Turing

I’m happy to present you Turing, an Italian band that says on its website:

“Biographies are boring. Music is better”

They submitted their EP to Spaghettimusic, it’s nice to hear some good new music (and not to latinoamercamelodicthrash that is usually proposed to me)

This is Sull’orlo, enjoy!

Italian Indie music: Amor Fou

Amor Fou

Amor Fou is an Italian indie band, this is I 400 colpi. Two thoughts about:

  • why our mainstream music is still dominated by singers retired (from the good music) at least 15 years ago or by young X-Factor stars? Why this song can’t be aired?
  • why only after 5 years they are separating?

Incontro

Francesco Guccini is an Italian singer-songwriter, you should remember him… This is an emotional 1973 performance for a TV show. What is incredible is to see Guccini singing on TV: he usually don’t go on TV (and never to sing) and TV usually TV don’t like to broadcast him.

Bad final news: Guccini has announced that his LP “L’Ultima Thule” is the last one and he will never do live shows anymore.

It’s never too late to listen good ol’ music

Nada Malanima, simply known as Nada, is an Italian female singer. Despite her participations to mainstream and oldish Sanremo music festival, her songs are pretty classy and not always easy listening. This is her first song, Ma che freddo fa. She was only 16 years old in 1969 but with the same charisma as Patty Smith.
