Calsonic Kansei Corporation (カルソニックカンセイ株式会社, Calsonic Kansei Kabushiki-gaisha) is a large Japanese automotive company which has 50 manufacturing centers in USA, Poland, South Korea, Mexico, Romania, Thailand, UK, South Africa, India, Spain, China, France and Malaysia.
Calsonic is primarily associated with Kazuyoshi Hoshino's Impul team in Japan, sponsoring them since 1987.
The Nissan Skyline (Japanese: 日産・スカイライン Nissan Sukairain) is a line of compact cars, sports cars and compact executive cars originally produced by the Prince Motor Company starting in 1955, and then by Nissan after the two companies merged in 1966. After the merger, the Skyline and its larger counterpart, the Nissan Gloria, were sold in Japan at dealership sales channels called Nissan Prince Shop.
The Skyline was largely designed and engineered by Shinichiro Sakurai from inception, and he remained a chief influence of the car until his death in 2011.
Skylines are available in either coupé, or sedan body styles, plus station wagon, crossover, convertible and pickup/sedan delivery body styles. The later models are most commonly known by their trademark round brake and tail lights (as of 1972). While not distributed in the United States until its importation as the Infiniti G, the Skyline's prominence in video games, movies and magazines resulted in many such cars being imported there from 1989 to late 2005 via Motorex. The majority of Skyline models are rear-wheel drive, with four-wheel drive being available since the eighth-generation's debut.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R is a Japanese grand tourer based on the Nissan Skyline range.
The first GT-Rs were produced from 1969 to 1973. After a 16-year hiatus since the KPGC110 in 1972, the GT-R name was revived in 1989 with the Skyline R32 due to its popularity. This car was nicknamed "Godzilla" by the Australian motoring publication Wheels in its July 1989 edition. The GT-R proceeded to win the JTCC Group A series championship 4 years in a row, and also had success in the Australian Touring Car Championship winning from 1990 to 1992, until a regulation change excluded the GT-R in 1993.
The Skyline GT-R became the flagship of Nissan performance, and showcasing many advanced technologies including the ATTESA E-TS 4WD system and the Super-HICAS four-wheel steering. The GT-Rs remained inexpensive compared to its European rivals, with a list-price of ¥4,500,000 (US$31,000). Today, the car is popular for import drag racing, circuit track, time attack and events hosted by tuning magazines. Production of the Skyline GT-R ended in August 2002. The car was replaced by the Nissan GT-R, an independent vehicle not sold as a Skyline.

Not so pretty but definitely eye catching. Be sure to check out the custom pipe-work on the exhaust too. Yeah, I see this HR31 Skyline at the car events of northern Kyushu. It's always pretty easy to spot. I don't know what's going on under the hood. An RB is a safe bet but I don't know capacity or configuration. Interior is very plainly a single seater. There's a secret in your hair
And it's wishing to be where
And so it seems
I'll have my dreams to give you
And now I think I'll close my eyes
To be the one you sleep with
And I'm not there
I'm in the air
You will wait for me
You'll be the one til winter's come
And we freeze in the snow
Blood runs warm and it runs cold
History is remarkable
And I'll say what I have said
