On 5 January 2004 Pastore became the host of ''The Frank Pastore Show'' on KKLA 99.5 FM in Los Angeles. It is the largest Christian talk show in the United States.

On 5 November 2004 an opinion piece Pastore authored, entitled "Christian Conservatives Must Not Compromise" was published in the Los Angeles Times. In it, he references Leftism as "this evil ideology" and says that "the Left must be defeated in the realm of ideas," and has provoked a strong reaction on some message boards.

Pastore is a graduate of Damien High School, La Verne, California. His nephew, Nick Pignotti, now plays soccer at the University of La Verne.

After a drug arrest in 1980 for cocaine possession, Angelo became a Christian prior to serving a six-year federal prison sentence.

Upon his release on parole in 1984 Angelo worked for various Christian ministries such as, Faith Farm of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, Teen Challenge of Southern California, Chuck Colson's Prison Fellowship and the Palm Beach Drug Abuse Foundation.

Angelo released a book in 2005 entitled, ''Once Life Matters: A New Beginning''. Impact Publishing. ISBN 0961895446. The book goes into details of his life in the entainment business during the '60s and '70s leading up to his arrest, prison life and Christian ministry work for over 25 years.

Pat Cooper (born July 31, 1929) is an American actor and comedian. Cooper is primarily known for his stand-up routines, where he often makes reference to his Italian heritage from Mola di Bari, Italy. He was also a frequent guest on many radio shows, most notably ''The Howard Stern Show'' in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, in January 2011, and more recently, ''Imus in the Morning'' and ''Opie and Anthony''.

On May 2, 1969, Cooper and singer Jimmy Roselli premiered in their two man show at Broadway's Palace Theatre, New York.

On radio, Pat Cooper has made memorable guest appearances on such programs as ''The Howard Stern Show'', Bob Grant and the ''Opie and Anthony Show'' (the latter on XM Satellite Radio on April 27, 2006, October 17, 2007, April 24, 2008, March 16, 2010, November 16, 2010 and February 25, 2011), and on ''The Jay Thomas Show'' on January 25, 2011.

He was an occasional contributor to Colin Quinn’s late-night TV show on Comedy Central, ''Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn''.

Cooper commented on the subject of comedy and comedians in the 2004 TV series ''Comedy Central Presents: 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time'' and in the 2005 film ''The Aristocrats''.

Pastore got a bigger role in the comedy/crime film ''The Jerky Boys'' (1995) as Tony Scarboni, one of the three gangsters and Lazarro (Alan Arkin)'s clients. In the 1996 HBO television movie ''Gotti'', Pastore played the character of Angelo Ruggiero, alongside fellow ''Sopranos'' cast members Tony Sirico and Dominic Chianese.

In 1999, Pastore got his biggest role to date in ''The Sopranos'', where he played the character Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero. His character was murdered in the finale of season 2, but Pastore would make a few more appearances over the next few years in dream and flashback sequences.

Reality shows

On February 20, 2007, the ABC television network announced that Pastore would participate in the fourth season of the American version of the competitive dance series ''Dancing with the Stars''. Pastore withdrew from the competition after only one week, however, after finding the necessary training and preparation too physically demanding. John Ratzenberger took his place in the competition.

Pastore was featured as a contestant on the January 2008 edition of ''Celebrity Apprentice''. In the second week, Vincent participated in raising $52,286.00 by selling hot dogs on a Manhattan Street, for that week’s charity. And in a task of selling Broadway show tickets, Pastore as Project Manager lead his team to raise $33,300 for charity. In week 5, Pastore originally got into a faked, blow-out conflict with the project manager of the task, Piers Morgan in order to see if Pastore could get the women to let him on their team to spy on them. The episode had played out like an episode of ''The Sopranos'' with Pastore switching allegiances multiple times. But, then, Pastore was deliberately "ratted out" to the women by Morgan in the end, to make Pastore look bad to the women. While Pastore and the men then lost their task, besides, before Trump even lifted a finger to fire anyone that week, Pastore resigned from the show and Trump eventually accepted Pastore's resignation after trying to convince him to stay. The show ended with a sequence based on the series finale of ''The Sopranos'', ending abruptly before Pastore could give the customary end-of-show interview in the cab. Week 6 episode begins with Pastore meeting his ex wife Nancy in a restaurant and presenting her the check he received for being Project Manager for $50,000, in memory of her husband, Mitchell Burke’s Memorial fund with the Lustgarden Foundation.

On July 1, Pastore appeared on NBC’s new show, ''Celebrity Family Feud'', as part of a family team trying to win $50,000 for their favorite charity. He first competed, with his friends and family, against the cast of ''The Girls Next Door''. Then, Pastore's team made it to the finals against Kathie Lee Gifford's family, but did not win. However, Pastore and his team picked up a $10,000 consolation prize for their charity, which is researching a cure for pancreatic cancer.

On April 8, 2011, Pastore and a Partner came on the Shark Tank (TV series) to make a deal for an item called a "Broccoli Wad" that holds money. All the "Sharks" wanted out, Barbara Corcoran said "this is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on this show". She later had the idea of putting Pastore's face and name on the box, and labeling it "Vinnie's Wad". Corcoran offered $50,000 for a 40% stake in the company, and would give half of her ownership to Vinnie in exchange for his name and face on the packaging. Pastore and his partner agreed. This deal was contingent upon further due diligence.

As of July 10th 2011 he appeared on the VH1 Marc Cronin produced reality show Famous Food. In the show contestants are assigned the task of opening a restaurant on the Sunset Strip.

Radio

Personal life

He still lives on City Island in the Bronx. Pastore is a devout fan of the ABC soap opera ''General Hospital''. Pastore is also close friends with Boston mogul "Famous" Nick Varano, often frequenting his North End establishment "Strega".
