Matthew Langford Perry (born August 19, 1969) is a Canadian-American actor and comedian, best known for his Emmy-nominated role as Chandler Bing on the popular, long-running NBC television sitcom Friends. He also received acclaim for his portrayal of Ron Clark in the television movie The Ron Clark Story, accompanied by another Emmy nomination as well as a Golden Globe nomination. Perry also starred in the short-lived series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and has appeared in a number of films, including Fools Rush In (1997), The Whole Nine Yards (2000), and 17 Again (2009). In 2010 he expanded his resume to include both video games and voiceover work when he voiced Benny in the role-playing game Fallout: New Vegas.

Perry was the co-creator, co-writer, executive producer and star of the short-lived ABC sitcom Mr. Sunshine, which ran from February to April 2011.

Perry was born in Williamstown, Massachusetts, United States. His mother, Suzanne Jane Louise Morrison (née Langford), is a Canadian journalist and former press secretary to Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, and his father, John Bennett Perry, is an American actor and former model. His parents divorced before his first birthday and his mother subsequently married Keith Morrison, a broadcast journalist. Perry was raised by his mother in Ottawa, Ontario, and was enrolled at Rockcliffe Park Public School and Ashbury College. While growing up, he took a keen interest in tennis and became a top-ranked junior player.

Alan Charles Rusbridger (born 29 December 1953, Northern Rhodesia, now Zambia) is the editor of the British newspaper The Guardian. He has also been a reporter and a columnist.

Rusbridger was born in Northern Rhodesia, the son of B.E. (née Wickham) and G.H. Rusbridger, the Director of Education of Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia). He was educated at Cranleigh School, a boys' independent school in Cranleigh, Surrey, and at Magdalene College, Cambridge, where he read English.

His first post in journalism was with the Cambridge Evening News. He joined The Guardian as a reporter in 1979 and subsequently wrote the paper's diary column and was a feature writer. He left to become The Observer's TV critic before moving to America to be the Washington editor of the London Daily News. On returning to The Guardian in 1987 he launched the "Weekend" supplement and the paper's "G2" section. As editor from 1995, he oversaw the launch and development of the Guardian Unlimited website. He defended the paper against a number of high-profile defamation suits, including from the Police Federation and the Conservative MPs, Neil Hamilton and Jonathan Aitken. In late 2005 The Guardian responded to the tabloid re-launches of The Times and The Independent by moving from a broadsheet format to the "Berliner" format, common in the rest of Europe.

Patrick Abram Seale is a British journalist and author who specialises in the Middle East, as well as a literary agent and art dealer. He is a former correspondent for The Observer and has interviewed many of the Middle East's most prominent leaders and personalities.

Seale is the author of a number of books, including The Struggle for Syria (1965), French Revolution 1968 (1968), Philby, the Long Road to Moscow (1973), The Hilton Assignment (1973), Asad of Syria: The Struggle for the Middle East (1988), Abu Nidal: A Gun for Hire (1992), and The Struggle for Arab Independence: Riad el-Solh and the Makers of the Modern Middle East (2010). He also ghostwrote Desert Warrior, the 1995 Gulf War memoirs of Saudi prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.

Seale's father was the Arabist and Theologian Morris S. Seale (1896-1993). He was educated at Balliol and St Antony's College, Oxford, where he specialised in Middle East history. He obtained his D.Litt at Oxford. His journalistic experience includes six years with Reuters, mainly as a financial journalist, and over twelve with The Observer, covering the Middle East, Africa, and India.

Maryam d'Abo (born 27 December 1960) is an English film and television actress, best known as Bond girl Kara Milovy in the 1987 James Bond film The Living Daylights.

Born in London to a Georgian mother Nino Kvinitadze (daughter of Georgian General Giorgi Kvinitadze) (born in 1920) and Peter Claude Holland d'Abo (born on 7 October 1917 and married in 1956), d'Abo was raised in Paris and Geneva.

She decided to be an actress at the age of 11.^{[citation needed]} She studied at Drama Centre London, while working as a model in commercials.^{[citation needed]}

In 1983, she made her screen debut in the successful low-budget science fiction horror film Xtro, playing Analise Mercier, a French au pair, who becomes a human incubator for an alien. Xtro was briefly vilified as a so-called video nasty, but in fact it was granted an uncut video certificate by the BBFC.

In 1985, she made a brief appearance as 'French girlfriend' in White Nights.

In 1987, she starred in The Living Daylights as Kara Milovy, the sweet and vulnerable Czechoslovakian cellist and sniper who falls for James Bond. As a tie-in with the film, she also appeared in a Bond themed Playboy cover and multi-page pictorial in the September 1987 edition, but later said "I wouldn't do those pictures now... I've learned a lot since then" in an interview with People.

Paul Conroy is an English music executive with a long and varied career of managing labels. He went from general manager of pioneering indie Stiff to senior positions with majors like Virgin Records, WEA and EMI.

Conroy's introduction to the music business came as a college social secretary in the early 1970s. His first job was working as a booking agent for the Charisma Agency, where he worked with Nigel Kerr. Together they built the agency up into a major force on the burgeoning pub rock scene. In 1975 they collaborated with Jake Riviera to put on the Naughty Rhythms package tour, with pub rock stalwarts Kokomo, Dr. Feelgood, Chilli Willi and the Red Hot Peppers. Conroy became the manager of The Kursaal Flyers, who got signed to Jonathan King's UK Records and had a hit with the song "Little Does She Know". In an idiosyncratic twist that presaged the common touch of many of his later promotional successes, Conroy had the band perform on Top of the Pops surrounded by laundry machines and giant detergent boxes.
