Penn Radio was an hour-long talk CBS radio show which ran from January 3, 2006 to March 2, 2007, hosted by Penn Jillette and Michael Goudeau and produced by "Happy" Jack Landreth and Patrick DiFazio. It was broadcast on the Free FM brand radio stations (usually) live, with theme music by Mike Jones.
The show dealt with topics in the news regarding science, skepticism, religion, entertainment and politics. Jillette promoted his libertarian and atheist perspectives from the "nut point of view" to encourage listeners to call and email with their stories and opinions about the topic. Early shows tended to be without structure, with Jillette and Goudeau talking about whatever came to mind, taking the occasional caller and reading the occasional email. Later shows had tended to formalize around a current topic and a call-in talk show format.
Jillette and Goudeau would usually broadcast from Jillette's Vegas area home ("The Slammer"). The broadcast was done from Jillette's personal recording studio, Vintage Nudes Studio.

James Randi (born Randall James Hamilton Zwinge; August 7, 1928) is a Canadian-American stage magician and scientific skeptic best known as a challenger of paranormal claims and pseudoscience. Randi is the founder of the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF). Randi began his career as a magician named The Amazing Randi, but after retiring at age 60, he began investigating paranormal, occult, and supernatural claims, which he collectively calls "woo-woo".
Although often referred to as a "debunker", Randi rejects that title owing to its perceived bias, instead describing himself as an "investigator". He has written about the paranormal, skepticism, and the history of magic. He was a frequent guest on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and was occasionally featured on the television program Penn & Teller: Bullshit!. The JREF sponsors The One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge offering a prize of US$1,000,000 to eligible applicants who can demonstrate evidence of any paranormal, supernatural or occult power or event under test conditions agreed to by both parties.
Penn Fraser Jillette (born March 5, 1955) is an American illusionist, comedian, musician, and best-selling author known for his work with fellow magician Teller in the team Penn & Teller, and advocacy of atheism, scientific skepticism, libertarianism and free market capitalism.
Jillette was born in Greenfield, Massachusetts. His mother, Valda R. Jillette (née Parks) (November 8, 1909 – January 1, 2000), was a secretary, and his father, Samuel H. Jillette (March 14, 1912 – February 14, 1999), worked at Greenfield's Franklin County Jail. Jillette became disenchanted with traditional illusionist acts that presented the craft as authentic magic, such as The Amazing Kreskin on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. At age eighteen, he saw a show by illusionist James Randi, and became enamored of his approach to magic that openly acknowledged deception as entertainment rather than a mysterious supernatural power. Jillette regularly acknowledges Randi as the one person on the planet he loves the most besides members of his family.
I've seen love go by my door
It's never been this close before
Never been so easy or so slow.
Been shooting in the dark too long
When somethin's not right it's wrong
Yer gonna make me lonesome when you go.
Dragon clouds so high above
I've only known careless love,
It's always hit me from below.
This time around it's more correct
Right on target, so direct,
Yer gonna make me lonesome when you go.
Purple clover, Queen Anne lace,
Crimson hair across your face,
You could make me cry if you don't know.
Can't remember what I was thinkin' of
You might be spoilin' me too much, love,
Yer gonna make me lonesome when you go.
Flowers on the hillside, bloomin' crazy,
Crickets talkin' back and forth in rhyme,
Blue river runnin' slow and lazy,
I could stay with you forever
And never realize the time.
Situations have ended sad,
Relationships have all been bad.
Mine've been like Verlaine's and Rimbaud.
But there's no way I can compare
All those scenes to this affair,
Yer gonna make me lonesome when you go.
Yer gonna make me wonder what I'm doin',
Stayin' far behind without you.
Yer gonna make me wonder what I'm sayin',
Yer gonna make me give myself a good talkin' to.
I'll look for you in old Honolulu,
San Francisco, Ashtabula,
Yer gonna have to leave me now, I know.
But I'll see you in the sky above,
In the tall grass, in the ones I love,
This boy, breezes in from the South Wells. This boy, sees his days in the Middle East. This boy, eased his way up the silver turns, but what is that, when this boy, he needs love, he needs love.
This boy, thought he had found his girl. This boy, ought to have kept that girl. This boy, caught up in the wheels of fate, this boy deserves, oh this boy, he needs love, an everlasting love. He needs love. Oh this boy, he knows, how to feel, the blood in his heart runs strong as ?, this boy only knows what's real, so give him love, an everlasting love. Give him love. Oh this boy, he's got a, heart of gold and gold's the most precious thing, you could ever hold and if his heart is made of that, what ? ? be told, just give him love, an everlasting love. Give him love.
Lying back in the waterless & spiky grass
Looking up at the fluffy clouds seem closer now
Looking down through the tumbling grass to the line of trees
All the cars on the Gulldford Road are just a murmur now
Foot-worn paths like white-washed dreams run down the hill
Red kite waving so frantically in the bluey sky
Family with a little girl in a blowy dress
She crouches down to pick a flower then dances on
Bah bah...
Right up here I'm far away from everything
Right up here there's nothing that can touch me now
The only thing that stabs my back is spiky grass
The only thing that makes me fall is liberty
Bah bah...
On box hill
..standstill
On box hill
I am the lucky one
I have always had someone
But if I should lose that one
My wings would melt in the sun
& into the ocean I fall
On a transatlantic ship
He is leaning on the rail
Looking at the glossy sea
From the perfect fairytale
He incidentally turns his head
Because something caught his eye
From the stillness of the sun
Falls a body from the sky
Into the sea
Into the sea
Crippled anger from a crippled brain
Crippled footsteps through a crippled train
Bloody headwound leaves a bloody stain
On a raincoat smelling from the rain
It's the last train, it's the last train home
It's the last train, it's the last train home
Knees together handbag nicely perched
Her dateline boyfriend left her in the lurch
Through the window she keeps her constant stare
Which is funny because there's nothing there
It's the last train, it's the last train home
It's the last train, it's the last train home
The carriage lurches like the drunken man
Swaying sideways through the wasteland
While never flinching the wheels keep tight reign
Like the girl, like the girl, staring through the pain
It's the last train, it's the last train home
It's the last train, it's the last train home
But is that any comfort, is that any comfort?
