SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS:
“Amasia- Possible Future Supercontinent After Actual Earth"
demonstrates that if nature is systematic, then there is a calm before
the torrents and an unleashing of perfectly normal change. The moving
imagery of terrain is pure. Its realness fools an untrained eye as
visual effects may trick the sharpest one. The jewelry industry is a
well-mapped frontier in search of discovery. The scenes in this film
welcome a new generation of raw talent and poise to an unexpected
universe.

PANGAEA Expedition 2008-2012
http://www.mikehorn.com
Pangaea, one of the most remarkable voyages of exploration ever undertaken a four-year trans-navigation of the globe by sea and land by South African adventurer-explorer Mike Horn.
The expedition, named Pangaea after the supercontinent that existed 250 million years ago, will cover 100,000 kilometres, reaching the North and South Poles and crossing all the continents and oceans.
At various stages throughout his journey, employing the Young Explorers Programme, young adults from each continent, aged 13 to 20 will be invited to join Mike on this amazing odyssey. Horn will walk, kayak, cycle, paraglide, ski and sail across all terrains including oceans, rivers, lakes, mountains, desert, jungle, tundra and ice fields.

Supercontinent
All about Supercontinent. This is another Text 2 Audio transformation using Flite. Below is the transcript for the recording: In geology, a supercontinent is the assembly of most or all of the Earth's continental blocks or cratons to form a single large landmass. However, the definition of a supercontinent can be ambiguous. Many tectonicists such as Hoffman use the term "supercontinent" to mean "a clustering of nearly all continents". This definition leaves room for interpretation when labeling a continental body and is easier to apply to Precambrian times. Using the first definition provided here, Gondwana is not considered a supercontinent, because the landmasses of Baltica, Laurentia and Siberia also existed at the same time but physically separate from each other. The landmass of Pangaea is the collective name describing all of these continental masses when they were in a close proximity to one another. This would classify Pangaea as a supercontinent . According to the definition by Rogers and Santosh , a supercontinent does not exist today . Supercontinents have assembled and dispersed multiple times in the geologic past . The positions of continents have been accurately determined back to the early Jurassic. However, beyond 200 Ma, continental positions are much less certain. Table 1- Supercontinents through geologic history using a general definition.- published: 27 Sep 2013
