, earned him national attention as a new conservative spokesman. Building a network of supporters, he was elected Governor of California in 1966. As governor, Reagan raised taxes, turned a state budget deficit to a surplus, challenged the protesters at the University of California, ordered National Guard troops in during a period of protest movements in 1969, and was re-elected in 1970. He twice ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nominations in 1968 and 1976; four years later, he easily won the nomination outright, going on to be elected the oldest President, defeating incumbent Jimmy Carter in 1980.
The White House is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States, located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. It has been the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800.
The house was designed by Irish-born James Hoban and built between 1792 and 1800 of white-painted Aquia Creek sandstone in the Neoclassical style. When Thomas Jefferson moved into the house in 1801, he (with architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe) expanded the building outward, creating two colonnades that were meant to conceal stables and storage. However, in 1814, during the War of 1812, the mansion was set ablaze by the British Army in the Burning of Washington, destroying the interior and charring much of the exterior. Reconstruction began almost immediately, and President James Monroe moved into the partially reconstructed Executive Residence in October 1817. Construction continued with the addition of the South Portico in 1824 and the North in 1829.
A president is the leader of a country or a division or part of a country, typically a republic, a democracy, or a dictatorship. The title "president" is sometimes used by extension for leaders of other groups, including corporate entities.
Etymologically, a president is one who presides (from Latin prae- "before" + sedere "to sit"; giving the term praeses). Originally, the term referred to the presiding officer of a ceremony or meeting (i.e., chairman), but today it most commonly refers to an executive official. Among other things, "President" today is a common title for the heads of state of most republics, whether presidential republics, semi-presidential republics or parliamentary republics.
The title President is derived from the Latin prae- "before" + sedere "to sit." As such, it originally designated the officer who presides over or "sits before" a gathering and ensures that debate is conducted according to the rules of order (see also chairman and speaker). Early examples are from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge (from 1464) and the founding President of the Royal Society William Brouncker in 1660. This usage survives today in the title of such offices as "President of the Board of Trade" and "Lord President of the Council" in the United Kingdom, as well as "President of the Senate" (one of the roles constitutionally assigned to the Vice-President of the United States). The officiating priest at certain Anglican religious services, too, is sometimes called the "President" in this sense. However the most common modern usage is as the title of a head of state in a republic.

When Ronald Reagan visited Utah, there was an elephant in the room - literally! (Taken from the documentary, "When the White House Comes to Zion.")
A British member of parliament on Tuesday called on U.S. Vice President Joe Biden to apologize for casting a "slur" on Protestants by joking to an Irish delegation that no-one wearing orange was welcome in his house on St. Patrick's Day. Northern Irish Protestants traditionally wear orange during their annual summer parades, while green is used as a symbol by mostly Catholic Irish nationalists and is a theme of St Patrick's Day celebrations around the world. Protestant leaders in Northern Ireland were not amused. ►Circle us on Google + http://goo.gl/TXeBfX ►Subscribe Channel http://goo.gl/mqt0wI ►Don't forget to Like * Comment * Share this video. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stay tuned, Stay connected

Superstar Billy Brown
Oh, what your doin' to this town?
Don't you know that everybody here
Wants to be like you
All of your adoring fans
Sittin' in the seats and stands
Listening to every word you say
And watchin' every move
Once I saw a sign that said
'Billy Brown for President'
(It ain't easy)
Bein' a star
(It ain't easy)
To be who you are
(It ain't easy)
But you're goin' far
Well, you say, "There's nothin' to it"
But somebody's gotta do it, boy
Superstar Billy Brown
Stop and listen to the crowd
Everywhere you go
Well everybody's screaming out your name
Do they know the reason why
You point your finger to the skies?
(It ain't easy)
Bein' a star
(It ain't easy)
To be who you are
(It ain't easy)
But you're goin' far
Well, you say, "There's nothin' to it"
But somebody's gotta do it, boy
We all are watching and expect
That whatever you're doin' next
Well, it is gonna be the greatest thing
We have ever seen
(It ain't easy)
Bein' a star
(It ain't easy)
To be who you are
(It ain't easy)
But you're goin' far
Well, you say, "There's nothin' to it"
(It ain't easy)
Bein' a star
(It ain't easy)
To be who you are
(It ain't easy)
But you're goin' far
Well, you say, "There's nothin' to it"
(But somebody's gotta do it)
Yea, you say, "There's nothin' to it"
(But somebody's gotta do it)
Well you say, "There's nothin' to it"
