New images of alleged chemical attack aftermath in Syria
The video shows victims lie where they fell, some with their face contorted in pain.
The footage also shows, what witnesses call "evidence" of one of the missiles that carried allegedly a chemical agent that hit the area.
A small crater and exploded metal was only feet away from where there were dead bodies.

Chemical attack in Syria: Shocking first independently verified pictures by ITV News
ITV News has obtained the first independent pictures from the scene of the alleged chemical attack in eastern Damascus. Women and children can be seen lying in the rubble as well as an apparent missile that caused the alleged attack, which according to the opposition, has killed more than a thousand.
A UN team is already in Syria but only has permission to visit specific locations. The regime has dismissed as "baseless" claims it was behind the latest incident.
Chemical weapons experts have agreed some kind of chemical attack took place, but are unsure whether it was caused by a nerve agent. Report by Sarah Kerr.

Russia backs UN probe of Syria attack
Russia has said it had told Syria to cooperate with UN experts investigating reports of a deadly chemical weapons attack that is believed to have killed hundreds, and called on rebels to allow access to the area.
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told his US counterpart John Kerry in a phone call that immediately after the reports first emerged about the attack on Wednesday, the "Russian side called on the Syrian government to cooperate with the UN chemical experts," the foreign ministry said in a statement on Friday.

Syrian Activist on Ghouta Attack: "I Haven't Seen Such Death in My Whole Life"
http://www.democracynow.org - The Syrian government is facing growing pressure to allow an international probe of an alleged chemical weapons attack on the outskirts of Damascus. The Syrian opposition says government forces fired poisonous gas into rebel-held neighborhoods of Ghouta, killing hundreds of people. Video posted on YouTube this week shows frantic scenes of overwhelmed hospitals, dead children and countless bodies. If confirmed, it would stand to be the most violent incident in Syria since the rebel uprising began two years ago and one of the worst toxic attacks in decades. The alleged attack occurred just days after U.N. inspectors arrived in the country to investigate previous attacks. We're joined from Syria by Razan Zaitouneh, a lawyer and human rights activist who works with the Human Rights Violation Documentation Center. We also speak with Patrick Cockburn, a longtime Middle East correspondent for the London Independent who recently returned from reporting in Syria. "We couldn't believe our eyes," Zaitouneh says of witnessing the attack's aftermath. "I haven't seen such death in my whole life."

Israeli air force jets bombed what an Israeli military source described as a 'terror site' near Na'ameh between Beirut and Sidon in Lebanon.
The attack was confirmed by a spokesman from the Palestinian militant group the Liberation of Palestine General Command.
There are no reports of any casualties as a result of the air strike which caused a 5 metre crater near the target. The bombing came 24 hours after four rockets were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel, an attack claimed by an al-Qaeda-linked Sunni Muslim group.
That strike damaged the area but no one was hurt. "Israel will not tolerate terrorist aggression originating from Lebanese territory" said a military spokesman in a statement, adding Friday's cross-border salvo was in retaliation to the bombing in northern Israel.

Syrian opposition activists say a chemical weapons attack in the suburbs east of Damascus carried out by government forces has killed hundreds of people including children. Amateur, unverified video of the purported attack showed pale, lifeless bodies of adults and children lined up on floors of makeshift hospitals and others with oxygen masks on their faces as they were attended to by paramedics.

UN holds emergency meeting on Syria attack
An emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council has called for a prompt investigation into an alleged chemical weapons attack outside the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The main Syrian opposition group says more than 1,000 people have been killed on the outskirts of Damascus and that Bashar al-Assad's government is responsible.
The Syrian government denies using chemical weapons and says the claims are a desperate attempt to cover up defeats.
Al Jazeera's John Terrett, reporting from New York, said the Council released "a very vague, bland and tepid statement" after the two-hour meeting.
"The Security Council is hobbled on issue of Syria, they can't agree on anything," he said.
