Will Egypt be free and the seculars and liberals no longer fight the muslim brotherhood under Morsi and the islamic guys and will the military spin end? One factor is, how far this OVERTAKE / and NEW ORDER IN THE MILITARY (pro Morsi) HAS DEVELOPED. http://www.danielpipes.org/12203/morsi-egypt How far has this MERGE of the islamic direction and the military lead already gone, would be the question, and is the US of America aware of what happens right now? 4 month ago Morsi included some of his people in the military. How can America not see the clear ANTI-WESTERN AGENDA in the BROTHERHOOD? Is there agend against Israel and the west? Most people would say so. Also thanks (?) to Al Jazeera doing that report. I may disagree on the agenda of them according to Syria and Egypt - but use them as ressource. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KChK07p2-0 Today I found the information that the thing in Egypt might have the backing of the US as they sent billions and the F16. As Press TV reports. http://youtu.be/mSMqMHlqYug "Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi's attempt to grab power raises many questions not only about Egypt's future but also about the Middle East and US foreign policy, despite Morsi having scrapped the decree under the pressure of massive protests. As the Arab Spring turns into an Arab Winter, what are its contradictions and consequences? Two years ago, as Egypt entered a phase of powerful public demands for more democratic conditions, skeptics warned against the Muslim Brotherhood. They said that this semi-clandestine organization had no interest in democracy but only in gaining power in order to erect an Islamic "caliphate."In the past, Egypt had capable leaders seeking modernization such as Muhammad Ali (1769-1849) and khedive Ismail Pasha (1830-95). Foreign intrigue and imperialism, however, interrupted Egypt's progress in the 19th century. Pasha, a friend of the US, was deposed in 1879 by the British Empire which then undertook to control Egypt. The Egyptian military liberated the country from foreign domination in the revolution of 1952. Soon after, the great Arab nationalist leader, Gamal Adbel Nasser, emerged as president. The US position was mixed. At first, it sought to work with Nasser. Former US president Dwight D. Eisenhower staunchly defended Egypt against Israel, the UK, and France during the Suez Crisis of 1956. But then the Cold War and Zionism placed Washington and Cairo at odds. After Anwar Sadat (1918-81) became Egyptian president in 1970 and later became friendly, Washington moved to work with Egypt as a way to reduce Soviet influence in the Middle East and to protect Israel. Sadat's pro-Western move and 1979 peace treaty with Israel, however, angered the Arab and Muslim world. Consequently, Egypt lost prestige and influence regionally. Notwithstanding this loss, Hosni Mubarak continued the foreign policy line established by Sadat. Today, Egypt under President Morsi, has significant contradictions in internal and external policy. Internally, the Arab Spring should have brought more democratic conditions but it has not" from an article about Dr. Morsi http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/749896.shtml An oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, each against another and each against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom; and the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their counsel; and they will inquire of the idols and the sorcerers, and the mediums and the necromancers; and I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a hard master, and a fierce king will rule over them, declares the Lord GOD of hosts. And the waters of the sea will be dried up, and the river will be dry and parched, and its canals will become foul, and the branches of Egypt's Nile will diminish and dry up, reeds and rushes will rot away. ...... And the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day and worship with sacrifice and offering, and they will make vows to the LORD and perform them. And the LORD will strike Egypt, striking and healing ....
