Far to the northwest in Pahang, just 125 miles from sprawling Kuala Lumpur, are the Cameron Highlands. When you venture into the cool, misty depths of this mountain wonderland, you’ll be witness to some of the most exquisite landscapes in Malaysia. At nearly 5,000 feet meters above sea level, a trip to these forested areas will stick with you for the rest of your life.
The Cameron Highlands are named after Scottish surveyor William Cameron. He stumbled upon the lush valleys of the highlands in the late 1800s, and found the gorgeous environment and cool air too enticing to leave. Colonial Britons living in Malaysia trekked to the highlands to escape the heat and humidity of the rest of the island. Today, the Cameron Highlands are a quiet, relaxing retreat for those who are looking for a slower pace of life. You won’t find high-end resorts here, but rather quaint inns, many of which hail from the colonial era and are lovingly preserved by owners and caretakers.
If you’re a fan of tea, your Cameron Highlands sightseeing will include stops at local tea plantations. This is a holdover from British times; the colonists brought their love of tea with them, and upon realizing tea plants could be grown in the Cameron Highlands, great rolling hills of plants appeared in the rolling highlands. But you’ll still find wide swaths of jungle and forested area, flooded with wildlife and the sounds of birds and insects. A Cameron Highlands tour, above all, is a reminder of nature’s beauty.

You're watching INSIDER TV - the insider's guide to the world's most exciting cities!
Here's your essential Shanghai travel guide - our hosts Jin Ye and Jack Cameron tour you around the best places to eat, drink, shop, and play in Shanghai. What to do in Shanghai in the month of March 2015:
GETTING AROUND:
The Maglev train currently connects the airport to Shanghai's subway system but if you're not staying in Pudong, it is faster and wiser to take a taxi. You can hail a taxi anywhere in the city to get to People's Square, but remember that taxi rate increases by around 35% during night time. Public buses charge ¥2, but for the truly adventurous only. The subway is definitely the most efficient way to go around the city - from Pudong to Minghang Disrict and all they way to Kunshan in Jiangsu Province.
ATTRACTIONS:
The Bund is Shanghai's famous waterfront area which runs on the western side of the Huangpu River, facing Pudong. The main attractions tourists can find here are the Light of Huangpu River, Sail, and Wind sculptures, the Chenyi Square and The Sightseeing Tunnel.
Shanghai Museum boasts one of mainland China's best collections of ancient Chinese artifacts. Learn more about the Chinese culture as you explore the four-floor museum which has a collection of over 120,000 precious historical relics, calligraphy works, paintings, furniture, and sculptures.
EAT, SHOP, AND PARTY:
Shanghai is a flourishing city where you can find all the good food from all over the world. With nearly 60 thousand restaurants in the city, the food choices here are endless!
Dine at Shun Feng Gang for remarkable Chinese cuisine. Taste the refreshing but delicate regional flavors of Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou. For some brunch, snack, or dinner, drop by at Xiangxinji. Its laid back atmosphere plus pan-fried flour dumplings are popular to locals and tourists alike.
If shopping is in your agenda, you've come to the right place! Between Pudong and Puxi, there are a dozen of shopping malls to explore day and night.
Sample off-the-hook cocktails prepared by skilled mixologists at The Roof. One of the most outstanding bars in the city, The Roof is the perfect cap off for a day of sightseeing in Shanghai.
While in Shanghai, make sure to check out:

• Shanghai Zoo
• Guyi Garden

When I think of the most under-rated countries to visit in SE Asia Malaysia comes to mind. With a rich culture and diversity - unlike any other nation in Southeast Asia - there is something for everyone. Some of my favorite places to visit in Malaysia include Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Penang and the Cameron Highlands. The following is a top attractions travel guide for the best things to do in Malaysia:
1) Few architectural wonders can compete with the Petronas Towers. Equally as impressive by day as they are at night, it is an absolute must landmark to visit in Kuala Lumpur.
2) Night markets in Malaysia are well worth a visit. My personal favorite is the Jonker Street Night Market located in Melaka. On the weekends Jonker street shuts down to traffic and turns into a sea of people and stalls selling everything from trinkets to street food. While we were there we made sure to cool down with Cendol, which is our favorite Malaysian street food snack.
3) The Batu Caves are of my favorite attractions that is absolutely free! Taking the commuter train from KL Sentral we arrived early in the morning before all of the package tourists. The caves themselves, an important Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Murugan, are worth the 272 step climb to the top. You'll notice many of cheeky monkeys along the way.
4) The KL Bird Park is a quirky attraction worth checking out. Its claim to fame is being the largest walk in aviary. Home to thousands of birds you'll be able to spot peacocks, flamingos and many other exotic ones. It's not the cheapest attraction but I would say it it worth the price of admission if you plan to stay for several hours.
5) While you're in Georgetown, Penang consider visiting a recently opened cat cafe! The Purrfect Cat Cafe in George Town is home to some adorable cats just waiting to be petted. For the price of a small meal or drink you'll be able to sit down and play with them.
6) Whenever I head back to Malaysia I can't help but break out in a smile because I know I'm going to get a chance to eat dim sum again. My favorite place is in George Town and along with Chinese tea I can't really control myself.
7) When I mentioned Malaysia was a diverse country, I was referring to the people and cuisine. Indian food is one of my favorite cuisines and having the opportunity to eat a delicious banana leaf thali set is something I wouldn't miss for the world. Loaded up with rice, dal, vegetables, roti, papad, chutney and pickles. Coming in at only 22 Ringgit (for the two of us) it's an inexpensive but delicious meal.
8) Want to visit the biggest Buddhist temple in all of Southeast Asia? Would you be surprised to learn that it is in Malaysia? Kek Lok Si temple, also known as the Temple of Supreme Bliss, is located in Air Itam. The temple combines Mahayana Buddhism and Chinese rituals. To visit take bus 201, 203 or 204 from Komplex Komptar in the heart of George Town, Penang.
9) The Petronas Towers are brilliant by day but 'wow' do they ever shine bright at night. They have really cool light shows that takes place.
10) You can't visit Malaysia without having Roti Canai for breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or a snack. An Indian flat bread, similar to a pancake, it comes in all different sizes, shapes and flavors. Our two favorites being cheese and banana. Dip in curry using either you hands or utensils.
11) While in Malacca it's a great idea to take a Melaka River Cruise at night as the city really lights up at night. You'll notice wonderful old colonial architecture and street art along with traditional homes alongside the Kampong.
12) The Clan Jetties are an important part of George Town's heritage and the last bastions of old Chinese settlements.
13) Georgetown is one of the most hot and humid cities I've ever visited. If you're looking to escape that for a while head over to the Botanical Gardens just outside of the city. In shady conditions you'll have the opportunity to walk around this massive park where you'll surely spot monkeys and other wildlife.
14) When visiting Malacca be sure to check out a Baba-Nyonya restaurant. A mixture of Chinese and Malaysian cuisine at its finest. Some of our favorite dishes included Nyonya Laksa, Rojak and Popiah.
15) Bling. Bling. That's not the sound of a horn but instead the decorations on a rickshaw in George Town. For around 30 to 40 Ringgit you can take a full one hour city tour. It certainly beats walking around in the heat. Highlights for us included going through Little India.

In the last episode, Al Bielek (Ed Cameron) dives into the water with brother Duncan Cameron, with plans to swim ashore, after seeing the horrors of the disaster the Philadelphia Experiment did to the men, including brother Jim
Instead of hitting the cold water, they found themselves flying through clouds and blacked out
When they awoke, they were in the hospital with radiation burns of the ionizing type, memories wiped and everything was cool, until an orderly turned on the TV
A big screen television hung on the wall and best of all, it was in color
You can imagine how they felt
For six weeks they recovered in the hospital and one day Al Bielek vanished
He was sent by someone to the year, 2749 where he worked as a tour guide for 3 years, until they told him he'd have to return to the 20th Century
This woud be like someone telling you that you have to return to the 13th Century! How dreadful, so Al told them, 'No thanks!'
They said you will go and he said, 'But I don't want to'
They they said there are problems and you have to go back to solve them and so back he went
He had to spend the rest of his life, living under a Nazi government
If you think this story is true, then good for you
If you want to believe, but you have questions, even better
Those who accept on faith are like the religious and are easily led, like sheep
Those who ask questions are at the top of the heap
I would not let you watch this testimony and lead you on
There are, you will find, some smelling salts, at the end

Travel video about destination Malaysia.
Malaysia is an exotic world located in the Far East, full of tradition and history. We begin our journey in Malacca, the oldest city on the southwest coast of the Peninsular Malaysia that boasts six hundred years of history. Both Portuguese and Jesuit settlers lived here for a hundred and thirty years and introduced their culture to the region. The city’s history dates back to 1403 when Hindu prince, Paramesware of the Sri Vijaya Realm in Sumatra, established a sultanate. The Chinese-dominated area of the city extends across the opposite banks of the river where the mainly two storey residential and business premises are densely packed together. In contrast, the Cheng Hoon Temple is one of the oldest temples in Malaysia and nearby is the Kampung Kling Mosque which is of ancient Sumatran design. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s modern capital city, is relatively young. It originated in the middle of the nineteenth century at the junction of two rivers. Chinese pioneers discovered an abundance of minerals here. Since then, however, things have much improved and Kuala Lumpur is now one of the cleanest cities in the world with two steel towers as its unmistakeable landmark, connected by an impressive bridge. Since 1926, tea has been cultivated in the Cameron Highlands where the mild and rainy climate is ideal for its growth. British surveyor, William Cameron, discovered this region in 1885 and soon afterwards its wooded hills were transformed into tea plantations that now attract tourists from all over the world. Sarawak is located in Borneo, the third largest island on the planet. We start our journey through this Malayan federal state, in the northwest of the island, in the capital, Kuching. The British Empire had various buildings constructed in the city but its ethnic groups were content to remain within their own surroundings. Malaysia is like a magnificent fairy tale, a melting pot of various cultures and ethnic groups amid abundant tropical vegetation. Although Malaysia has changed, it has not forgotten the rich traditions of its indigenous tribes yet it is now a country that is travelling into a new age.

Back to January this year, I and my girlfriend were managed to make a small trip to Malaysia from Phuket.
It was 3 cities tour from Penang to Cameron Highlands and Kuala Lumpur. It was fun and we have the good time during the trip.
The only thing that should not happened in this trip was my footage was short, I was focus more on photography.
All video shot by Canon 600D with Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6,
It was a good lens for traveling.
Anyhow, thank you for watching.
