Court convicts Indian teen for gang-rape

A teenager in India has been sentenced to three years in juvenile detention for his part in the gang-rape and murder of a woman in New Delhi last December. The family of the victim say that justice has not been served and that the defendant should be hanged.

well that should send out a message to potential rapists and murderers in India. 3 years jail and presumably time off for good behaviour? Amazing the indifference of the judiciary!
