Arik Hesseldahl (born in 1970) is an American journalist currently working as a senior editor for All Things Digital. He writes the column entitled NewEnterprise, which focuses on corporate information technology. He joined the site in December, 2010.

Previously he was a senior technology writer for Bloomberg Businessweek and a reporter for Bloomberg News. He wrote the column "Byte of the Apple" which focused on Apple Inc. for BusinessWeek.com, and also hosted two video podcasts, "Tech 101" and "The Wireless Way."

Before joining BusinessWeek in 2005, he was, from 2000, a senior editor and technology columnist at Forbes.com.

He has also worked for Electronic News, New Century Networks and The Idaho State Journal. He has written for Wired and CJR. He started his professional career as a sports reporter for The Corvallis Gazette-Times, in Corvallis, Oregon.

Hesseldahl graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism with an MS in Journalism in 1997. He also has a BA in Journalism from the University of Oregon, earned in 1993.

Margaret Cushing "Meg" Whitman (born August 4, 1956) is an American business executive. She is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hewlett-Packard. A native of Long Island, New York, she is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Business School. Whitman served as an executive in The Walt Disney Company where she was vice president of strategic planning throughout the 1980s. In the 1990s, she served as an executive for Procter & Gamble and Hasbro. Whitman served as President and Chief Executive Officer of eBay from 1998 to 2008. During her ten years with the company, she oversaw expansion from 30 employees and $4 million in annual revenue to more than 15,000 employees and $8 billion in annual revenue.

In February 2009, Whitman announced her candidacy for Governor of California, becoming the third woman in a twenty year period to run for the office. She won the Republican primary in June 2010. The fourth wealthiest woman in the state of California with a net worth of $1.3 billion in 2010, she spent more of her own money on the race than any other political candidate spent on a single election in American history, spending $144 million total of her own fortune and $178.5 million including donors. Whitman lost to Jerry Brown in the November 2 election.

Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs (/ˈdʒɒbz/; February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011) was an American businessman, designer and inventor. He is best known as the co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. Through Apple, he was widely recognized as a charismatic pioneer of the personal computer revolution and for his influential career in the computer and consumer electronics fields. Jobs also co-founded and served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, when Disney acquired Pixar.

In the late 1970s, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak engineered one of the first commercially successful lines of personal computers, the Apple II series. Jobs was among the first to see the commercial potential of Xerox PARC's mouse-driven graphical user interface, which led to the creation of the Apple Lisa and, one year later, the Macintosh. During this period he also led efforts that would begin the desktop publishing revolution, notably through the introduction of the LaserWriter and the associated PageMaker software.

Mike Daisey (born 1976) is an American monologist, author, and actor best known for his full-length extemporaneous monologues about Nikola Tesla, L. Ron Hubbard, Steve Jobs and Apple's supply chain in China, the Department of Homeland Security, the history of the New York transit system, 9/11, the inventor of the neutron bomb, Wal-Mart and a variety of other topics. Daisey received international media attention in March 2012 when his fabrications were exposed in his monologue on Apple's supply chain.

Wasting Your Breath (1997) is a monologue of the Great American Roadtrip, Daisey is crossing the country from Maine to Seattle or bust in a story that jumps back and forth between two autobiographical storylines: a crumbling relationship with a pregnant girlfriend and a cross-country exodus from New England. Originally produced by Open Circle Theater in Seattle in 1997,Wasting Your Breath was remounted and produced at Berkeley Repertory Theatre in 2004.

I Miss the Cold War (1998) is about Daisey's visit to post-Communist Warsaw and his father's counseling practice treating post-traumatic stress disorder in war veterans, interwoven with the history of his father's time in Vietnam. It was originally produced by 24/7 Productions in Seattle in June 1998.
