Nui (Cliff Lok is very enjoyable in this role, and pulls it off convincingly) is a country bumpkin with strength in excess, but a childlike ignorance of the world. After leaving his aunt, who raised him to go seek his father in the next town, he is told that his father is a servant of a celebrated general. The general’s three sons and their martial arts teacher, as well as one of the general’s men (played by Dean Shek in his usual goofy and foolish style) make Nui the target of humiliation, beating him up repeatedly. Eventually, Nui's kindheartedness leads him to the good graces of a skilled and bickering kung fu couple. They each teach him their styles (Dragon and Mo Chiu) and he returns to town to make a fool out of those who scorned him earlier. Eventually, in a politically charged martial arts fight against Hwang Jang-Lee, Nui will get a chance to prove to all what he is capable of. This film is worth seeking out!

Ng See-yuen
Ng See-yuen, born 1944 in Shanghai is a Chinese director of independent film companies in Hong Kong. He has worked in the Hong Kong film industry since 1970, particularly in Hong Kong action cinema, with roles including film director, producer and screenwriter. Ng is the chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers.
History
Filmmaking
His career in the industry began at Shaw Brothers Studio, where his official title was "Executive". The first film he was involved in was The Chinese Boxer (1970), on which he worked as assistant director to film director Jimmy Wang Yu. In 1975, he founded Seasonal Films Corporation. The first film produced by the company was Secret Rivals in 1976, which Ng also directed.
Ng produced and co-wrote Snake in the Eagle's Shadow (1978) and Drunken Master, which were both the first films directed by Yuen Woo-ping, and Jackie Chan's first real successes at the domestic box office.
In 1985, Ng was the first Hong Kong producer to make a film in the USA that successfully showed the Hong Kong style of action, when he worked with Corey Yuen on No Retreat, No Surrender, which starred then unknowns Kurt McKinney and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan, SBS, MBE,PMW, (born Chan Kong-sang, 陳港生; 7 April 1954) is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist, film director, producer, stuntman, and singer. In his movies, he is known for his acrobatic fighting style, comic timing, use of improvised weapons, and innovative stunts, which he typically performs himself. Chan has been training in Kung fu and Wing Chun. He has been acting since the 1960s and has appeared in over 150 films.
Chan has received stars on the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a cultural icon, Chan has been referenced in various pop songs, cartoons, and video games. An operatically trained vocalist, Chan is also a Cantopop and Mandopop star, having released a number of albums and sung many of the theme songs for the films in which he has starred. He is also a notable philanthropist. In 2015, Forbes magazine estimated his net worth to be $350 million.
Early life
Chan was born on 7 April 1954, in British Hong Kong, as Chan Kong-sang, to Charles and Lee-Lee Chan, refugees from the Chinese Civil War. He was nicknamed Pao-pao Chinese: 炮炮 ("Cannonball") because the energetic child was always rolling around. His parents worked for the French ambassador in Hong Kong, and Chan spent his formative years within the grounds of the consul's residence in the Victoria Peak district.

Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee (Chinese: 李小龍; born Lee Jun-fan, Chinese: 李振藩; November 27, 1940 – July 20, 1973) was a Hong Kong American martial artist, action film actor, martial arts instructor, philosopher, filmmaker, and the founder of Jeet Kune Do. Lee was the son of Cantonese opera star Lee Hoi-Chuen. He is widely considered by commentators, critics, media and other martial artists to be one of the most influential martial artists of all time, and a pop culture icon of the 20th century. He is often credited with helping to change the way Asians were presented in American films.
Lee was born in Chinatown, San Francisco on November 27, 1940 to parents from Hong Kong and was raised in Kowloon with his family until his late teens. He was introduced to the film industry by his father and appeared in several films as a child actor. Lee moved to the United States at the age of 18 to receive his higher education, at the University of Washington, at Seattle and it was during this time that he began teaching martial arts. His Hong Kong and Hollywood-produced films elevated the traditional Hong Kong martial arts film to a new level of popularity and acclaim, sparking a surge of interest in Chinese martial arts in the West in the 1970s. The direction and tone of his films changed and influenced martial arts and martial arts films in the United States, Hong Kong and the rest of the world.

Nui (Cliff Lok is very enjoyable in this role, and pulls it off convincingly) is a country bumpkin with strength in excess, but a childlike ignorance of the world. After leaving his aunt, who raised him to go seek his father in the next town, he is told that his father is a servant of a celebrated general. The general’s three sons and their martial arts teacher, as well as one of the general’s men (played by Dean Shek in his usual goofy and foolish style) make Nui the target of humiliation, beating him up repeatedly. Eventually, Nui's kindheartedness leads him to the good graces of a skilled and bickering kung fu couple. They each teach him their styles (Dragon and Mo Chiu) and he returns to town to make a fool out of those who scorned him earlier. Eventually, in a politically charged martial arts fight against Hwang Jang-Lee, Nui will get a chance to prove to all what he is capable of. This film is worth seeking out!
