County Waterford: Man dies after being swept to sea

RTÉ reports that he was fishing on rocks at Annestown when he was reportedly swept out to sea. The man was found in the water near Boatstrand, west of Annestown by the Search and Rescue helicopter based at Waterford airport. He was taken to University Hospital Waterford where he later died ... Farmers destroy the environment, right? And conservationists would stop farmers earning a living in order to save it? Right?. Wrong on both counts ... Rewards. It is obvious from this scheme, from the growing Uplands Councils movement, from the Dunhill/Annestown catchment management scheme, and from numerous individual initiatives across the country, that many farmers understand their environmental heritage very well, and cherish it....
