Lorena Rojas (born Seydi Lorena Rojas Gonzalez on 10 February 1973) is a Mexican actress and singer, a song writer and best known for her leading roles in popular Telenovelas.
She was born in México D.F, México and began her artistic career in 1990 when she participated in the soap opera Alcanzar Una Estrella produced by Televisa. This telenovela was so successful that she went on to record a sequel Alcanzar Una Estrella II the following year. Between 1992 and 1997 she starred in several Televisa productions including Buscando El Paraiso, Bajo Un Mismo Rostro and El Alma No Tiene Color until she signed to TV Azteca in 1998. She is sister of Mayra Rojas.
This same year she starred in the period drama Azul Tequila, sharing credits with Mauricio Ochmann with whom she would later star in 2001's Como En El Cine. 2001 also saw the release of Rojas's debut album as a singer Como Yo No Hay Ninguna, recording songs by legendary songwriter/producer Richard Daniel Roman. In 2003 Rojas signed to Telemundo, later taping in that same year the telenovelaLadrón De Corazones besides Manolo Cardona. In 2005, she starred in her most acclaimed telenovela El cuerpo del deseo, besides Andrés García, Mario Cimarro, Erick Elías, & Sonia Noemí, among others, which proved to be an international success, broadcast by Telemundo NBC. In 2006 she released her second album Deseo.
Carlos Espejel Leguizano (born April 21, 1972) is a Mexican telenovela actor and comedian, best known for his roles as "Chiquidrácula" (1982–1987) and "Carlinflas" (1982–2006).
Espejel started his acting career at an early age. In 1981 he appeared in the show Alegrías de Mediodía, where he first met one of his Humor es...los Comediantes co-hosts, Aida Pierce. In 1982, he appeared in the children's show Chiquilladas playing the role of Chiquidrácula, a vampire child who always manages to get in trouble. The catch phrase for this character was "Les va a dar mucho meyo" ("meyo" referring to «miedo») (You are going to be "afraid"). He also appeared in the show El Privilegio de Mandar as Carlinflas, a parody of the celebrated Mexican comedian, Cantinflas.
He has appeared in many telenovelas (soap operas) like Quinceañera (Fifteen years teenager), Amor en Silencio (Love in silence), Morir Para Vivir (Dying to Live) and Vivo Por Elena (I live because of Elena). He co-hosted Humor es...los Comediantes from 1999 to 2001, and participated in most of the sketches on this series, most notably teamed with two of the other cohosts, Teo Gonzalez and Aida Pierce. At the same time, he played an elementary school student named "Carlitos" (his nickname in real life) on Cero en conducta (Zero in conduct); Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo was the creator, producer and star of both programs.
Mario Antonio Cimarro Paz (born June 1, 1971) is a Cuban actor.
Cimarro was born in Havana, Cuba to Antonio Luis Cimarro and Maria Caridad Paz. He has one sister, Maria Antonia Cimarro Paz In 1994, Cimarro left Cuba for Mexico City in order to fulfill his life long dream of becoming an actor. He studied intensively with preeminent teachers, including Adriana Barraza and Sergio Jimenez. Upon graduation with a degree in drama, he began to pursue roles that would allow him to grow as an artist. His credits include "Romeo and Juliet" for 20th Century Fox directed by Bazz Luhrmann and "Managua" for AstraCinema starring Louis Gosset Jr. Soon he began to get offers of work in other countries and traveled to Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia where he worked in each country with top writers, producers and directors. Mario had the opportunity to star in two great Latin-American cultural iconic series; "Pasion de Gavilanes" and "El Cuerpo del Deseo", accomplishing his desire to work with writer Julio Jimenes and director Rodrigo Triana. Relentless about learning, he moved to Los Angeles in 2007, to polish his craft in American cinema starring in "Rockaway" for First Look Studios directed by the Crook Brothers, for which he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Juju. He also starred soon after as SN in "Puras Joyitas" directed by Cesar Oropeza, which has quickly rose to become a number one box office hit in Venezuela.
