Susana Esther Baca de la Colina (Spanish pronunciation: [suˈsana ˈβaka]; born Chorrillos, Lima Province, Peru, 24 May 1944) is a prominent Peruvian singer-songwriter, school teacher, folklorist, ethnomusicologist and two-times Latin Grammy Award winner. She has been a key figure in the revival of Afro-Peruvian music.
In July 2011, she was named Peru's Minister of Culture in the Ollanta Humala government, becoming the second Afro-Peruvian cabinet minister in the history of independent Peru.
In November 2011 she was elected to the Organization of American States (OAS) as the President of the Commission of Culture for the period 2011–13.
Baca grew up in a coastal fishing village Chorrillos, a district of the Lima Province of Peru, and part of greater Lima. Her music is a mixture of traditional and contemporary. Her backing band features indigenous Peruvian instruments such as the cajón ("wooden box", whose origins lie in an upturned fruit crate), udu (clay pot), and quijada (jawbone of a burro) cheko a dried gourd, as well as acoustic guitar and electric upright baby bass. Although many of her songs are based on traditional forms such as the landó or vals, she also incorporates elements of Cuban and Brazilian music. Her debut CD for Luaka Bop, produced by Greg Landau, brought her to the attention of World Music audiences worldwide.
Joaquim Fernando Nogueira (born 1950) is a Portuguese politician.
He was during Aníbal Cavaco Silva governments, Minister of the Parliamentary Affairs (1985–1987), Justice (1987–1990), National Defense (1990–1995), and Presidency (1987–1995). He was usually seen as the number 2 of the Social-Democratic Party. On 19 February 1995, he won the leadership of the Social-Democratic Party over José Manuel Durão Barroso, after Aníbal Cavaco Silva left the leadership to try to run for president. On 1 October 1995 the Social Democrats lost the elections against the Socialist Party after a 10-year rule of the Social Democrats. After the defeat of Aníbal Cavaco Silva in the 14 January 1996 presidential elections, he resigned, and was latter replaced by Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

Charlie Hunter (born May 23, 1967) is an American guitarist, composer and bandleader.
First coming to prominence in the early 1990s, Hunter has recorded 17 albums. Hunter plays custom-made seven and eight-string guitars, on which he simultaneously plays basslines, rhythm guitar, and solos. Critic Sean Westergaard describes Hunter's guitar technique as "mind-boggling ... he's an agile improviser with an ear for great tone, and always has excellent players alongside him in order to make great music, not to show off."
Hunter was born in Rhode Island. When he was four his mom packed him and his younger sister in an old yellow school bus and headed west. After several years living on a commune in Mendocino County they settled in Berkeley, California. Hunter graduated from Berkeley High School and took lessons from famed guitar teacher Joe Satriani. At eighteen he moved to Paris. Hunter has stated that it was his experience busking on the streets of Paris that provided him with "on the job training" because he busked for 8 to 12 hours a day to make ends meet. Returning to the Bay area, Hunter played a seven-string guitar and organ in Michael Franti's political rap group, The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy. In 1992, they were one of the opening acts for U2's Zoo TV Tour.

Para mí la letra es muy importante, porque a medida que voy cantando me convierto en esa letra. Entonces tengo que convencer a mi oyente de esa ternura...

Susannah there was peace between
our fathers
How we ceased lo be a bother
We would run together in the morning light
And separate until the cool of night
oh my Susannah
We can throw our dreams together
Though my other wing of feather
How can you stop the lightening,
In the sky and as the rains run red
One of the reasons why, oh my Susannah
It ain't safe to stay here any more
Got to load the wagon and head up north.
And rearrange their reasons in our minds
Keeping safe a way in the present times.
Keeping safe a way in the present times.
Susannah there was peace between
Our fathers
How we ceased to be a bother
We could run together in the morning light
And separate until the cool of night
Oh my Susannah, for me there ain't no other
I swear, I swear there ain't no other.
That won't stop the lightening in the sky
And as the rains run red,
One of the reasons why . . Oh yeah you're
the light in the southern Sky, Susannah
