SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas Coast Guard and Customs and Border Protection personnel recovered multiple bundles of marijuana in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of South Padre Island Tuesday night at approximately 10 p.m. Coast Guard Station South Padre Island's 33-foot Special Purpose Craft - Law Enforcement boat crew interdicted the suspect vessel while conducting a routine patrol of the area.
