Gov. T. A Orji of Abia State commission some major road projects completed in Aba
Governor Theodore Orji of Abia state is to commission some major road projects completed by his government in Aba , the commercial nerve centre of the state by Friday this week.
The chief press secretary to the governor, Mr. Ugochukwu Emezuo made this public while briefing the press at the government house, Umuahia.
He gave the roads billed for commissioning to include the Ukwu mango, a major link to the Ariaria international market abandoned by past administrations for over 20 years, the Danfodio by East road, the old express by Samek road as well as the overhead bridge at the Abia polytechnic.
According to him, the Umukabia Ohuhu and the Okwoyi Ibeku road in Umuahia are also scheduled for commissioning the next day.
He said that the completion of the projects by the governor is an indication that he is doing well.
Mr. Emezuo pointed out that Aba remains a priority of the state government, adding that so far, the chief TA Orji,s administration has spent about N5billion in infrastructural development in Aba.
He said that apart from the projects ready for commissioning, many other road and housing projects are on-going in parts of the state, and disclosed that the roofing of the civil servants secretariat at Ogurube layout is expected to be completed next month.
The chief press secretary debunked the false claims by the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA candidate in the last election, Reagan Ufomba that the governor is not doing anything and described such false claims as a ploy to distract and discredit the governor.
He advised Abians to discredict such false claims which have no basis and assured them that the Abia state government is set on achieving goals.
Emezuo maintained that the governor will not be distracted by the antics of those are seeking cheap popularity and described Ufomba as a failed politician.

Team Living Water: Swim for Water [9/5/09]
On Saturday, September 5, 2009, Team Living Water: Matt McFarland, Alex Silver, Adrianna English, Genii Masluk, Paula Campbell, and Nina Rohringer competed in the Maui Channel Swim. A 9 mile open water swim from the island of Lanai to Maui. Conditions were the toughest anyone had seen in years, but the team came through with a 3rd place finish in their division (15 overall out of 50 teams).
Indeed, their efforts were not in vain. They were swimming with a purpose. Teaming up with Living Water International , one month before the race, they challenged family and friends to donate $5,000 to build a well in a village that did not have access to clean water. Everyday 884 million people drink water that looks something like dingy bath water. At any given time, half of the worlds hospital beds are occupied by patients suffering from a water-related disease. Many women spend 15-20 hours per week collecting water, often walking up to 7 miles in the dry season. With the love and support of people like you, Team Living Water reached the goal of raising enough money to cover the cost of building a well in Ishiala, Abia state, Nigeria.
Watch this inspiring video of athletic courage... and get out there and make your own waves! For more information about the wonderful work that Living Water International is doing around the world, please visit: http://www.water.cc/ .

Alejandro! O viata meaaaaa…
@Organizatori DON’T MAKE ME LAUGH U PHUKKIN WHORES.
CRY ME A RIVER U WHORES. (CRY ME CRY ME :X)
BANZAI JAPAN PLAY! (BEST ROMANIAN ANIME CONVENTION!)
