Pitt picked up its 1st win as a memeber of the ACC with an easy 49-27 win over New Mexico. Freshman RB James Conner and WR Tyler Boyd had coming out parties in the victory. Conner racked up 119 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Boyd also scored twice and hauled in 6 receptions for 134 yards. Pitt faces Duke next week.

We waited nearly two weeks for Jameis Winston's second game, and he certainly did not disappoint. Winston threw two touchdowns in the 1st half of the Seminoles' game against Nevada, one of which was a 24-yarder to Kenny Shaw.

Chase Rettig had a very tough day against the USC defense managing only 83 yards of passing. Boston College has a week off and then meets Florida State on September 28th.

Brown threw for 277 yards and a touchdown, and also ran for 122 yards and a touchdown. Stefon Diggs finished with 110 yards and a touchdown on just 5 receptions. The Terps now get to prepare for the Border Battle next weekend with West Virginia at M&T; Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

Hokies defensive end James Gayle sacked ECU QB Shane Carden and caused him to fumble late in the 4th which sealed the deal. The Hokies play Marshall next Saturday.

The Demon Deacons were down 21-13 late in the game, but an Orville Reynolds touchdown with 4 seconds to go put Wake within 2 points of a tie. The Deacs were unable to convert the 2-point conversion and the Warhawks got out of Winston-Salem with a victory. Quarterback Tanner Price threw for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss.
