Hebrew Wikipedia (Hebrew: ויקיפדיה: האנציקלופדיה החופשית‎; pronounced Wikipedia: HaEntsiklopedia HaChofshit, while Wikipedia is pronounced by most speakers Vikipedia; Hebrew pronunciation: [wikiˈpedia haʔentsikloˈpedja haχofˈʃit]) is the Hebrew edition of Wikipedia. This edition began in July 2003 and has about 134,000 articles as of June 2012.

The Hebrew Wikipedia has several topics on which organized article writing projects were held, among them Wikitort - an academic project to write original articles about tort law, PhysiWiki - a project to write and improve articles about Physics with the cooperation of Weizmann Institute of Science, and ongoing academic projects^{[citation needed]} during which mathematics students write as their assignments new articles which cover topics from the basics of calculus and linear algebra up to advanced topics of functional analysis, abstract algebra and algebraic geometry.

Another major area of work is Jewish history and the History of Israel. Such articles often include original photos taken by the writers. In 2006 the Elef Millim project (English: Thousand Words project) was created; its purpose is to enrich Wikipedia with free images. As a part of this project, groups of Israeli Wikipedians meet for field trips in various places in Israel in order to take pictures and bring members of the Hebrew Wikipedia community together.

Kent E. Hovind (born January 15, 1953) is an American young earth creationist. Hovind has spoken on creation science and has aimed to convince listeners to reject theories of evolution, geophysics, and cosmology in favor of the Genesis creation narrative from the Bible. Hovind's views are contradicted by scientific evidence and some of his ideas have also been criticized by young earth creationist organizations such as Answers in Genesis.

Hovind established the Creation Science Evangelism ministry in 1989, and frequently spoke on young Earth creationism at seminars at private schools and churches, debates, and on radio and television broadcasts. Since January 2007, Hovind has been serving a ten-year prison sentence after being convicted of 58 federal counts, including 12 tax offenses, one count of obstructing federal agents, and 45 counts of structuring cash transactions. He is incarcerated at the FPC Satellite Camp of the ADX Florence prison in Florence, Colorado.

On February 9, 1969, at the age of 16, Hovind became a born again Christian. In 1971, he graduated from East Peoria Community High School. He holds three degrees in Christian education (1974, 1988, 1991) from unaccredited institutions. He is married and has three adult children and five grandchildren. One of his sons, Eric Hovind, travels doing creationist presentations and debates using many of his father's arguments.

Ehud Ya'ari (1945 -) (Hebrew: אֶהוּד יָעָרִי‎) is an Israeli journalist, author, television personality and political commentator.

Ehud Ya'ari was born in 1945. He was married to Hava Ya'ari. They divorced after she was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder.

Ehud Ya'ari is an expert on Middle Eastern affairs. He is the author of eight books on the Arab-Israeli conflict, some in collaboration with Ze'ev Schiff. He has interviewed Yasser Arafat, King Hussein of Jordan and his son Abdullah, President Husni Mubarak of Egypt, almost all Israeli prime ministers since Menachem Begin (including Yitzhak Rabin), Bashar al-Assad, Muammar al-Gaddafi and others. Today, Ya'ari is a political commentator for Israel's Channel 2 news. Yaari is an associate editor of The Jerusalem Report and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. He is also Senior Fellow at the Adelson Institute for Strategic Studies. Ya'ari has published articles in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and Atlantic Monthly.
