Spring Break 2013 (1) - Newton to Kansas City
1) Arrival of my train. I am standing well away from where my camera is for safety's sake (aside from when I need to zoom out). The train is on time. 3/16/13 Units: P42 4x, and apparently I forgot to call them out to ensure accuracy. It's nearly three in the video and I'm tired since someone decided to keep waking me up while trying to sleep in Newton. 2) Quick shot of people having to board on the street. 3/16/13 3) BNSF Freight, KCY platform that morning. 3/16/13 Was given permission by the attendant on the Chief to wait on the platform instead of inside. Also, finally figured out what was causing the angled shot (tripod is apparently testy with which leg is out front), so the shot improves midway. 4) KCS F Unit, I believe. (Someone correct me if it's an E) 3/16/13 5) BNSF Freight from my business class seat onboard the River Runner. Really friendly attendant let me board before everyone else - got me out of the rather cold wind. 3/16/13 6) UP Freight, also from said seat. 3/16/13- published: 28 May 2013

The ball with memory Newton's first law says that in the absence of external forces is a uniform rectilinear motion. For this reason in the experiment you can see how the ball moves in a straight line until you reach the rotating platform, the platform follows a path complexa, but leave recovers the initial movement. It seems strange and capricious behavior, but serves to illustrate Newton's first law: a body does not change its state of rest or his movement if it does not act on an outside force. This is what happens before and after moving on the platform. For a person who was on the disc does not fulfill the first law of Newton. The inhabitants of the planet are in this situation, but do not notice it much because the earth rotates slowly. Newton's laws are valid in reference systems not accelerate: inertial systems. Imagine that we see in the following image a person climb on a train, throws a ball upward and from outside the train we see that the ball describes a parabola as the image. Now if we are in the train with this person throwing the ball up, only see the ball up and down in a straight line.- published: 26 Sep 2013

Balloon Concept and Aerial Sports Trailer, Switzerland 2011
I filmed this promotional video for Balloon Concept. A beautiful sunny day in air with friends in the valley of Château d'Oex. We wanted to film some sequences and edit a small video with the balloon "Newton" who will participate at the Eco Trans Canada Project and in the same time promoting other aerial sports with hot air ballooning, skydiving and paragliding. A lot of fun, a lot of friendship and a lot of laughing. Many thanks !
Eco Trans Canada ambitions to cross Canada from west to east on a revolutionary hot air balloon. Managed by multiple world champion Pierrick Duvoisin, this project will showcase technological innovations, propose an observation and measurement platform for scientific high schools; it will also provide an educational approach to students. NEWTON VIRUS,
Introducing soothing gravity to your laptop
Named after the father of modern mechanics, the 'Newton Virus' introduces the concept of gravity causing your desktop to behave exactly as it would in the real physical environment. Desktop icons become susceptible to Newton’s invisible force and fall, roll and tumble in whatever direction gravity pulls them delivering a little bit of reality to your virtual environment. Perfect for spicing up your colleagues day or simply enjoying the marvels of Newtonian principles at work.
But not to worry, the non-destructive virus will not replicate itself, mail itself to your friends or destroy any of your files, but instead provide you with moments of blissful surprise and magic.
The Newton Virus is now part of the permanent collection at MOMA, New York
Concept
In the early days of computing viruses were born out of the wit of early computer adopters, viruses whose sole purpose was to surprise and amuse. Essentially creating non-destructive forms of artificial life. We wanted to revive this golden era, and went on to create our first computer virus. We chose to do it for Mac as the platform is still a virgin territory. At the same time the virus toys with the idea of interaction beyond the strictly functional. The virus celebrates the urge for humans to play while introducing some of the randomness of reality into our strictly controlled and de-humanized virtual environments.
Design and Development
Utilizing the onboard motion sensors of MacBooks, the virus senses the movements of it's host adjusting it's affects accordingly.

NEWTON ENERGY NR REVIEW - GingerRunner.com Review
SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/subGINGERRUNNER READ THE FULL REVIEW: http://gingerrunner.com I am all sorts of stoked on this shoe. The Newton Energy NR is a fantastic shoe and I might go as far as to say it's one of Newton's best shoes yet. There are a number of reasons for this. The 5 lug system, the stable forefoot platform, the soft EVA cushioning, the midfoot rubber plate, the transition, the comfy upper, and the overall long-distance comfort of this shoe make it awesome. If you are a new forefoot runner or an old Newton-ite, this shoe will make you smile. The only downsides I've really found are the heal-cup fit, the weight, and the odor retention. Other than those points, the shoe has performed amazingly well for me in all sorts of conditions. I've put all sorts of mileage on this shoe, probably a good 120 miles at this point, and they are still rockin' strong and are very comfortable. As a shoe reviewer, I'm bouncing between all sorts of shoes all the time. When I would switch back to the 2013 distance, I would have noticeable fatigue in not only my forefeet, but also calves. The lug system definitely takes getting used to, but this made me realize it also needs consistency. But what's great about the Energy NR is that they are fantastic in my rotation. I can go from a minimal flat, to a trail shoe, and run 20+ miles in the Energy NR without the typical calf strain I get from jumping back into the Distance. Way to go, Newton. You have a winner here.
